Energy giant Shell has applied for federal government approval for 60 days' exploration drilling in an area about 50km west of the Ningaloo marine park's boundary.
Recently, we have seen failures of oil exploration and its devastation on the environment.
Australia is not short of cash and needn't allow every Tom, Dick and Harry corporation to abuse its fragile nature by moving in and capitalising on the country's natural resources.
Let's take care of the beautiful environment we have been blessed with and say no to oil exploration anywhere near Ningaloo Reef.
Jerry Jeff Walker is one of the most beloved Texas Country Musicians of all time, he has played with everyone from Willie Nelson, Guy Clark, Johnny Cash, to Gary P. Nunn, and of course Jimmy Buffet.
His tour schedule for the last several years have had very, VERY few dates scheduled in the eastern portion of the U.S. (other than a couple of Florida shows). He was born in New York, and he needs to be aware of all the people that need his music within reach.
Bringing parts of his tour is a necessity, and with this petition, it can only help to persuade him! Bring Jerry Jeff East!!!
Western Sydney needs a new theme park. Wonderland Sydney was Australia's Largest theme park in the southern hemisphere. It supplied a lot of people with entertainment on the weekends and plenty of jobs.
For 19 years Wonderland supplied the children of Sydney with a fun place to visit and explore.

Trivium have been to Perth 3 times in the past, all shows were announced as 18+, except for one, The black crusade, which was changed to All ages due to overwhelming demand.
It is time for All ages gigs to start becoming more popular in Perth, many many fans are missing out because of the promoter always choosing 18+ gigs.
Trivium could certainly fill The Robinson Pavillion, where they played previously on the Black Crusade Tour.
If you want to attend this gig, be you 18 and over or younger, please sign this petition as it will allow a much better show for all.
Singapore Telecommunications and its Australian subsidiary, Optus, have terminated the Singaporean carrier's Internet peering arrangement with the Western Australian Internet Association's WAIX exchange, citing "a global network consolidation plan".
Singapore Telecommunications had been transporting 10-15 Mbps of traffic direct beween Western Australia and Singapore, or just under 4TB per month.
That traffic is now passing between Western Australia and Singapore via the United States or Sydney, adding between 100 milliseconds and 300 milliseconds to the latency, creating problems for real-time Internet applications such as voice over IP and video collaboration.
Grand Champions are plastic model horses with brush able hair that stand about 7" that come with a variety of accessories. They were first created and own by Empire Toys in the late eighties.
In 2000, Empire declared bankruptcy and was then bought by Alpha International, of Cedar Rapids, Iowa in 2001.
Collectors and myself are concerned about the outcome of the "Grand Champion" toy line.
Many Grand Champion collectors are worried that the company may stop creating and selling "Grand Champions." We would like for this not to happen, as we love collecting these wonderful horse models. It would be a shame to see these beautiful horses disappear from the stores.

Extensive research has shown that the availability of condoms in schools decreases teen pregnancy and sexually transmitted disease like HIV and Syphillis.
Reasearch also shows that condom availability does not cause sexual proactivity among teenagers, and mainly aids those who are already sexually active.
After years of faithful service and dedication to the Western Heights School District Band Programs, Mr. Smith has resigned due to the parents who consistantly find the need to run to administration and complain and the school administration's refusal to support him as the Head Band Director.

In a matter of weeks a contract which will see the sale of the Federal Government's Comland, the owner of the ADI site, to Lend Lease, will be finalised.
Lend Lease claims the development will create jobs for western Sydney as well as provide much-needed housing.
It also claims the 850-hectare regional park, to be managed by the National Parks and Wildlife Service, will protect the environmental values of the area.
The State Government has already rezoned the land for development as well as the creation of a 850-hectare regional park.
However, the ADI Resident Action Group, wants the entire site saved. This is supported by some of NSW's top scientists who claim that any housing on the site would lead to extinctions of many endangered species.
The Allegany County Board of Education wants to combine Westmar high and Beall high into Western high. We do not want this done!!
