1. Bike Lane for Longboarding/cruising 
Skateboarding is absolutely prohibited on Pacific Avenue in Santa Cruz. We would like to at least have this ordinance amended so that only trick skating is prohibited, as only trick skaters damage property when attempting or performing "tricks".
Those on a skateboard in the bike lane only wishing to get around prove no greater threat to themselves or others around them than cyclists.
We wish that skateboards be allowed in the bike lane, as long as no "tricks" are performed.
2. Petition For An Easter Bunny Film
There don't seem to be any great Easter movies and it's time this changed! Disney/Outlaw Productions have done a FANTASTIC job with the Santa Clause films and the Easter Bunny cameo's in S'C' 2 & 3 are brilliant. He looks wonderful- just like children imagine- and Jay Thomas gives a funny yet heartwarming depiction of the well-loved character.
Ergo this petition aims to convince Disney and Outlaw Productions to team up once again and give us a great Easter Bunny movie- and cameo from Santa would go down nicely too!

4. TEGAN AND SARA PETITION TO PLAY IN LOS ANGELES & SANTA BARBARA
THE SOUTHERN CALIFORNIA FANS OF TEGAN AND SARA ARE EXCITED TO HAVE THEM PLAY COACHELLA 2008 BUT WE THE LOYAL FANS WANT THE LOVELY TWINS TO HEADLINE THEIR OWN SHOW IN LOS ANGELES AND SANTA BARBARA.
5. Nate and Tay the Worship Leaders
As you may know, Nate Hanson and Taylor Reavely are from Portland, Oregon. They have both competed and been around the NCFCA for around five years. Recently, they have started leading worship for different NCFCA qualifiers and National Opens. Their recent list includes:

Many students have expressed how worshiping before speaking has placed their heart in the correct place. We hope to let this continue on a grander scale.
6. Billy and Mandy save Christmas too scary

Billy and Mandy could scare the little children.
The santa in that show could scare them because santa comes out of a coffin and says "i am going to suck your souls".
7. Safety concerns for 13th Street, Santa Monica
July 12, 2005: Residents oppose the addition of a proposed two-story parking structure at a neighboring car dealership.
Residents request that Santa Monica City Council approve speed bumps on 13th Street due to execssive speed by mechanics and potential buyers speeding beyond the 30 mph limit.
8. Santa Barbara Anapamu Bike Lane
Santa Barbara has bike paths on State and Bath. But only one street perpendicular to State has a bike path and that street is Anapamu. Yet this bike path is not enforced. Anapamu is not wide enough to allow for both parking and a bike path and the city allows parking on Anapamu. Our streets are crowded and will become more crowded as all the condo projects, that are currently being constructed, come to completion.
Our city council members have agreed to spend millions on yet another downtown parking garage, on the corner of Victoria and Anacapa. Yet nothing is being done to improve our city for bikes, walking and public transportation.
9. Relocation of Santa Barbara Comunity Academy to the campus of La Cumbre Junior High
The Santa Barbara Community Academy no longer has adequate space at its current campus, 215 East Ortega St. The School Board has decided it will no longer support and move forward with plans to expand the current campus. A option presented was to possible move a portion of the SBCA to the campus of La Cumbre Junior High. Having already experienced negative effects of a split campus this option is not ideal and is not supported.
Currently there are 18 empty classrooms at LaCumbre Junior High and existing land surrounding the school where the Academy's portables and other empty portables in the district could be moved. The campus has a auditorium and cafeteria in addition to much more adequate playground facilities.
10. Save the Santa Fe Flea Market
The Santa Fe Flea Market is a public service in four ways.
1. We can save hundreds of jobs that can generate over $1 million dollars sales taxes each year.
2. This is a retail incubator that will grow small businesses into big ones.
3. The Santa Fe Rodeo parking area is the best location in Santa Fe.
4. Our world famous vendors will serve both locals and guests.
11. Fair Quality of Life Zoning
Santa Barbara has initiated strict set-back requirements for home owners. Requirements that restrict the use of sometimes up to 25% of one's property; for the sake of a obsure definition of 'Quality of Life'. Yet these requirements are only applied in the horizontal plane and not also in the vertical plane and over all building zones. For example, a home owner and developer can build vertically, next to single story building, which cut off all 'rights of privacy', 'light' and even 'air' from their neighbors.

If restrict vertical development if two or more story structure (house, condo or office building) affects their neighbors 'right of privacy', 'air' and 'light'. Right of privacy is defined as 'can the neighbor see right into the back yard of their neighbor'.
12. SDHP Col. Juan N. Seguin Postage Stamp Project
Petition to the Stamp Advisory Committee from the citizens of the Texas And the USA for the issuance of a Postage Stamp of Col. Juan N. Seguin in Honor of his contribution to Texas And its History. Col. Seguin fought to see all Texans free and Independent.
Congressman Gene Green of the 29th Congressional District of the United States House of Representatives, Washington, DC, has introduced legislation requesting that the United States Postal Service [USPS] recognize Col. Juan Nepomuceno Seguin with the issuance of a postage stamp in his honor. As requested by Angel and Linda Seguin Garcia in 1998, Col. Juan N. Seguin strongly believed in the freedoms that we enjoy today. He was fair-minded, just, and fought for basic human rights for all people despite risk of imprisonment or death. He was one of the key leaders in the Texas War for Independence.
As territorial governor of Texas from July 1834 to February 1835, he protested the dismantling of the Mexican Republic by General Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna, and was the first to sound the alarm in response to these tryrannical actions. He renounced Gen. Santa Anna's overturning of the Republican Constitution of 1834 which had granted all citizens and subjects of Mexico their basic human rights.
13. Employees of SSBMFC want 90 minute parking
Employees of Sansum Santa Barbara Medical Clinic would like the city of Santa Barbara to open up 90 minute parking. Allowing the employees to park freely on the streets surrounding the clinic at 317 W. Pueblo Street, Santa Barbara, CA 93105.
Everyone who plays regularly at the boardwalk knows that there is something missing. Why? Because all the bemani we have, we have beat time and time again. I, among others, think that there is a wonderful solution to this; IIDX 6th mix. Sure, the boardwalk may not be very open to getting new machines, and with a justified reason; their new machine dmx does not bring it much revenue. It is basically collecting dust from all the regulars. And if money was a problem, they could sell hiphopmania and dmx. But IIDX would bring in much revenue, being that everyone would play it. Many people are getting sick of DDR, but no one's sick of IIDX, especially because it would be the only one in Santa Cruz.
Maybe people would even come from out of santa cruz to play, because I don't know of many of them.. but this is almost everyone's favorite IIDX mix *who has played it*, and it has the BEST bemani songs. Please sign to try and help the boardwalk.
