To create a national holiday honoring the victims and heroes of September 11th, 2001.
Petition:
This petition is an effort to promote a national holiday for the victims and heroes of September 11th, 2001.
This day should be set aside for all time as a day to mourn those lost and to honor those that gave their lives so that others may live in peace and free from the scourge of terrorism.
This day will honor America as the bastion of freedom in the face of ever uncertain times and the history of patriotism in the United States of America. This day will honor the men and women of the Armed Services, as well as, all civillian emergency personnel.
This day will honor those who gallantly charged in, fought back flames, horror and terrorists to save the lives of the innocent. They should all be remembered. Patriots Day.
