1. Princes Park Master Plan petition for action
The area south of Visy Park at Princes Park (the Southern Sports Area) accommodates a range of community sporting activities, including cricket and touch rugby in summer, and soccer in winter. Council strongly supports sports participation at Princes Park, when sports grounds are used for competition and training throughout the year. Demand for the use of these sports grounds is increasing throughout the City of Melbourne and Council is currently unable to meet the demand for grounds in Princes Park.
The Southern Sports Area can cater for the demand for increased grounds and facilities for sports use with the redevelopment works described below.
In 2012 the City of Melbourne Councillors signed off on the Princes Park Master Plan after consultation with residents, sporting groups and other users of the park. The Plan includes the following recommendations:
- Upgrade sports surfaces within the southern sports field area to enable flexible community use. Works include regrading, irrigation and drainage improvements and best practice turf surfaces.
- Implement sports lighting around the perimeter of the southern sports fields in accordance with the relevant Australian Standards.
- Install a multipurpose fully accredited synthetic sports surface on Crawford Oval. This will increase the carrying capacity for the same amount of sports area. Retain sports lighting and upgrade existing boundary fence.
- As a part of Council’s pavilion refurbishment program, review the capacity of the southern pavilion to accommodate increased usage.
- Develop a new turf cricket oval to the south of Oval One. Create low mounds between Oval One and southern sports field area to provide enhanced views of the ovals. Install seating and introduce additional tree planting for natural shade.
- Upgrade the cricket nets adjacent to the Southern Pavilion.
These works will dramatically increase the quality of the playing and training ground surfaces, which all sporting groups at the park share. These improvements are long overdue for clubs at Princes Park. With the projected increase in demand for sports fields, now is the time to make the plan a reality.
Many people want Chatfield High school to have a soccer team for Chatfield.
3. Support Multisport Chateauguay
Le projet du complexe sportif soccer / aquatique serait situer a proximité de l'hôpital Anna-Laberge, derrière LPP.
The soccer / swimming complex, would be located near the Anna-Laberge hospital, behind the LPP school.
4. Support payment of fees for participating in oil & gas programme in Ghana
oil & gas programme was organized by management development and productivity institute/goodwill international group across the country for interested persons to get involved and the state promised to sponsor this as a result of oil discovery in the country
5. Stop the FFA
It is time for the FFA to stop being biased towards Melbourne Victory. It has been noted by many that they are Anti-Victory. It is also evident that Melbourne Victory are regularly assigned referees who have a bad history against Victory.
As an example, in the most recent game against WSW, the referee failed to allow a trainer on to attend to an injured player, who was later diagnosed with a ruptured ACL. This is a disgrace!
Please Note: This is not a petition created by anyone involved within Melbourne Victory FC.
6. In Support of Glamorgan Primary School continuing to provide sports uniforms for students
The Glamorgan Board of Trustees has stated :
- that it is not an option for them to replace the current sports uniforms due to the cost;
- that from 2013 all students who represent the school in a sports team will need to purchase their own uniform.
The cost of these uniforms indicated by the Board of Trustees in the quarterly newsletter on November 2012 will range from $85 - $95, but these costs are indicative and have not been confirmed.
We believe that there are alternative ways to fund a 'set' of school uniforms. For example, fundraising, applying for grants, sponsorships etc. There are parents who are willing to assist in these processes.
Parents would also be willing to pay a 'rental' fee for uniforms which would recoup the cost of the uniforms over a few years.
Many families in Torbay are struggling financially. Currently registering for sports teams is a large expense especially when there is more than one child attending the school. Netball in particular has raised the cost of registering significantly. This could ultimately determine whether or not a child would sign up for a sport.
The game of Soccer is slowly but surely becoming a new driving force in the United States. As it grows and evolves in this country on a daily basis, so do its fans. We the fans understand the science of the game as it pertains to the art of tactics, formations, and player positions and as it pertains to the National game, roster spots.
Under the leadership of USSF President Sunil Gulati and now manager Jurgen Klinsmann, the USMNT seems to be in a stalemate yet again. From a fan standpoint it is extremely disheartening. Many fans do not trust the leadership of the USSF and fear that in the coming rounds of the hexagonal and potentially the World Cup 2014 may come huge disappointment.
From the numerous internet blogs, articles etc the debate about soccer in America (specifically on the International level) is very healthy. There is debate in which fans support the work that of Klinsmann while others are extremely disappointed. But from researching multiple posts about the team, it appears that the biggest argument between fans is that of player selection and formations.
The problem that many have including myself with player selection and formation is the fact that Klinsmann has given very clear indications on how to impress him and make National team rosters, but once a team is selected he goes against his own teachings. He wants to score goals, yet he plays 3DM players, being consistent and getting club time is significant in his eyes, yet in the game v Russia he adds Agudelo (who made a difference) and Edu who has played 9min with Stoke.
8. Allow us to install security fencing at Arlington Soccer Fields
Ed Austin Regional Park offers affordable recreational soccer for children. The fields are experiencing abuse, animal waste, vandalism and motor vehicles drive across them at will.
The soccer club has generously offered a gift to the City to pay for all the expenses to add fencing around the playing fields.
We need your signature to persuade the City of Jacksonville to allow the club to erect the fencing. Again, at no cost or labor to the city.
9. David Beckham deserves to play for the GB OLYMPIC TEAM
I STRONGLY SUPPORT THAT DAVID BECKHAM SHOULD BE SELECTED TO PLAY FOR GB OLYMPIC FOOTBALL TEAM.
ALL THE WORK HE HAS DONE FOR WORLD FOOTBALL INCLUDING THE OLYMPICS SHOULD BE RECOGNIZED BY SELECTING HIM TO PLAY FOR GB OLYMPIC TEAM.
Svi Starkovi grijesi:
U-20, SP 2007 - izgubio kontrolu u utakmici Čilea i Argentine
Chelsea - Inter, 2010 - nije dosudio dva penala za Chelsea
Real - Barcelona, 2011 - loše sudio u porazu Reala
Milan - Barcelona, 2012 - Za Barcu dosudio sumnjivi penal
Bundesliga 2012 - igrači ga proglasili najlošijim sucem
USA Youth Sports is a recreational sporting league with over 5000 children registered yearly in four seasons.
We would like to form a soccer club called USA FC to represent our area, to provide a direction for recreational players to play competitively and to play in the Pima County Junior Soccer League.
It is our feeling that players and parents should be provided with the option to play competitive "club" soccer and no recreational teams shall be "harmed" while building or maintaining this club...our desire is to provide a method to further develop those players that wish to do so.
We have elected board members (13) and 8-10 teams waiting for AYSA to approve this request. We are NOT properly supported or represented by clubs from and like Randolf, Tucson Soccer Academy or the Fort Lowell SC as we are forty (40) miles South of Tucson and NOT in Tucson. The communities South of Tucson would like to play soccer during the Fall season to also play games SOUTH OF TUCSON as well as be able to call Rancho Sahuarita our “HOME” field for at least SOME of our games.
We have more fields in our area than any one area in Tucson and are currently forced to drive to Tucson for tournaments and league play.
12. Change Football Points Award System
With the current European leagues coming to a close, the nature of awarding the teams based on performance in the league system has been in use for long and has become redundant and out of time.
In this petition, I intend to introduce new points system that will reward football clubs that perform well in league games at the same time give as expected to poorly performing sides. Basically, this will create a fair award system.
Specifics include;
4points-Awarded to a team that wins without conceding a goal
3points-Awarded to a team that wins but concedes a goal(s).
2points-Awarded to teams that draw but have scored a goal(s)
1point-Awarded to teams that draw but do not score in the match
0points-Awarded to teams that lost the match but scored a goal(s)
-1point-Awarded to teams that lost a match and did not score a goal.

15. Update M.M. Robinson's Field to Artificial Grass
For years the condition of the fields at M.M. Robinson have been appalling.
Since becoming FIFA President in June 1998, Sepp Blatter has committed innumerable crimes against the sport of football, blatantly disrespecting the game, its players, its supporters, and its officials.
1)Mr. Blatters wildly inappropriate requests for womens football shorts to be made tighter border on the sexist.
2) There have been constant reports of vote rigging, financial corruption and financial mismanagement within FIFA with Mr. Blatter at the centre.
3) Allegations of corruption and financial irregularities (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIFA#Allegations_of_financial_irregularities)
4)Refusal to implement modern goal-line technology to take pressure off referees and ensure fair play.
5) More recently, remarks made by Sepp Blatter condoning racism on the football field.
Gol TV Canada has been available for about 5 years now and still does not offer their service in HD and now they are getting people to call their cable companies but nothing seems to be happening from it at all.
There is a proposal in place to redevelop sports fields in Roma Qld .
There is a number of concerns in regards to this development, and they are outlined below;
1/ The proposed development is in a flood zone.
2/ Shared facilities are proposed.These include fields, clubrooms, etc. Little detail on the workings of this club is currently available;
3/ Access to the proposed facility is poor. A considerable road upgrade would need to be undertaken.
4/ Current facilities used by cricket and Rugby Union would be rezoned for commercial development. This would have a detrimental effect on the appearance of Roma.
5/ In particular concern to the Rugby Union Club,is their requirement that as they are part of a wider competition, their homefield requirements would become paramount. This would impact on potential availability of the clubrooms for other sports, and could be cause for conflict.
6/ Council has not engaged the Community in a meaningful way. Their approach has been piecemeal and fractious.
7/ Lesser Sports such has Soccer have not been able to plan with certainty. Coupled with natural disaster (the soccer fields have experienced severe flooding over the last two years), this has impacted negatively on the viability of the Club.
19. Support for UBC going NCAA
Since 2008, UBC’s administration has been considering joining the NCAA (National Collegiate Athletic Association) as the main organizing body for the university’s varsity sports. Currently, UBC is a member of CIS (Canadian Interuniversity Sport) in the Canada West Region.
Membership in the NCAA would help UBC attract academically qualified student athletes from across Canada and the US, who would otherwise choose NCAA affiliated schools. This allows the university to build a top-tier varsity athletics program, to match its top-tier academic reputation.
A decision is expected on this matter by April, 2011, in advance of the next NCAA Division II application deadline of June 1, 2011.
20. Introduction of video review in national and international soccer games
Introduction of video review in national and international soccer games.
21. Support increased sporting / recreational grounds & field lighting
To petition the Qld Government to release an excess parcel of land adjacent to existing sporting fields to the Cairns Regional Council to provide additional floodlit rectangular sporting fields for the Edmonton and Cairns Southern Corridor communities for future sporting and recreational activities in a high population growth area.
Dan Courtemanche from MLS is aware of our group and efforts to have an MLS team in Atlanta.
23. Stop high Wages in Football
Footballers are people who think they are untouchable but in truth they need to wake up and realise that they aren't and there are other people in the world who deserve the money or at least a piece of that money, and with your help we can get FIFA to cap the wages and stop them getting absurd amounts of money.
Yet again, the voices and opinions of what make Scottish Football what it is, the FANS has gone unheard and unheeded.
Yet again, two clubs that could not care less about OUR game - only their own bank accounts - are attempting to bully every other club into bending to their will.
Yet again, the Old Pals Act, The Old Firm, are hitting, not only SPL but SFL, clubs with their big stick.
Yet again, business not sport, is trying to force the issue.
Football is billed as the Beautiful Game, the game for the man in the street.
Some modern day football CLUBS, however, seem to think that "the man in the street", the paying customer is now less important than having television cameras at their matches.
They are WRONG!
It's OUR "ball" ... and without US, they have no game! Without US, the game has no soul!
For some reason, the Old Firm are still seen as having a position of strength.
WHY?
No longer can they threaten to take their "product" elsewhere if they don't get their way.
The English don't want them. UEFA and FIFA have told them they are stuck here.
So why the hell are OUR clubs still listening to them?
25. Irvin khoza must release Ruud krol
This petition is as a result of lack of progress being made by our coach,in terms of the general performance of the team.
1. He is costing us millions in development by always offloading players from development structures of the team.
2. Millions again with players who are bought and then not being used.
3. He is costing us future supporters in that, there is little success at the team.only 2 in 10 children under 10 support pirates.as the old supporters fade, there would be very few people associated with the team.
4. He does not promote unity in the team by fielding players out of position, even when those bought for those positions are available.
5. He has compromised the style of play that the team is known for.lack of direction.
6. Does not seem to have a plan B when the initial plan does not yield the required results.
7. His team is not selected according to form.
26. Appeal to Football Federation Australia to Discipline Referees
Numerous occasions this season, bad decisions and an overall inconsistency of refereeing has had a major impact on games and the A-league.
In a sport where one bad decision can be the difference between winning and losing, referees MUST be held accountable for their actions and overall bad judgement.
27. No to commercial logo on FC Barcelona jerseys
FC Barcelona have announced an agreement with Qatar through its Qatar Sports Investment agency, which will be providing the necessary resources for the Qatar Foundation to become FCB’s shirt sponsor.
Blaugrana vice-president Javier Faus explained that the club will receive €30m each season for years, starting on July 1, 2011 running until June 30, 2016, plus bonuses for trophies won that could total €5m. During the 2010/11 campaign the club will also receive a further €15m for the concept of commercial rights, bringing the total of the deal to €170m.
FC Barcelona lost something forever: their status as the only club in top-level football still without a sponsor on their shirts. As the current coach of the Catalan national team, and Barcelona legend, Johann Cryuff said: "With this deal with Qatar, Barcelona isn't more than a club any longer, it's just one more club."
Is it worth losing your individuality in exchange for gaining an amount of money that is worth less than 10% of the budget? We think not, because this uniqueness, together with all that it represents to FC Barcelona club, is priceless.
Please sign this petition to save one of the symbols of our beloved Barca.
Since becoming FIFA President in June 1998, Sepp Blatter has committed innumerable crimes against the sport of football, blatantly disrespecting the game, its players, its supporters, and its officials.
Blatter has been involved in several scandals:
1. Allegations of corruption and financial irregularities (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIFA#Allegations_of_financial_irregularities)
2. Blatant sexism towards female footballers in 2004 when he suggested that women should "wear tighter shorts and low cut shirts... to create a more female aesthetic" and attract more male fans
3. Refusal to implement modern goal-line technology to take pressure off referees and ensure fair play
29. Keep United Green and Gold
Stretford-End.com are campaigning to Manchester United FC to refrain from using the green and gold colours on their kits until the Glazers have relinquished or otherwise cease controlling the club.
The campaign is also to signify the supporters desire to restore green and gold to the clubs official away colours after the Glazers' time at the club has ended.
Thanks to ManUtd24.wordpress.com for supporting the campaign.
30. Force FIFA to use Goal Line Technology
After the debacle that was Frank Lampard's disallowed goal (THAT WAS CLEARLY A GOAL) was shown on TV as a clear goal. This just proves that FIFA need to start using Goal line technology as an aid to officials in matches.
Situations like this should no longer be part of football, technology like this is in use in other sports, so why is Sepp Blatter so against it, if he does not want it then maybe it was time he was replaced too.
