Behind the scenes, elephant trainer Tim Frisco instructs would-be trainers how to dominate elephants and make them perform circus tricks. “Sink that hook into ’em. When you hear that screaming, then you know you got their attention.”
An elephant trumpets in agony as Frisco’s bullhook, with its sharp metal hook and spiked end, tears through her sensitive skin. Frisco, a Carson & Barnes elephant trainer, learned the trade from his father, a former trainer for Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.
The fact is, animals do not naturally ride bicycles, stand on their heads, balance on balls, or jump through rings of fire. To force them to perform these confusing and physically uncomfortable tricks, trainers use whips, tight collars, muzzles, electric prods, bullhooks, and other painful tools of the trade.
We applaud trapeze artists, jugglers, clowns, tightrope walkers, and acrobats, but let’s leave animals in peace. Sweden, Austria, Costa Rica, India, Finland, and Singapore have all banned or restricted the use of animals in entertainment—it’s time for the U.S. to do the same.
Cruelty to animals has gone on long enough. Punishment should be stronger. Remember Jane Goodall.
Would you beat or starve your own cat or dog? Well people out there do, and some of the most likely think it's okay, mabey their parents did, maybe their best friends do it, maybe they do it for sheer entertainment.
Punishment for animal abuse should be stronger! A person who beats, or starves a human doesnt go to jail for a few years and then just be released, they are punished, so what if its not a human, most people in the US cant even find us on the world map, or know that polar bears live in the norther hemisphere, not with the penguins in the southern. If animals could talk, I bet they could know that, humans take their rights for granted, while animals are killed for sport, just trying to live, animals don't kill for joy, some people think,"well, the lions kill the baby lions sometimes" only if they arent their child/cub, lion males, in order to keep their family in charge, they have to get rid of other males cubs.
This is an issue that I cant stay quiet on, I may be this shy kid in school, but not when animals are being harmed, after all, its their world too. Remember, my hero, and idol, Jane Goodall.
I saw a picture of someone’s pet animal that they have killed and I was distraught. Many animals and pets are getting killed every year for either food or just for fun.
I hear people talking about wanting to hurt their own pets and wildlife that don't need to be disturbed. We don't think they should get away with this any longer. In America they can arrest them if they see any thing wrong with the animal. In Australia the animals just get taken away. How is that stopping people from hurting these poor animals?
The owners/idiots are getting away with it and getting more to hurt or even kill.
I feel that animal abuse and neglect should stop. Please sign this to stop animal abuse and neglect as well. Helpless animals get killed daily from abuse, or people stop feeding their animals, which also kills them. I feel that animals have got to stop dieing for no reason.
Old age, natural causes, we can't control those. But we can help prevent animal abuse and neglect, with your help. Please help.
My petition is to stop animal cruelty in south Korea, and to stop them because it is against the law. It needs to come to an end! Please help me.

First of all animal testing is usually used for makeup or medications but it is only fair to people!
We are the smartest things on the planet right? I mean animals did not make houses or invent things right? Then we can find or have found
alternatives!! Scientists have just grabbed the easyist thing they could find!

Do you want some poor animal out there to suffer all because you want something new and improved? Well thats what's happening to animals everyday, everywhere. Look on the back of some of the hair products and buauty items you use see if they say nonanimal tested.
I know you don't want your pet to die from that, so why should anyother pet? Please they need your help, so please sign the petition.
10. Stop animal dissection in Texas schools now!
I want you to sign this petition to stop animal dissection in schools. I think that it's immoral and choose not to do it. At the moment, if I don't dissect a frog, baby pig, or a cows' eye I will fail my class. It shoudn't be required that you dissect an animal.
You should at least be able to do it online! It is against my morals to dissect somthing that was alive at one point in time.
11. Stop animal testing in the UK
Please stop animal testing. Animals don't deserve to be treated this way. They have completely different DNA to us so I don't see how testing our shampoos and cosmetics on poor innocent animals is going to help. I think if they want to test cosmetics on something scientists should test them on themselves.

This petition will help stop the abuse of animals and will stop them being tested on and used for entertainment. Please sign as you could save an animal's life who is horribly suffering.
13. Help Stop Animal Labs in the USA
There are many animals who die every day. And do you know why? Animal labs. A couple of ways YOU can help stop animal labs:
1. Don't put up signs for free animals! You THINK these people will care for this litter of kittens (example), but you don't know them!

Why You Should Sign: Do you know how labs get these animals? They steal them! Imagine a little girl. Small, always being made fun of. Her only friend is a small cat. She finds comfort in this friend and often wets the cat's tears with fur. The cat lays there, understanding. One day the cat "runs away". The mother says "Honey, someone'll give her a good home". Not true. What really happened was someone stole the cat and now the cat has to suffer just for cruel humans. The little girl will never see her cat again, and never knew what happened. Do this for all those little girls, and all the others who have a animal that has disappeared.

To put a stop to Procter and Gamble (one of the worlds largest testing facilities in the world). To stop animal pain and suffering.
