IUPUI University is a school with over 29,000 students and growing every year. The exact ration a this point and time for students to parking spaces is 3 to 1.
Students continually to buy parking permits but are not guaranteed a spot to park. This is a growing problem and it needs to be taken care of.
2. Seniors of Buffalo County, Nebraska Pushing for more than a $10 Food Stamp Supply 
People in Buffalo county that are disabled or of the age of Senior acceptance only receive ten dollars in food stamps on a monthly basis.
This can't be accepted, because of the fact that seniors and people with a disability consume more than ten dollars of food in one month, and people who are in this age or disability range may not be able to work for themselves in an income manor.
3. Save Soc 69!
Sociology of Sexuality (Soc 69) is, after Fall 2007, no longer being offered at UC Irvine.
Please sign this petition to ensure that this beloved course becomes available for future students!

4. A Petition to Boycott British newspapers
This petition has arisen as a consequence of the biased and one-sided reporting emanating from most sectors of the British press.
We the British public feel that you are not voicing either our concerns or our opinions with respect to the McCann case. We are fed up of the press presenting a slanted and incorrect depiction of the opinions of many, many members of the public. As a consequence we now intend to stop buying your newspapers until you decide to report the McCann matter in a more judicious way.
Not everyone believes that leaving children alone in a hotel room was the correct course of action.

9. Change US Military Enlistment Policy
Currently the US Military turns down hundreds of applicants due to their criminal record. I believe this is an unfair policy. You cannot judge one's character by whats in a computer or on paper. Character and devotion to our freedom comes from within. There are people who would gladly serve and devote their lives for their country who are turned down because of their past mistakes. Serving in the US Armed forces teaches things a prison or a civilian workplace cannot teach. It teaches teamwork, discipline, devotion.
When you're serving in the military you are taught to think of your country before yourself. You are trained to die for your country if required. You fight for your country's freedom. What better way to ensure that protection then to open this opportunity to everyone. In this time of war we're in a shortage of manpower because those trusted to our country's protection are not willing to fight anymore, or are getting killed.
We need a strong military and we can't do that without enlisting more soldiers.

12. Chew In School
Most schools these days have rules saying that children are not allowed to chew gum in a classroom. However statistics show that memory improves by almost 15% more than when you are not chewing gum.
On November 14, 2004 a vote was held among the members of Tau Lambda Sigma. They voted not to have recruitment with a vote of 15 against 14. Two-thirds of the sorority was present, but did not vote. Some members were unsure of which way to vote and did not vote at all.
With the uncertainty and concern presented at the meeting that occurred on November 18, 2004 it has been proposed to reconsider the issue of recruitment and to revote with more informed members.

16. Help Get a Skatepark for Harleysville Kids
Hello. I am a resident of Harleysville, PA. This petition is directed in the direction of kids everywhere, skateboarders, and people fed up with the annoying sound of skating, rollerblading, or biking and the crowds that come with these sports.
I would like to propose a skatepark be built in Harleysville in order to keep skaters from damaging local property. It would also help to keep local authorities focused on crimes and more important things rather then just trying to bust the skateboarders in my town. I believe it will be a free public park for the people, by the people, and a skate at your own risk establishment. Money can and will be raised at local stores, in schools, and also from donations. Materials and labor will also somewhat be handled by donation as well as funding.
If you are a skateboarder or would like to help give us kids somewhere to go without getting fined, arrested, or yelled at, please sign this petition.

18. UK Broadband unavailable even though local area is enabled
This petition is intended to gather a second source of information relating to the availability of broadband in broadband enabled areas.
In my experience the figures as quoted by BT with regard to the availability of Broadband in enabled exchange areas is inaccurate.

22. No Mobile Homes at Hideout
In October 2002, a 76ft mobile home was placed on Hideout lot 1875. This is in direct violation of the Hideout protective covenants, rules and regulations, and building codes.

24. Say "No" to Raising the Driving Age in Arizona
I do not agree to raise the driving age in Arizona. I doesn't matter how old you are to drive, it matters how mature you are. Parents should be able to decide when there son/daughter is mature enough to drive, not the law! Car accidents happen every day, but it is not only teenagers who are causing them! If you think that it should matter about how mature you are, not how old you are, to drive, please sign this petition to help not raise the age for driving!
25. WHY WOULD PEPSI ALTER THE PLEDGE OF ALLEGIENCE
Pepsi is coming out with a limited edition can with the pledge of allegience on it. This is a great idea, with one very bad move! They have decided, that they did not want to offend anyone and would be removing the words "one nation under God". This is our country's pledge. These are the words that our great grand-parents, grandparents, parents, ourselves and our children & grand children know to be our pledge and recite every morning.
I am offended, so Pepsi's goal to not offend anyone has failed miserably! If you are offended, I urge you to exercise your right to speak out. I have purchased pepsi products my entire life, but not anymore. I cannot support a company who is ashamed of our pledge in it's entirely. 26. Standardizing Nursing School Math
This petition is about disorganization of the math curriculum in the nursing department of Ocean County College. It has long been a challenge from day 1 of the nursing program. The math test is very crucial to your nursing school career. If you are to fail, you are allowed to retake it. If you fail again, you are removed from the nursing program, and have to reapply. Students are told to be self taught in preparation of this math course. The rationalization of this, is that we get a learning packet to take home and study. Also, there are different ways to do the math. So if there was a math review for the test, are they going to teach every way to do the math problem? This is a problem. Students, especially 1st semester, are very confused. Something must be done to change this. If math is so important and critical to nursing care, why are we wasting our time on subjects that could not potentially kill a patient.

28. Amazon.com Sellers' Grievances
It appears that Amazon.com is headed for becoming a greed-based .com industry that is smashing down the sellers. We are forming this petition to make them aware of the following practices that they are currently doing on line.
1. Allowing "Lowest Price" to be attached to the lowest price. WE DO NOT WANT THAT ON THERE.
2. Allowing sellers to sell their books for 1 cent. There should be a minimum ammt. for each book in terms of asking price as most of us not all on here for a tax right off and cannot compete with those who want ALL the business.
3. For Amazon.com marketplace taking the first .99 cents plus 15 % plus part of the shipping money is greed-based. A lot of the books on Amazon are sold for under $10.00.
4. In terms of Z Shops we are paying almost $40.00 per month and we are not even getting the listings out of the data base within your system and onto the site. They are being listed as "listings pending" for long periods of time.
5. You are giving buyers not only free shipping but if they buy something for $50.00 in your kitchen department you give them $30.00 free. How can we compete with that.???
6. Now you merge with other bookseller companies and most of us on here have no idea of what you are doing....merging with Alibris and Abe.....What are we to think when our sales fall like this?????
