1. Repeal deal 
On December 18, 2009 University at Albany student, was Disciplinary Suspended from the University for two years because he was found in the possession of an alleged stolen textbook on May 9th 2009. This student had no prior infractions with the University and is one year from graduation. This student has never participated in any criminal activities at the University nor within society prior to this allegation.
On Dec. 4th 2009, a Judicial Hearing was scheduled for the purposes of him to answer the charges that he had stolen the textbook. Due to severe extenuating personal family circumstances, which led him home invariably throughout the Fall 2009 semester, he was incapable of attending the hearing to answer the charges. The board proceeded in default sanctioning him on this very basis. Regardless of his urgent family matters, he was not allowed to be re-heard by a student body. His right to be heard by an objective student body was treated as a privilege instead, taken away at their will. He advocated via diplomacy in order to retain his student right to be heard but, the University Officials did not pardon his absence.
A student and individual of good standing should be given a second chance, especially when expressing a valid reason in regards to his absence. To be suspended for a first time offense is unreasonable, unjust and unfair especially when considering he will be graduating in a year. After expressing a fundamental awareness of his mistake, Community service and/or probation, instead of suspension, is a much more reasonable, fair, just and effective manner of handling this situation.

Congratulations to Shayne for having the highest new chart entry for Stand by Me
at No. 14.
We know that is an achievement, but we also know that Shayne will be disappointed, and so are we. He is an absolutely amazing singer but the songs do not get enough people excited enough to go out and buy the singles. It also means, disappointingly, that the millions of people who voted for him on X Factor are deserting him. WHY IS THIS HAPPENING?
On the X Factor, his best performance, (except for If You Not the One, which we all agree was amazing) were all up-tempo: Cry me a River, Take your Mama, the Darkness.
We remember him preparing for Cry me a River on Xtra Factor
and Ben on camera saying, "did anyone know that Shayne had those moves?" Everyone was excited by it
he could sing
he could dance.. He looked amazing
so WHAT HAS HAPPENED?
On the X Factor tour he wowed us with his performances, especially of Take Your Mama. He was the Shayne we had come to know and love from the X Factor: dynamic, sexy, hugely charismatic. But this isn't getting across now, WHY NOT?
Then No Promises got to No. 2, most likely on the back of his X Factor success and X Factor tour performance. Three months later, SBM, is released and virtually receives no airplay. The fact that it reached No. 14 with no airplay is absolutely amazing
evidence of Shayne's loyal fanbase.
The problem is not with Shayne- he's singing is awesome, but as Simon once said, you are filling a Ferrari with diesel! The songs have to be simply outstanding to expose him to a wider non X Factor audience, a fact that you have seemed to miss entirely.
You seem to think that Shayne's audience is only interested in ballads. Do you know who Shayne's audience is? Because we are not all adolescents, or female.
Look at the other music threads on this forum. Has anyone at Sony done that, to see what appeals to Shayne fans? Although Shayne's young fans are very important and have an important part to play in his success, his fanbase is much broader than that..and yet we all want something different!
5. Keep osama bin laden's family out of the USA

Everyone knows osama bin laden hates america, so why is it that his niece loves america so much and wants to live here and have us embrace her?
She wants to start a music career. I don't care about anything this girl has to say and honestly it would piss me off to see her have any success in the USA.
Kevin Young has been the core drummer of local hxc band my dying wish, after a year of struggling my dying wish has started to make an impact on the hxc world.
Because of Kevin's success in my dying wish another band (name not listed for safety reasons) is trying to take kevin for their own.
Keep my dying wish alive sign this petition, to let kevin know we care.

8. Bring Youth Wrestling To Chesterfield County Middle Schools
Please take the time to read and sign our petition to have youth wrestling instated into the Chesterfield County athletics program. It is our attempt to collect as many signatures as possible, to present these signatures to the county school board as a show of support for wrestling in our middle schools.
What effect can wrestling have on our children's character development? Success factors in sports, or anything for that matter, are part God-given (i.e. height and size) and part acquired (i.e. endurance).
Success in wrestling depends most on acquired factors, and unlike most other sports, wrestling does not favor athletes of any particular height, size, weight, muscle type, race or social class, and does not rely on superior vision or hearing. Wrestlers learn, by the nature of the sport, that long-term success has much more to do with the investment made than the 'natural' gifts one is given. Wrestlers learn the value of reparation and hard work, and the role it plays in achieving one's goals. Wrestling provides real-life experiences that build and strengthen character.
Is wrestling a dangerous sport? There is a common misperception among the non-wrestling public that wrestling is a very dangerous sport. Perhaps it's the aggressive nature of the sport, association with 'Pro Wrestling', or perhaps fear of the unknown. Several studies have been conducted in recent years that show wrestling to be safer than many more common sports including football, ice hockey and gymnastics. Most notable in these reports, is wrestling's low percentage of serious, permanent and life-threatening injury in relation to other sports. about Risk of Injury: In summary, of the many sports your child can participate in, wrestling is perhaps the most misrepresented, misunderstood, and underrated.
