3. Stop Prosecution of Ahmadis in Pakistan

I am Ahmadi, a minority Muslim group, that is being prosecuted and victimized by masses and state in Pakistan.

I seek asylum but face difficulty in proving my case as we cannot provide excessive documentation in support of our cases and UKBA could deport us that could result in systematic target killing of us.

Recently EU Court of Justice has also recognized our miseries. I request all kind hearted people in UK to support my cause to let my family stay in UK to avoid prosecution.

4. Get SA Human Rights Commission involved!

Thousands of children are being removed from their loving parents and forcibly adopted under very suspicious circumstances by the secret family courts in the UK.

There is more evidence of very corrupt cases in the media every day and more and more people are becoming aware of the unfairness and detrimental effect the UK Social Services are having on loving and innocent families. Foreign families seem to be targeted.

Yesterday MP John Hemming appealed to parliament that this process needs to be revised and to use the Courtnage case as example of extreme corruption. The Slovak government has now become openly involved in helping their citizens in the UK, and we now appeal to the SA government to do the same to stop the forcible adoption of two young South African boys.

6. Stop Fluoride in water and toothpste

Reasons Why Sodium Fluoride is Bad for Human Consumption

Calcium Fluoride appears naturally in underground water sources and even seawater. Whereas:
Sodium Fluoride is a synthetic waste product of the nuclear, aluminium, and phosphate fertilizer industries. This fluoride has an amazing capacity to combine and increase the potency of other toxic materials.

The sodium fluoride obtained from industrial waste and added to water supplies is also already contaminated with lead, aluminum, and cadmium. It damages the liver and kidneys, weakens the immune system, possibly leading to cancer, creates symptoms that mimic fibromyalgia, and performs as a Trojan Horse to carry aluminum across the blood brain barrier. The latter is recognized as a source of the notorious “dumbing down” with lower IQ’s and Alzheimer’s effects of fluoride. Various permutations of Sodium Fluoride are also in many insecticides for homes and pesticides for crops. Sometimes it is even added to baby foods and bottled waters.

If you live in a water fluoridated area, purchase commercially grown fruits, especially grapes, and vegetables that are chemically sprayed and grown areas irrigated by fluoridated water, you are getting a triple whammy! Better skip that fluoridated toothpaste as it contains 1200ppm! Poisoning our water supply is an act of terrorism and this, needs to stop Now! A lot of people are oblivious to these acts, and it has been going on for far too long. I want to see a radicle change ASAP so this is why I am starting this petition. I think all toothpaste companies and water companies should get sued, Sodium Fluoride is not good for your teeth and is a superficial myth. It actually causes damage to your teeth.

There is a health warning on Toothpaste saying do not consume because it is poisonous and this is a small pea size amount, Yet we are drinking this contaminated substance everyday causing irreversible damage to our health and Pineal Gland.

This needs to stop now!

7. Get Fry's frozen vegan food into Sainsbury's

Consumers choose foods free of animal products for many reasons. Scientific evidence suggests the production of plant-based food contributes significantly less to environmental damage and climate change than animal farming.

Many religions require devotees to adhere to meat and dairy free diets during certain celebrations. People often choose a diet free of animal products for ethical reasons as they don't agree with modern factory farming methods. Health is another major factor. A plant-based diet is completely free from cholesterol.

With plant-based food choices becoming increasingly popular amongst UK consumers, it is time for major food suppliers such as Sainsbury's to answer this call for more vegan choices in their aisles. Brands such as Quorn and Linda McCartney have monopolised UK stores but very few of their items cater to people who want animal-free food.

Sign the petition to urge Sainsbury's to carry vegan food. The petition will be sent to Sainsbury's on your behalf.

You can also email the following Sainsbury's contact to strengthen your request:

8. Urging the Governor to act in maintaining the Integrity of British Gibraltar Territorial Waters - Defenders of Gibraltar

Since the tearing up of the 1999 Fishing Agreement, there has been a clear lack of action taken by the Royal Gibraltar Police and the Royal Navy in enforcing Gibraltarian Law and tackling the completely illegal incursions by the Guardia Civil in British Gibraltar Territorial Waters.

It is generally understood that this is mainly to do with the UKs wish to avoid any sort of political confrontation with a fellow EU member or NATO ally.

We, the Gibraltarian people, are fed up with the constant aggressive and belligerent behaviour of our neighbour and the constant appeasement and inaction by those required by our constitution to defend us and Gibraltars territorial and political integrity. This includes the complete lack of any political will to tackle the issues which constitute oppression by the Kingdom of Spain towards Gibraltar and its people.

We are British Citizens. If this happened in waters off the UK, the response would be different. This is where the Governors attitude is wrong. The waters around Gibraltar are British - if you do not enforce it as such over time we will lose it.

9. Get Bullock His Cheddar

Mark Bullock, known in our community (read: the United Fucking States of Amurica) as UK, UK Redskin, or @UKRedskin1 needs to get paid.

His work on Hogs Haven, Mocking the Draft and others is simply too good to be ignored, especially considering the state of his poor rainy country's NFL coverage. One of the largest sports networks in Britain, SkySports has some twat named Simon Veness running their whole US sports section. This is some limey douche who runs a travel site, and a blog titled "A Brit Guide to Orlando". I'll pause to let that sink in. In any case, that's horseshit.

Let's get Redskins nation together and tell those Sky execs they need to get a real American Footie expert on the airwaves. HTTR.

10. Extend Discretionary Leave to Remain for Glendon Llewellyn Lloyd

We came to the UK from Australia for a family holiday in July 2004. I fell in love with UK and decided I wanted to stay (many asked WHY !!)

My loving wife and children Eddie, Ben and Lucy are English, I am Australian (a Commonwealth county)
I made the mistake of not lodging a formal application to stay immediately I fell in love (but then who says I love you straight away!) although I had discussed with the UKBA my desire to stay and how to best go about this - I was born under a British and Colonies passport in Rhodesia (aka Zimbabwe). Following lengthy discussions I lodged an acceptable application in July 2006.

3 years of being stateless (unable to work and support my family, paid for and missed 3 family holidays) I was finally granted Discretionary Leave to Remain in July 2009.

I willingly give (and love) the 10-12 hours a week I give to my local community coaching youth rugby and football teams and acting as business manager for a local rugby club. My businesses export on behalf of the UK and pay £10's of £1,000's in VAT.

Learned my lesson and lodged my extension to remain for the next 3 years within specific, stipulated guidelines on the 15th June 2012.

Booked (and paid for) what will be our first holiday in years and am now fighting to get my visa ratified in time to allow me to go with my family.

They are telling me to wait 6 months before even contacting them to discuss it........?

Please help me!

Cheers,

Glendon

16. Release updated SDK for the Intel CE4100 Chipset

Intel's Atom CE4100 chip currently powers D-Link's Boxee Box.

There are outstanding issues with this device can can only be resolved by Boxee once Intel release the updated SDK for the Intel Atom CE4100.

This has been stated numerous times by Boxee and has most recently been mentioned by Boxee CEO Avner Ronen when asked what was holding up availability of the Netlix UK app as part of a question and answer session with Boxee users that took place on 4th April 2012 which can be viewed at: http://www.spreecast.com/events/boxeechat

At 18:14 Avner's response is:

"So Netflix in the UK, newer version of flash, 3TB drive support, those are three issues that we hear a lot, those are three issues that are, can only be addressed when we move to a new SDK from Intel and that is a much longer process than we would want to and takes much more time than we would want to and resources and we still don't have a set date for it but that's what's holding it up."

It's also believed that a Netflix app for other non-US regions can only be released once Intel release the updated SDK.

At 29:22 it's also stated that the HD Audio drop out bug can also only be resolved once a new SDK from Intel is released.

"Without the new intel SDK it won't be resolved, so its going to take us time if and when that SDK will be something that we will be able to launch I think thats the only hope to solve it."

Intel discontinued support for the Atom CE4100 in October 2011. However it was also reported that "The CE4100 will continue to be sold and supported by Intel, and it will also remain - albeit more anonymously - in set top boxes."
(source: http://www.techradar.com/news/computing-components/processors/intel-ditches-smart-tv-division-1033610)

The 200,000+ users of the Boxee Box powered by this Intel chipset some of whom are part of the 2,815 active Boxee Box Forum users (as of 19th May 2012) have been waiting patiently for news from either Intel or Boxee that the new SDK has been released so Boxee can implement fixes for the issues mentioned above and this has yet to happen.

The Boxee Box is featured on Intel's website at:

http://www.intel.com/content/www/us/en/smart-tv/smart-tv-devices-with-intel-inside.html

I believe Boxee users agree by not releasing the updated SDK, Intel isn't offering support for this chipset.

17. Ease Visa Procedures for Iranians

In recent years relations between Britain and Iran has deteriorated and finally the two countries have closed down their embassies. As a result, thousands of Iranians who have close family members in the UK and who used to obtain visas in Iran from the British Embassy in Tehran must travel to the neighbouring countries to apply.

This process usually takes two to three weeks during which they must stay in that country as their documents are kept by the Embassy before they are summoned for an interview. Many of these applicants are old parents and lack financial means to stay in hotels for such long period. Others cannot leave their jobs for long.

At present, ordinary Iranians are paying the high price of the Iranian regime's appalling behaviour and virtually deprived to visit the UK to see their loved ones.

It is my understanding that a family is a group and that the taking of children and moving them from one group to another is prohibited by UK and International Law, this is evidenced by the provision in UK Statute Law -

20. BZgA ABUSE

BERLIN, July 30, 2007 Booklets from a subsidiary of the German government’s Ministry for Family Affairs encourage parents to sexually massage their children as young as 1 to 3 years of age.

Two 40-page booklets entitled "Love, Body and Playing Doctor" by the German Federal Health Education Center (Bundeszentrale für gesundheitliche Aufklärung - BZgA) are aimed at parents - the first addressing children from 1-3 and the other children from 4-6 years of age.

"Fathers do not devote enough attention to the clitoris and vagina of their daughters. Their caresses too seldom pertain to these regions, while this is the only way the girls can develop a sense of pride in their sex," reads the booklet regarding 1-3 year olds. The authors rationalize, "The child touches all parts of their father’s body, sometimes arousing him. The father should do the same."

21. Save A Loving Pit Bull

Dangerous Dogs Act (DDA) 1991 means that it is illegal to own an American Pit Bull Terrier in the United Kingdom.

However, if the dog is not seen to be dangerous by the courts it can be returned to its owner if they can prove the owner is not using the dog for fighting, or has ill treated the dog.

The law at the moment does not allow harmless Pit bulls to be re-homed, and if the owner is not seemed fit to own the dog, the American Bull Terrier will be destroyed by lethal injection.

Most of these Pit bulls are family loving pets born into the wrong home.

Any breed of dog can become dangerous in the hands of the wrong owner, and most dogs ill treated, or in a bad environment, and even aggressive dogs can be rehabilitated and re-homed to the right owner

So why can't perfectly harmless Pit bulls find a loving home as well?

Please sign this petition if you agree that the U.K law should change, and that the American Pit bull can be re-homed if proven harmless and not destroyed.

22. BURCHELL WHITEMAN FOR GOVERNOR GENERAL

Burchell Whiteman has devoted his life to public service in Jamaica. He started his professional career more than 40 years ago as a teacher.

He was subsequently appointed to the position of Principal, first at York Castle High School in 1969, and then at Brown's Community College. As an educator, he was known throughout Jamaica as an innovative and respected member of the profession.

Burchell Whiteman began a new career as a politician in 1989 when he was first elected as a Member of the Jamaican Parliament and was immediately appointed Minister of State for Education. In 1992, he joined Cabinet as Minister of Education, Youth and Culture where he served for ten years before deciding not to run in the October 2002 election.

The Prime Minister then appointed him to the Senate and kept him in Cabinet as Minister of Information and Leader of Government Business in the Senate. Mr. Whiteman retired from politics, stepping down from the Senate, in 2006.

In early 2007, he was appointed Jamaica's High Commissioner to the U.K., and returned to Jamaica upon concluding his term at the end of 2009.

23. Free Alaa Abd El Fattah

Egyptian activist, blogger, and software developer Alaa Abd El Fattah who played a major part in the Egyptian revolution, has been unlawfully detained, after voluntarily responding to a summoning by a military prosecutor, since 30 October 2011.

Refusing to recognise the validity of the interrogation, or the military prosecutor questioning him, Alaa was faced with charges including inciting violence and theft of weapons, despite unquestionable evidence to contradict. Alaa's silence also stemmed from his belief in the huge part the military played in the killing of peaceful protesters in that particular incident.

Following an international campaign against military trials for civilians, Field Marshal Tantawi, Egypt's interim leader, ordered the case to be transferred from a military prosecutor to the State Security Court.

Expected to have been released this week, Alaa's case was rejected by an Appeals Court and The High State Security Court has added the charge of premeditated murder with the intention of committing an act of terrorism to the list of the charges he is facing.

Many believe Alaa's detention is a tactful mind game played by the military council to scare off other Egyptian activists for whom Alaa seemed embody the true spirit of the great Egyptian revolution.

His wife, Manal Hassan, is expected to give birth to their first son, Khaled, this week.

24. Demand the labeling of palm oil in cosmetic products

The Sumatran orangutan society, have been very successful in campaigning to get palm oil labeled in all products who use it. They have recently won their clear labels, not forests campaign and it is now compulsory for all food products containing palm oil to be labeled in Europe and the UK. However this does not cover all products...cosmetics are not included in this campaign but i believe they should be.

The palm oil industry is responsible for destroying thousands of acres of deforestation in other countries. Currently 300 football fields are destroyed in south east Asia every hour for palm oil. And it's not just the vegetation that is being affected! The animals that rely on the forest (such as orangutans) are affected, many orangutans have no place to go when the forest is destroyed. 20 years ago their were more than 300,000 Bornean orangutans in the wild, now their are less than 45,000 in the wild. Orangutans only give birth once in 6 - 10 years therefore it is hard for them to breed as much as they are dying out due to deforestation.

Please go to http://www.wspa.org.uk/wspaswork/orangutans/ for more information on orangutans.

But worst of all the industry does not even label palm oil! Most palm oil is labeled as vegetable oil, therefore many people are unaware that it is in their shopping products. This is taking away our freedom to know what exactly goes into our cosmetics, it takes away are choice of whether or not to use palm oil! This is wrong, they should label palm oil and deliberately point out if it is palm oil free!

26. Bring KPop Artists and Bands to the UK

For quite a while now, K-Pop has started to become increasingly popular in the UK. This can be seen by the flashmobs that are held in London, where 100,000 teens turned up in Trafalgar Square re-enacting moves by their favourite K-Pop idols. There are even regular K-Pop club nights that take place. So if K-Pop is so popular why don't we petition for Kpop artists to come to the UK.

Last year (June 2011) SM Town went to Paris and it was proven to be very successful. What's more, this is not a crazy idea that many people think won't happen, companies have been discussing this idea for a while, but they don't know whether or not it will be successful. Therefore we should show them how popular K-Pop artists actually are!

So please sign the petition! If you have any ideas on how to promote this petition further you can contact by by clicking on "contact author here" at the bottom.

PLEASE POST ON FANSITES AND ANYTHING ELSE YOU CAN THINK OF! Thanks :)

27. Nuclear Pledge

I am opposed to the building of new nuclear power stations in the UK under any form of public subsidy.

New nuclear power stations have been justified on the basis that they are the best way for the UK to:

  • reduce its emissions of 'greenhouse gases' that cause climate change;
  • close the impending 'energy gap' caused by the closure of existing nuclear and coal power stations;
  • ensure national energy security in the decades ahead.

These arguments are wrong, for the following reasons:

  1. Despite the trillions of dollars invested in nuclear power, and the boundless optimism of nuclear advocates, nuclear power is very expensive. Nuclear power station construction always over-runs on both time and cost estimates, sometimes many times over.

  2. Renewables such as wind and solar electricity are getting cheaper all the time, and costs will continue to fall for many years to come as major industrial countries - including Germany, Japan, China and USA - make huge investments in renewables to secure their energy futures. Any nuclear power stations the UK begins to build now will be made obsolete by advances in renewable technologies, long before they are complete in ten or more years time.

  3. Emissions reductions can best be secured by investing in renewable energy; energy efficiency; microgeneration; energy storage; 'smart grid' / responsive demand technologies; and a trans-continental 'supergrid' stretching from North Africa to the Arctic Circle.

  4. The predicted deficit in the UK's electricity supply can be met, and more, by accelerated investment in renewable energy and microgeneration, and by raising the efficiency of our homes, factories and offices.

  5. A green electricity strategy based on renewables, microgeneration and demand reduction is free of any serious risks or long term liabilities. Nuclear power, by contrast, is associated with many serious hazards:

    • radioactive emissions at every stage of the nuclear life cycle;
    • nuclear waste that remains dangerous for over 100,000 years;
    • the risk of severe nuclear accidents, like Chernobyl and Fukushima, costing hundreds of billions of pounds and rendering thousands of square kilometres uninhabitable;
    • the danger that nuclear power stations and other nuclear facilities will be terrorist targets;
    • the production of plutonium for nuclear bombs.

    The open-market insurance cost against nuclear accidents alone is estimated to be worth roughly the entire UK retail electricity price of about 12p per kWh!

  6. The world contains limited resources of energetically viable uranium deposits, and these will quickly run out in the event of a widespread scramble for nuclear power. No viable uranium deposits exist in the UK.

  7. Raising energy efficiency will reduce our dependency on all energy imports. Renewable electricity depends only on wind, wave, tide and sunshine. None of these need to be imported, and they are immune from the vagaries of fuel and energy markets. The UK has the greatest renewable energy potential of any country in Europe, but we have done little to develop it.

I therefore believe that to commit enormous sums of public money to nuclear power - as Government spending, electricity surcharge, carbon subsidy, 'free' public liability insurance, or other means - is profoundly wrong, misguided, reckless and against the public interest.

28. Campaign for Better Safer Roads in the Vale of Glamorgan

Roads in the Vale area are a disgrace, uneven road surfaces, multitude of potholes, poor road surfacing and poor road markings. Shoddy repairs make our roads look like patchwork quilts.

The cost to local residents in extra repairs of their cars that are affected by poor roads is ever increaseing. Recently councillors wasted a huge amount of £'s on Thompson Street in Barry, a road that was already in fairly good condition. The money could have been better spent on roads such as Princess Street which has been in a dreadful state for a long time.

We pay enough local and national taxes to use the roads but get little in return, money needs to be spent to bring our roads up to a acceptable standard. It‘s time our elected officials took action to resolve this issue to the satisfaction of those who elected them, afterall they are there to serve us aren’t they?

The Revolutionary War hurt the two, splitting them apart forever, yet now, they act as if it never happened. They seem too neutral, therefore it makes us wonder. Did they find a resolve after the Revolution or are they keeping their pain from each other?

30. Public Opinion - Whistleblower Pharmacist should be reinstated

Miss Neelu Chaudhari was struck off the Register of the General Pharmaceutical Council after a 27 year unblemished career as a senior pharmacist, for Whistleblowing.

The professional body accused her of bringing the profession into disrepute by her belief that the drug overdoses prescribed in a five week period, before her neice's death, were not errors but deliberate and should have been investigated by the professional bodies, independently of the Coroner, Police Primary Health care Trust, NHS Hospital Trusts and the hospitals.

The drug overdoses prescribed by the GP were continued by hospital paediatricians after admission to hospital and the baby was denied intensive care. She was then subjected to a secret "withholding withdrawing treatment", "allow to die" and "Do Not Resuscitate" medical opinion against her parent's wishes and without their knowledge.

The hospital doctors finally invited social workers to apply for a secret ex-parte Emergency Protection Order and Police arrest Warrant to isolate the baby in hospital, remove her mother from her cubicle and deny family visits to hospital in the last 6 days of her life.

The details of the drug overdoses were omitted by the Coroner, Pathologists and Police at the Inquest.

Neelu compiled an expert report into the drug overdoses and provided copies to the respective professional bodies yet no doctor, pharmacist or nurse has been properly investigated. Instead, Neelu has been struck off for doing what the professional bodies ought to have done. She is also required to pay costs of thousands of pounds to her professional body.

This petition seeks public opinion as to whether,

1. Miss Neelu Chaudhari should be reinstated as a pharmacist;
2. Whether the professional bodies should investigate complaints independently, promptly and without time limits;
3. Whether Whistleblowers should be compensated for their time and effort and commended for their courage, honesty and integrity.
