1. Remove porn magazines from shops 
Soft porn magazines such as Playboy and Penthouse and so called ‘lad’s mags’ such as Loaded and FHM have no place in our stores. These magazines are sexist, often racist and sexualise, objectify and perpetuate negative stereotypes of women.
These magazines are displayed openly in supermarkets, newsagencies and services stations, places that are difficult for women to avoid. ROAR Feminist Collective considers this to be sexual harassment of women.
The type of images in these magazines are not permitted in workplaces as they are deemed sexual harassment yet in other areas of public life no such protection seems to apply. Women are bombarded by these images daily without their consent.
2. Get bay city rollers cds and merchandise back to the stores
We can get rollers cds and merchandise back to the stores again and rollers songs back on the tv and radio stations again.
Many of you are familiar with celebrity clothing superstore. This petition is to help get them to market their celebrity clothing merchandise.
When the signing reaches 100 the petition will be emailed to the celebrity clothing superstore for them to open up their own stores nation wide.
4. There should be an Abercrombie and Fitch in Ottawa
Well it started when my friend and I wanted a job at Abercrombie and Fitch, we also want to shop ther we spent all last week trying to see if they had an Abercrombie and Fitch in Ottawa.
So please sign this petition maybe they will build one. It can help with fashion across ottawa and they have building space in about 2 months because Tommy and Lefebvre just burnt down Tuesday morning.
I walk past there every day at school and I would love to go there when I go out for lunch I only own 2 shirts and 1 sweater from there because I have to wait 2 years to vistit my aunt to leave ottawa to go to a store.
5. Bring back larger sized g-strings/thongs to variety stores!
Up until 18 months ago larger sized (sizes 18, 20, 22, 24 & 26) G-string/ Thongs were available within the large variety stores of Big-W, Target and K-Mart.
Currently this line of product has been removed from sale; only bikini style and other full coverage styles are available. This doesn't always suit the larger, more amply sized, bottom and has left a sub-sect of society having to source from Overseas; and pay additionally.
We ask for these stores to bring back this line of underwear, whenever they were in stores they always sold out, so obviously there is a market for the product!
6. Hastings MI Wal-Mart should be a Supercenter
Wal-Mart needs to expand their Wal-Mart store to include full line grocires.
7. Help Greenwood SC Get More Shopping
I am writing to the Greenwood SC residents and surrounding areas to petition more shopping for Greenwood SC. Greenwood is growing in many areas including population, neighborhoods, and companies. But the one thing that Greenwood is very much in need of is shopping and department stores.
I can't tell you the number of times I hear people of Greenwood SC and surrounding areas complaining of not having anywhere to shop for clothing, shoes, toys for kids, crafts/cake supplies, fabrics, home decor, and the list goes on and on. We have Walmart and KMart as our two largest stores and the mall is a disgrace to our town. We had more back in the 1980's than we do now.
In the 1980's we had a decent mall and more shopping than we do today. Gas is so expensive these days it is ashame we have to travel at least an hour away to get the things we need. When you do go try to find something it is impossible to find what you need and people are then forced to go out of town to shop.
I drive through towns smaller than Greenwood and it is amazing to me when I see shopping and department stores being newly built. It saddens me that Greenwood can not take this in consideration and make some changes that we are in desperate need of.

9. Weighing and paying for rubbish
As the local councils aroud England are about to bring in weighing our rubbish and if it is over a certain weight we will be charged.
We should be allowed when shopping in major stores to be able to discard the packaging especially the cardboard which is unessary to most products when bought and these should be the shops responsability to get put it in their waste and not added to our problem of recycling it.
It would be far easier for the stores and cheaper for the waste disposale to go to the shops pick it up rather than going around the streets looking for the rubbish.
10. More stores should sell roller blades
Well all the shops sell skate boards and not roller blades it would be better if they sold both.

11. Stop selling dogs and cats in pet stores!

So many dogs and cats are getting sold in pet stores. People tease them through the glass and stare at them all day. They get mistreated and handeled wrong.
They can catch a disese being there all day. They have to sleep in their glass cages all night. I think that is tourture.

12. We Want a Lidl Store in the Drogheda Area
Lidl To Open In Drogheda Immediately If RGDATA Were To Remove Their Appeal.
The Lidl discount food store has made a commitment to commence construction of their store at the new M1 Retail Park if RGDATA were to withdraw their appeal.
The people of Drogheda could have to wait for a further six months before receiving a decision from An Bord Pleanala.
After receiving the approval form Drogheda Borough Council on the 7th July last the people of the town were so disappointed to find out that RGDATA could prevent Lidl from opening in Drogheda like this."
Lidl who's closest store would be in Balbriggan is due to open in Ardee and Dundalk within the next three months leaving Drogheda the largest town in the country without a store yet again. The company confirmed through survey's carried out on its Balbriggan store that over 40% of its business was from Drogheda showing a high level of leakage from the town.
Who are RGDATA you ask?
RGDATA- Supervalu / Spar / Centre / Londis / Mace and Cost Cutters are all local members of this organisation.
Considerable pressure is mounting on local RGDATA representatives to remove the appeal lodged against Lidl granting of planning permission.
RGDATA have stated that this is a Board policy to object and lodged appeals on all applications for discount food stores that are not located in town centres throughout the Country. Why can RGDATA who supposedly represent the smaller food stores try and delay or even prevent the development of a Lidl store in Drogheda after its has the backing of the Council Planners, Councillors and the people.

15. Stop Dollar Generals Sprawl
Dollar General has a new business plan, infest into smaller cities and overwhelm them with a Dollar General store on every corner of the city. About 3 or 4 stores within 4 square miles is average.
That's not "progress" that's over flooding the market. Not to mention they are putting the stores up in residential neighborhoods.
They are buying up small lots in residential neighborhoods and rezoning the lot commercial if necessary. Then they are building about 8 - 9,000 square foot buildings infesting into neighborhoods.
This petition is to tell Dollar General that we don't want your stores in rural residential neighborhoods! Put them in retail strip malls where they belong! One is being fought in Medina, OH where the dumpsters are about 30 feet form residents bedroom windows and retail/commercial traffic will now be coming in and out of this small residential establishment.
ENOUGH IS ENOUGH Dollar General! This kind of business practice will guarantee your companies failure long-term.
They sneak into town quickly and quietly and before you know it one morning you wake up to construction equipment out your bedroom window. Watch out, your neighborhood could be NEXT! They are on the move putting up 700+ stores a year.

22. Sunday Alcohol Sales in Georgia, USA
Blue laws, such as the one in Georgia restricting the sale of Alcohol on Sundays, are being repealed around the nation. You may have different reasons for signing this petition, but the important thing is the voice of those governed by outdated laws. We've all seen the bettas in their little cups in Wal-Mart or pet chain stores. And we've seen the crowded tanks of goldfish. But what happens after the fish are purchased is sometimes inhumane.
Goldfish are sometimes forced to live in tiny "goldfish bowls" which are NOT suitable for goldfish at all. Goldfish grow to become SIX INCHES or more. These bowls are rarely more than five inches in length, and three inches in width. Goldfish produce more waste than many other fish, and these "goldfish bowls" quickly fill with waste. The tops of these bowls are rather small, and do not allow for a proper filter, thus carbon monoxide and ammonia will build up very quickly and eventually kill the fish.
Bettas tend to have just as worse a time as goldfish. In stores, many employees will tell the customer bettas will do fine in tiny cups their entire lives. Well, I'll tell you this. If you have a happy male betta, he will blow a bubble nest in the water, even if there is no female betta in sight. I have NEVER known a male in a cup to blow a bubble nest. Why? They are kept in very cramped conditions, rarely given water changes, and are forced to live swimming in their own waste. I realize many people keep bettas in their work office, but your office would look one heck of a lot better if you dished out the ten extra dollars and bought your betta a five or ten gallon tank for him to live in. One common myth is that males and females can live happily together. THEY CANNOT. There is the rare case where they can, but if left long together, the male usually kills the female.
There is also the occasional village idiot who comes up with "Betta Fight Rings", much like Pitbull Fight Rings, where they place two males in the same tank and bet on whose betta will win. Many of the time both bettas die, and if one lives, they are usually too tattered and die soon after. I ask you, even if they are "just fish", do they not deserve the best care possible? They are more than just decorations for your living room, or 99¢ you paid to play a game at a fair. I'm sure fish value their life more than just a couple of dollars.
I say to you, don't fish, like dogs, cats, horses, or birds, deserve rights, also? Should they be forced to live in dirty, cramped tanks in pet stores until someone comes along to purchase them. The ASPCA needs to do something about the inadequate conditions some fish are living in in pet stores. To "fish geeks" like myself, these are not just fish. They are a hobby, they have personality and spunk. Fish are like any other animal, and they deserve the same rights.
24. Save Fudgie The Whale!!!!!!
The save fudgie the whale petition is trying to fund the Carvel ice cream company wich is probably going to out of buisness soon. If so, The greatest icecream cake ever created will be lost forever because Mr. Carvel never told anyone the secret recipe. He died last year and the secret was lost. The fudigie's you see in stores were made six to eight years ago and have been in the freezer. If this petition is not funded, fudgie will be lost forever.

26. To promote tortoise education and humane treatment
I am looking for pet stores large (petsmart) and small to promote proper turtle/tortoise education. People are not given proper education when purchasing a tortoise or turtle. For instance I was told my tortoise could be kept in a large card board box and that since he was from Russia he could withstand a wide range of climates and did not need a basking light or uva uvb bulbs. I was also told to feed him canned dog food once a week!!! I was told when i was looking into purchasing a box eastern box turtle that all i had to feed him was lettuce and that he needed a hald aquatic hald terrestrial environment and that they do swim. I want to promote education for buyers so these wonderful noble creatures can reach their true lifespans. thanks- jen
27. We want a Manga/Anime TV Channel
Have you ever wanted a channel fully devoted to anime/manga? I have, since Toonami came on Cartoon Network this is one of our very limited access to anime except if you buy the DVD's or VHS which are very expensive and most people cannot afford to spend $40.00 on a single DVD.
Plus there arent many full devoted anime stores/rental stores in America, If you live in Tampa Bay you have the AnimeNation store, but otherwise where are you supposed to rent anime, Blockbuster doesnt supply a good choice of anime neither does Hollywood Video.

I've used ebay for years, I've seen THEM become richer and richer as the sellers get poorer and poorer. I have created this petition in an attempt to get the fees lowered.
Ebay has continually raised cost to list items on there auctions, they have created stores, bought out billpoint and paypal. They are obviously making more money off of our sales than we are. We the small sellers are loosing moneys, please lower fees or we will be looking to move elsewhere.
30. Anti Aquababies
These little boxes that are at the register at the impulse area are for people without a heart. If you have any biology background, youll know that a self contained ecosystem is near impossible. There is just a fishy or three in a box. Supposedly the fish are supposed to live and be healthy with 360 degrees of clear plastic, very little care they insist is needed, and they stick frogs, snails and fish in a plastic box and basically seal their death. This is cruelty to animals and it needs to be stopped. Ask any fishkeeper will tell you that this is not right and if you search anti aquababies, you will find many many people are against the things and I personally as well as others think they need to go.
