1. Stop Unwanted Unnecessary Packaging

Do you find that when you go to the supermarkets and shops that packaging could be minimised?

Bananas in packed in plastic bags for instance, or Herbal tea bags individually wrapped, fruit wrapped in cardboard and hard plastic (special (posh?) packs of 2 or 4 fruits) Tetra packs!

And so many more unnecessary packages, I am just naming a few.

2. Stop all Junk Mail in the UK

Having lived in Staffordshire for the last 7 years now I have seen the amount of junkmail rise and rise almost on a daily basis, as more and more unwanted mail piles through my door each day.

I know this is fast becoming a pain for many people and although you can opt out of the mail recieved from Royal Mail there is no way of getting around people walking down the street shoving fliers and menus through your door.

I think this should be made totally illegal as in many UK places people are having to pay to get rid of excess waste. I know each month I get enough junk mail to fill at least one, sometimes two bin liners full. Added up across the country that leaves a hell of a lot of waste piled up which is unwanted.

In a time where the government is being green aware this would be a perfect step on the road to controlling the UK's waste problem.

3. Support China’s Cat & Dog Meat Industry

Since we are slaughtering our COMPANION ANIMAL equines for human consumption abroad, we petition the USDA to also sanction sending all of our unwanted cats & dogs to Asian Countries so they can be eaten too.

There is BIg $$$ to be made in the cat & dog food industry abroad also....so why stop at just exploiting our horses.

If we are going to sell our pet horses for human consumption, why not include our smaller domestic pets for this sort of exploitation also?

4. Mandatory neutering and spaying of household pets

In making neutering mandatory it should reduce the amount of unwanted animals that are abused, neglected, euthanized, or dying of preventable diseases each year.

5. MAKE ANIMAL NEUTERING COMPULSERY BY LAW

July 3, 2005

This petition is to persuade all the high up people who can change things to make it a legal requirement to have animals neutered.

There are far too many unwanted animals in the UK, either soon to be destroyed or are in small pens in rehoming centres. This should not happen. By neutering animals we are stopping more unwanted animals.
