1. Enforce a law against Bullying 
Since the start of 2013 in the Logan area where I am from there has already been several teen suicides related to bullying, so imagine how many more we do not know about.
The bullying starts in the school yard, online and into the workplace. There is no consequences and no laws are broken when you push someone to the limit of suicide and mental abuse.
There needs to be a law in place for bullys to be held accountable for their actions if it is in the school, online or work, whether it causes mental harm or even worse death.
Bullying is getting worse over the years and all the bullying campaigns and signs are not enough and isnt working.
Children are the future and their are so many lives lost due to bullying. Bullying is harrassment and mental abuse and to inflict this is breaking the law but bullys are getting away with it.
It is bad enough to know that so many lifes have been cut short by the actions of other people and that no one is held responsable. We need to stop protecting the bullys and let the law deal with the bullys in the court with a criminal record for life.
There needs to be a law against bullying as it is a crime. Together we can all make a difference. Bullying effects us all.
Our school has issues with bullying such as name calling, threats, unnecessary comments, mean and vulgar language, and online posts.
Some of the bullying has lead to overdose, depression, cutting, and suicidal thoughts.
3. Release Adam Lanza Toxicology Reports
We are requesting Newtown Selectwoman and Connecticut lawmakers take the necessary steps to ensure that the complete autopsy/toxicology results of alleged Sandy Hook shooter, Adam Lanza, be released to the public and specifically toxicology tests that would determine whether Lanza was yet another school shooter under the influence of, or in withdrawal from, psychiatric drugs, documented to cause violent behavior—based on the following facts.
Because there is overwhelming evidence to support a link between psychiatric drugs, school shootings and similar acts of senseless violence, it is imperative that the people of Newtown, Connecticut be provided all the information relating to the alleged shooter, Adam Lanza.
• At least fourteen school shootings were committed by individuals taking or withdrawing from psychiatric drugs resulting in 162 wounded and 72 killed.
• Between 2004 and 2011, there were nearly 13,000 reports to the FDA's MedWatch system of psychiatric drugs causing violent side effects, including homicide, mania and aggressive behavior.
• 22 international drug regulatory warnings have been issued on psychiatric drugs causing violent behavior, including mania, psychosis and homicidal ideation.
• The alleged shooter, Adam Lanza, was an adult at the time of his alleged criminal acts and his death, eliminating any privacy concerns on releasing his toxicology results due to "minor" status.
• Releasing the autopsy/toxicology results has no bearing on any on-going criminal investigation. For example, within weeks of the 1999 Columbine massacre, the coroner revealed to the public that shooter, Eric Harris, had the antidepressant Luvox in his system. This information was released to the public despite the on-going criminal investigation into the Columbine massacre.
• Any failure to release the autopsy/toxicology results only serves to protect the pharmaceutical industry, not the general public.
• Release of the autopsy/toxicology results is a completely separate issue from the criminal investigation.
4. Jutice for nurse Jacintha Saldanha's death
Please sign this E-petition to call on the Australian governments, Attorney general or equivalent, to bring charges of Corporate manslaughter, against the two Australian Dj's, for there actions in the tragic loss of a Nurse/mother's life, so that her children can have justice!
5. Mel Greig and Michael Christian should be allowed on Air
2 Day FM Jocks Mel Greig and Michael Christian thought they hit the jackpot when a Prank call got through to the hospital where Kate Middleton was being treated and they spoke with Nurse Jacintha Saldanha, 46, a mother of two, pretending to be the Queen and Prince Charles.
However while the pair believed they managed something outstanding, Jacintha was found unconscious at a nurses' accommodation block near London's exclusive King Edward VII Hospital at 9:35 am (local time) on Friday. She unfortunately was unable to be revived.
We are still awaiting the release of the cause of her death, however, speculation is rife after the Prank, she was so humiliated she may have taken her own life.
I won't put the blame on the radio duo though, they were stupidly making a Prank Call and in their eyes got lucky, I am sure their followers were all laughing at the time. However, the humour of Prank Calls by Radio Hosts must be questioned as well as as the way it can affect some ones life is horrendous. It is in my view 2DAY FM Management that needs to be called to account as their Shock Jock have a poor reputation for making decisions and have made grossly bad decisions as to what they would do.
I am sure Nurse Jacintha Saldanha had other issues at the time but this poor nurse who must have felt humiliated beyond belief in the UK, realised how ridiculous the call was and how naive she was to believe such a , this is most probably the catalyst for her death be it by accident or other means.
However, as Chairman of beyondblue, Jeff Kennett said, there was nothing wrong with Mel Grieg and Michael Christian's 2DayFM prank and the radio hosts should be given support. Lifeline: 13 11 14.
6. Change and Improve the Mental Health System in WA
On the 29th of October 2012 a young troubled teenager: Alysha Devereux attempted suicide, at only 17 years of age.
Before she attempted to take her own life, Alysha recorded videos on her ipad and spoke in detail about her long and hard battle with depression. In her videos she talked about how little the mental health system had supported her and criticised the State's mental health services.
"Too old for some places. Too young for other places. The mental health system is f***ed, absolutely F***ed. It's like saying you can't have a mental problem between 16 and 18 because there's nowhere for us to put you."
Professor Bryant Stokes, who led a six-moth review of WA’s mental health services, said that because of the number of adolescent mental health patients in WA, more beds are urgently needed to accommodate these patients.
Throughout the year Alysha’s mental health deteriorated but because of the mental health system, she could not get the help and support that she needed desperately.
As a result Alysha attempted suicide twice in September and was taken to Bentley Adolescent Unit, the only secure psychiatric unit for adolescents in WA, she was not a voluntary patient.
Alysha discussed her mental health issues, accepted that she needed help and sought it out, but due to the State’s lack of resources, communication and adequate accommodation within the mental health system, that drove her to attempted suicide. If Alysha had received the help and counselling she needed, then she would not have felt driven to suicide.
This petition aims to bring the desperate state of WA’s mental health system, to the chair of the Mental Health Advisory Council: Barry Mackinnon.
We aim inform him about the lack of mental support for adolescents in WA and provide him with the changes and improvements needed in the system, and then we can hope to prevent more young adolescent suicides.

WA needs a better and more active mental health system, one that offers extensive support to adolescents suffering from mental illnesses, and allows them to feel safe and comfortable while they accommodate the centres.
More mental health centres that are specifically focused on adolescent mental health and the rehabilitation of mental health suffers are needed.
More communication opportunities for adolescents suffering from mental illnesses are needed.
And more professionals that address the mental illness at hand and work through the illness with the patient need to be available to adolescents and their families.
7. Legalize Physician-Assisted Suicide
Physician-assisted suicide is a fundamental right that should be guaranteed to every terminally ill patient in the state of Texas.
Everyone has a right to die, especially those in pain.
8. Investigate death of Chavis Martin: Arkansas Man's death is suspicious
Chavis Carter was a 21 year old black male stopped with two other white males in Jonesboro, Arkansas. When officers stopped the vehicle, they smelled marijuana. At this time Carter was handcuffed and searched TWICE! During the search, officers found a dime bag of marijuana, but are claiming to have missed a gun. Carter called his girlfriend and told her that he would call her once he got to jail.
The two other men were allowed to leave... and somewhere something went far left. Despite being left handed, handcuffed, searched two times and placed in the back seat of the car, police and Jonesboro authorities are claiming that Carter committed suicide by shooting himself with his own gun in the right side of his head. The officers on the scene claim they thought the gun shot was a piece of metal in the street that got ran over and that they found Carter's body in the back seat. Authorities have recently released a video showing how this could happen and have ruled his death a suicide.
There are so many questions that need answers...how was the gun missed during two searched? How did he manage to get the gun to shoot himself in the right side of his head, being handcuffed? Being left handed, why was he shot in the right side of his head? If he was going to commit suicide, why call his girlfriend and tell her he would be phoning her once he got to jail? How did the officers not know that that was a gun shot when it was that close to them?
Sign the petition showing Jonesboro Police that we don't believe their investigation findings and will not let the issue go. There are questions that need answers and we demand them. When is enough enough?

As a result the issue goes unrecognized.
Children's voices are not loud enough to demand their own basic rights. Which include:
The right to be free from physical or mental harm, and to receive an education which enables them to reach their potential, and prepares them for life in a free society (from the UN Charter).

Bullying ruins mental health.
Children who are bullied are three times more likely to develop depressive symptoms and NINE TIMES MORE LIKELY TO HAVE THOUGHTS OF SUICIDE.
Victims of bullying are more likely to develop psychotic symptoms in early adolescence and young people who bully others are four times more likely to have a criminal record by the age of 30.

12. Merlin and Arthur - It Gets Better
According to a 2011 report; lesbian, gay and bisexual youth are four times more likely to commit suicide than their heterosexual counterparts.
A 2009 report, quoted by the Trevor Project, lists suicide as the third leading cause of youth deaths in the age group 15-24.
Further, it has been recognised in the BBC’s consultation report of September 2010 (Portrayal and Inclusion of Lesbian, Gay, and Bisexual People on the BBC) that on the subject of the number of programs including lgbt storylines: “The vast majority of respondents thought that there is insufficient portrayal of lesbian, gay and bisexual people across the BBC with 70% of respondents holding this view.”
Given that the BBC television production Merlin is watched by millions across the UK, and indeed the world, and recognising that the characters of Arthur Pendragon and Merlin (in particular) are especially appreciated in the lgbt community; we call upon the writers and producers of Merlin to produce an It Gets Better Today video with the aforementioned characters to help combat the epidemic of lgbt suicide and the primary cause thereof; homophobic bullying.
13. Support Anti Bullying Laws for The United States
Thousands of people have been bullied or are being bullied in our country. Some of them consider a deadly choice to finish their situation because they are afraid to tell someone or if they tell someone their is the possibility that some people see it as normal.
Those people see it as normal because they also have been bullied in the past but did not make the choice that people today are making; so lets make a law that will prevent all consequences of bullying and stop bullying.
The law will abolish bullying in The United States, teach the effects of bullying, and make The United States a place where people have the opportunity to be themselves without fear of what people think of them or what would they do to them.

Former WWE Grand Slam Champion Chris Benoit is being unfairly victimised by WWE. After a 20+ career in wrestling they are refusing him entry into the WWE Hall of Fame due to a volatile home life.

15. Petition for Lifeline's Plea for Hornsby Council Support
A significant number of Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury’s face-to-face counselling and support services are at risk of closure due to Lifeline’s own crisis struggle for financial viability and sustainability. Wendy Carver, Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury’s CEO, said “It would be an absolute tragedy if any of Lifeline’s services ceased to operate and stopped being able to provide support to people in need in our own local community.”
Lifeline has therefore reached out to Hornsby Council for assistance. Lifeline’s hope is that Hornsby Council will be able to provide them with a Council owned retail property at a subsidised rent which will assure financial survival of their multiple counselling and community services from revenue raised through the selling of high quality second hand clothing, books, brick a brac and furniture. This will ensure residents of Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai are able to continue to receive the support they deserve and need.
For over 40 years Lifeline Harbour to Hawkesbury, based at Gordon, has been providing a wide range of counselling and community service to residents of the North side of Sydney with some services having between 40-50% of clients residing in the Hornsby and Ku-ring-gai Municipalities.

16. Demand NICE Remove Stakeholder Only Mental Health Service Users In Consultation Processes
The National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence (NICE) consults on new draft quality standards and guidance on service user experience in mental health and patient experience in NHS services and has launched a new consultation.
HOWEVER an interested party has discovered that the only people able to contribute are 'Registered Stakeholders'. and finding out who these are, and being able to get your views represented is a process which guarantees little, if any success.
Some may not wish to provide personal stories to Registered Stakeholders (strangers), and there is no other facility to have YOUR important views heard.
This means the results cannot be fully representative of the Service User Community as a whole and we would call on NICE to consider changing the process by which they determine and gather the evidence they use in their guidelines.
This is especially important during this traumatic period of changes to the NHS, cuts in Mental Health Service budgets and an increase in cases of mental illness.

17. Kamau Wanjiru - Arrest Killers before burial
It's apparently very clear that Sammy Kamau Wanjiru was killed in an unexplained circumstances, the Chief government pathologist has said he was hit by a blunt object which is attributed to his death and not the fall as claimed by the police.
The last people to see him alive have all given contradictory statements and the Police have been accused of not investigating the case. The mother has claimed his son was murdered but curiously, the burial organising committee seems very keen to go ahead with the burial before a full investigation is undertaken.

19. There is No Honor in Killing - Stop the Honor Killings
Honor killings are an embarrassment to humanity.
Fellow human beings are being assassinated in the most inhumane methods. Daughters and wives are being brutally tortured, stoned, and murdered by their own families, all in the name of "honor." This widespread epidemic of such atrocious acts fueled by fundamentalist thinking—dating back to pagan times—is inexcusable. Honor killings are often supported, overlooked, and undermined by authorities and persons of influence.
These murders are committed not just in Muslim countries but around the world, with alarmingly increasing rates on such continents as Europe and North America, which contain some of the most advanced countries of the 21st Century. It is a shame to all humanity that women (and some men) are subject to such barbaric crimes—threatened, tortured in agony, dying the most gruesome deaths.

- 91% of honor killings are committed by Muslims
- 81% of honor killings committed in Western civilizations are for being “too Western”
- 81% of female victims of honor killing 25 years or younger are murdered by their family of origin

20. Improving the living conditions in the Northern and Southern Communities for First Nations Families
Aboriginal people in the Northern and Southern Regions in Canada are living in poverty. Children are at risk in this environment as there is an extremely high suicide rate.
Food costs are very high making it difficult for families to appropriately feed themselves and their families.
21. Raising awareness of depression in at-risk groups
We're very concerned at the high suicide rate in young gay, lesbian, bisexual, transgender and intersex (GLBTI) people and are very keen to see them gain a strong representation in the mental health arena. In short, we want to make sure that we look after these young people.
According to the rough stats we have at hand, people in the GLBTI community are four times more likely than their heterosexual counterparts to fall victim to mental illness, including depression and suicide.
The problem is that we don't really know the actual percentage of GLBTI people who suffer, because we suspect that many of these young people don't ever get the chance to seek help. We are determined to change that.
Beyond Blue (the national depression initiative) in conjunction with Adelaide Health Technology Assessment (part of The University of Adelaide) have produced a draft paper entitled, 'Clinical Practical Guidelines: Depression in Adolescents and Young Adults.'
We would like to have the GLBTI community represented in these guidelines as a group of young people who are at very high risk of mental illness.
22. More Resources and Funding for Suicide Prevention and Awareness
I have been living with mental illness for over 20 years and have received little to no help to date. I have attempted suicide resulting in hospitalization, only to be sent home within days with no follow up treatment or referrals.
I am repeatedly told of the lack of funding and facilities available, so I have to just "get over it". This is NOT good enough! Something must be done NOW! How many lives have to be lost before action is taken?!
23. Take action against Police Chief for molesting teenage girl

Sergeant First Class Kelly A. Stewart is an Army Green Beret with multiple tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was recently unjustly convicted of crimes of sexual assault, sodomy and kidnapping.
SFC Stewart has repeatedly declared his innocence but no appeal is possible for 1-2 years. So in the meantime, an innocent soldier sits in a cell without promise of being tried fairly.
Brigadier General Steven L. Salazar will review the clemency packet sometime in December. Included in the packet will be this petition, as well as Letters of Support from friends and family, photos, awards and other materials that define who Kelly is as a person. General Salazar will then decide if the sentencing was fair or not and has the power to reduce any or all of his sentences.
Please stand with his family, his friends and fellow soldiers in our efforts to not only publicize the truth, but to relieve a little bit of the injustice that has been served to this soldier and his family.
25. Suicide Prevention & Awareness in Canadian Schools
In Canada there are 15 suicides per 100,000 youth; suicide has become the 3rd leading cause of death in youth aged 15-24.
The more the topic of suicide is ignored, the bigger the stigma grows and the higher the suicide rate will increase.
26. Protect Our Children From Bullies
My 12 year old is getting bullied at school. He has been punched in the face, spat on, punched in the back of the head, pulled out of his chair and pulled backwards off a bench. The principal said "boys will be boys".
My child has the right to go to school and learn without being assaulted! I will not sit back and allow this to happen! I'm not waiting for my child to commit suicide to take action. Please help and stand up for our children.
27. The NEW Fathers for Justice
This is a petition to help the father's out there being singled out of their children's life's by the British Court System. The Government has done nothing to help the father's and their children.
The court system stays one sided and the father's and their children are separated because the court system says so. It is never about what's best for the children it is about how to take the children's father down. This has to stop father's have just as much love and care for their children as mother's do. We need to do something to help the fathers in the UK get their rights with their children and their life's !
This petition is for all those who are great father's and deserve equal rights. In many cases it is not just the mother that is needed. A father that is caring and loving just as the mother deserve EQUAL rights to their children !!!
I am planning on taking this as far as I possibly can until there is no where to go and right now I believe our government in the UK and Canada and the States all over the world really don't see the whole picture for the father's except for them to be the one to nail in a court room even when they did nothing to deserve it except love their children !!! This has to stop !!!

New Fathers 4 Justice is administered by a group of former F4J members who have all been involved in some form of direct action. We will actively help, support, encourage and publicize non violent direct action in the name of fathers rights. We believe that direct action is the only way to keep the pressure on the Government, CMEC, Family Law system and those that support them to force a change.We will uphold the ethos of the original F4J.
This will be done by using the tragic comedy style in an ever changing methods of direct action and protest. We hope to carry on where F4J left off.
Please note that we can not offer support or personal advice but will attempt to offer help whenever possible based on our experiences of these governmental structures. Now that awareness has been achieved, interest, desire and ultimately action are now our goals
1) To build a culture of the "family unit" and promote that two parents are better than one.
2) To promote that every child needs a daddy.
3) To promote that it is bad parenting to alienate a child from their daddy.
4) To promote that it is child abuse to stop contact with the father.
5) To promote that society needs dads as well as mums. We all matter.
What We Want - Two Measures Of Reform
1) Open Courts -
To be brought in line with the crown and magistrates courts. This will prevent corruption, biasness and implement a culture of accountability to the judiciary.
2) An Automatic Presumption Of Equal Contact When Parents Split. -
To have equality, will mean that both parents will have equal parity over seeing their children. Naturally, this will be in the best interests of the child.
28. Save Vulnerable Lives, now needlessly lost

The issue of bullying has come up in many places. For example, the workplace, school, and now more than ever, online. cyber bullying has reached a peak and has driven some to the extreme:
In October of 2006, young 13-year-old, Megan Meier commited suicide a result, her parents say, of cyber bullying. Cyber Bullying Statistics
~42% of kids have been bullied while online. 1 in 4 have had it happen more than once.
~35% of kids have been threatened online. Nearly 1 in 5 have had it happen more than once.
~21% of kids have received mean or threatening e-mail or other messages.
~58% of kids admit someone has said mean or hurtful things to them online. More than 4 out of 10 say it has happened more than once.
~53% of kids admit having said something mean or hurtful to another person online. More than 1 in 3 have done it more than once.
~58% have not told their parents or an adult about something mean or hurtful that happened to them online.

30. News Papers who ever said My Chemical romance was a death or suicide cult should APOLOGISE
The Daily Mail (And a number of other news papers) is assuming that because a 13 year old girl listened to their music alot before her suicide that it is their fault. IT IS NOT! This is a false accusation because I am sure that there were things happening in this girls life unrelated to this that caused her to kill herself.
The are NOT A DEATH/SUICIDE CULT! They have been quoted to say things like "Pissing your life away on suicide is bullshit." & "If you or someone you know is suicidal get help" Then there's all the song lyrics that tell people to "Carry On" Just listen & you will have proved these stupid papers wrong!
