The Condo Owners Association (COA) is a participant in the Provincial Condo Act Review process. Our Provincial Government Minister of Consumer Services agrees that Property Management firms and Property Managers need licensing.

The Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO) which is a self-governed Association since 1977 is advocating for the authority to license Property Managers. We believe that would be a direct conflict of interest. ACMO protects the interest and rights of Property Managers who maintains a direct relationship with Board of Directors. The Board approves and signs substantial Property Management contracts ie. 300 suite building equates to $150,000 yearly upwards

COA believes we need a Provincial Government delegated administrative authority under the Safety and Consumer Statutes Administration Act to license Property Management Firms and Property Managers to enhance professionalism, increase consumer protection and provide an effective, efficient and responsive regulatory framework to protect Condo Owners.

Our Provincial Government has to be the Regulatory Body to ensure consumer protection.

Stop the destruction of agricultural land on the Waterloo moraine.

Taking a look at a zoning map of Waterloo from 2001, I noticed that a lot of the outlying land was zoned for agriculture. Right behind the Columbia Forest Court was a beautiful field that glowed a brilliant gold during the fall season. When I glanced at a more recent map from 2009, this same field was rezoned as land for development. For a decade this field had been owned by IBI, a development company that leased the property to farmers.

Up until the end of 2009, these farmers were growing their crops on their field, but last spring a sign in front of the forest that leads to the field announced City of Waterloo's plans to commence the construction of a trail, lighting and waterworks through the middle of the forest to provide a safe passage from the Columbia Forest Estates to the new “Vista Hills” development to be built on the field.

The field remained dormant until this spring, when bulldozers moved in and started to level it. In addition to IBI destroying the land, they are devastating an entire ecosystem, teeming with flora and fauna. Small animals such as groundhogs are being endangered or extirpated and moved to the nearby forest. This construction has damaged the existing ecosystem of the moraine, and there will be an imbalance of species in the forest, which can cause a lot of damage to the existing plants and animals.

A gaping hole in the forest has been cleared to make way for the new path and waterworks that is going to be constructed. The deforestation of ESPA 19 happened this month, in June, prior to a land bird monitoring report that was to be completed, and it occurred during the migratory bird breeding season.

My family and I would like you to help save the Waterloo Moraine that is being destroyed by developers such as IBI. The reason we are trying to protect this land is because it has a rich natural history: it was formed by glaciers thousands of years ago, and today is a rich supply of water for the residents of Waterloo. If you were dwelling near the construction site, would you want to watch the destruction of a valuable natural resource?

Please assist me in stopping this development by signing my petition, and you will be making a difference in our community for generations to come.

Dear Friend,

The leadership on Beacon Hill is attempting to open the door to predatory gambling in Massachusetts. They have refused to conduct a proper study of the pros and cons of their proposals. The House passed its casino bill without holding public hearings.

They claim casinos will create jobs. But the facts show that casinos are jobs killers and community-busters. They drain so much money from the local economy that they kill 1.5 jobs for every one they create. And they saddle us with social problems that cost taxpayers $3 dollars for every $1 dollar in tax revenue.

Casinos are not part of the solution. We can create more jobs by investing in the energy-efficient green economy of the future. Casino jobs create addictions. Green jobs give us reliable energy, clean up the air, improve nutrition, reduce chronic disease, health costs, and avert the threat of climate change.

Africa has ALOT of problems at the moment. Zimbabwe is suffering under tyrannical leadership of Robert Mugabe and is suffering all kinds of relationship problems, such as racial genocide, bankruptcy from lack of trade and constant wars. A huge part of the cause is the fact that the governments are insecure and cannot govern/be stable properly.

Stable government will generate more money for them as they will have a single currency, peaceful trade routes and less red tape. This will lead them out of poverty into a more developed society which will allow them to buy machines for farming-which will strongly reduce famine in that country! This will actually generate more money for the rest of the world and could even help get us out of global recession.

THE National Basketball League faces a television black-out by pay television partner Fox Sports after losing both the Sydney Kings and Brisbane Bullets to financial problems.

Similarly Hummer, a division of General Motors, is reviewing its position as the league's naming-rights sponsor with the NBL now reduced to just 11 teams, and with West Sydney's shift to Penrith, has no major presence in the harbour city.

A spokesman for Premier Media Group chief executive David Malone said the network was awaiting a new season schedule of matches before any final decision was made on broadcasting matches next season.

Harmison is looking to the Henderson Report, a commercial review due to be presented to the NBL to provide some guidance on how to avoid more teams falling over.

"What I expect to come out of the investigation is to have criteria set in place that will allow the teams to be a fighting chance of breaking even or turning a profit," he said.

"Whether you call it a franchising agreement or a licensing agreement, we need to develop a set of criteria that is going to stop the boom-and-bust cycle we've had over the last 30 years.

"Our sport has seen a number of teams come and go, be successful for a couple of years and then fall over.

"Whether it's due to mismanagement, or under-management or a lack of resources, we need to get to a stage where we don't have that any more.

Harmison is working on a revised draw which is to be released at the end of this month.

"But it's a fact of life and we've got to live with it. The teams that are remaining in the league are strong. They're going to play some great basketball."

Harmison said the NBL had held high hopes for both the proposed ownership groups for the Kings, but ultimately when it came to crunch time, both failed to produce the necessary backing to proceed.

"The league did make a last-ditch attempt when it became apparent that both bids were faltering to bring the two groups together, but those efforts have been in vain."

Speeding in residential areas is one of the most common sources of citizen complaints to the police. Yet because speeding must compete with other problems for police attention, problems that may appear far more serious, the police often do not devote a lot of resources to it.

Speeding in residential areas causes five basic types of harm:
- it makes citizens fear for children's safety
- it makes pedestrians and bicyclists fear for their safety
- it increases the risk of vehicle crashes

Microsoft is running an ongoing scam with their hardware game system Xbox 360. I purchased the Xbox 360 thirteen months ago for 400 dollars. Recently I have received an error from the system where it flashes a single red light and reads E71 and E74 error.

This is a very common problem reported by extremely high numbers of people all over the internet. The system seems to fail after the included 1 year warranty for many people. On top of this, there is speculation among many tech savvy people that E71 error is caused by software updates to the system provided by Microsoft.

Another error common to the system is 3 or 4 red lights coming on or more commonly “the red ring of death” which is a hardware manufacturing defect, this is covered under a longer warranty thus repaired for free. The single red light E71 error has no such warranty.

Judging from the endless number of consumer complaints I’ve found online this would seem to be a built in flaw with the system to keep revenue flowing for Microsoft.

Microsoft by their own claims has sold 28 million of these units, this is an alarming at 100 dollars each to fix an error the company is creating. The errors created by the company, should be fixed for FREE.

Upon calling technical support they have a long list of “blaming the consumer” tactics.

This is not what an honest law abiding international company partakes in.

Whether you blame the arrival of the Hamptons development for the increased traffic problems on Central Road or not, the fact remains that these problems exist and will not be alleviated by the addition of a likely 343 new residents with accompanying vehicles on the site.

I am sorry to announce bad news about South Park. There was an interview with Trey Parker and Matt Stone and in which they said they signed a 3 year longer contract after the 12th season. It will be from seasons 13-15.

There is also a problem with this because even though there is going to be 3 more seasons, I am sorry to tell you that South Park will no longer be on the air. It will only be online and were here to change it. So sign the petition.

Ok, so I'm not trying to preach to the world that ingesting animals is wrong....

By my own choice I try to eat meat as little as possible, due to some graphic
and
violent videos I've seen on how cruel Food Manufacturing Workers, are to the
animals that we do eat. To each their own.... right?

However, what really bothers me, is that now the FDA has approved cloning of
meats and allowing Biotech Firms, such as Viagen and Trans Ova Genetics of
Sioux Center, the 2 major firms in the U.S. involved, to integrate meats and
milk from these genetically identical cattle and other livestock, into our grocery
stores and restaurants, without having to label them???!!!!! Yes, we know
FastFood Restaurants are bad for us, but at least we are informed of their risks,
and we have the choice to eat it or not..... when this cloned meat, milk and its
byproducts (which includes, cheese, yogurt, icecream... and the many other
products derived or which include milk as an ingredient) are being allowed to be
intermingled with the real?

Astronomically, it really limits what we can knowingly or "safely," purchase or
ingest. I mean yes, there is always organic, however realistically, that is not as
easily accessible or affordable to the majority of the nation, which pretty much
leaves many with no choice.

Even as a very sporadic meat eater, I have a huge problem with this cloned
meat infiltration approved by the FDA. I have many friends and family, people
whom I care about and love that eat meat almost everyday.... I do not have a
problem with anyone choosing to eat meat, but I have a problem that they no
longer have a choice in where their meat comes from. And even, if I'm not
talking about "meat" itself, milk and the other byproducts are a staple in the
diet of many people in this country.

Cloned animals such as "Dolly the Sheep,"died prematurely of severe lung
disease and also suffered from arthritis at an unexpectedly early age.... and
even few cloned babies that appear to be normal at birth, we will have to wait
up to 20 years to make sure they are not going to have problems later, ie)
growing old too fast. Even a string of "healthy" clones produced, there is a
likelyhood that many clones born in the future may have severe medical
problems, as everytime a clone is made, it is like "throwing the dice." And yet,
that is what these Biotech Firms and the FDA are claiming is safe for us to put
into our system.

Though we may not see the possible effects of this in our generation, it breaks
my heart to even think about what birth defects, diseases and such, may
plague our generations to come.

And one also has to wonder..... why are we cloning meat to eat? Cloning is
actually is expensive and an extensive and time-consuming procedure, have we
injected and feed our livestock so many chemicals, anti-biotics, and hormones
that they are no longer able to reproduce on their own? It's not even so much
that my concern is that humans seem like they playing god, but in my opinion,
it seem very much like we keep sweeping the effects of us tampering with
nature under the rug and pretending that in our own little secretly, health
harming world, is nothing more than "perfect" and medically and technologically
advanced, instead of trying to solve the real problems.

I have lived at the Cypress Creek Apartments in Salinas, CA for over a 18 months and have NEVER received a Signature Required/or Not Required Letter or Parcel delivered my door. We also do not have outgoing mail service. I run a home based business and have to go out of my way each day to go to the Post Office to have my letters mailed...

The Salinas Post Office on Post Drive is pre-dating and signing the Salmon Colored "Sorry We Missed You" Form #3849 and placing it in my mailbox without attempting to deliver the parcel or letter to my door. I know this for a FACT because as stated above I have a home based business and a 14 month old son and someone is always here, and when I go and check my mail the same day they placed their "Sorry We Missed You" (PS Form #3849) it is dated the first day of delivery and that I can pick it up anytime after 10:00am that same day yet my mail is not being delivered to my mail box until after 11:00am.

My carrier and ALL of his/her replacements must be BIONIC because I don't know of anyone who could attempt to deliver a parcel before 10:00am and then run the notice down to my box, take the parcel back to the Post Office so I can pick it up anytime after 10:00am...
Each time I go to the Post Drive Post Office I get to talk to the Manager of the Day and I explain the problem but all I get is an excuse of why that particular package was not delivered.

The last excuse that I received on 7/24/07 from Mr. Glen Burks was that "the carrier for your route had a death in the family". My response to Mr. Burks was that was not an acceptable excuse for not delivering my parcel and that this was a reoccurring issue for me and for Cypress Creek Apartment Homes at 162 Casentini St., Salinas, CA 93907.

THE FOLLOWING STATEMENT IS FROM THE USPS WEBSITE:

When someone is normally available to receive par­cels, but an ordinary parcel (i.e., a parcel without any extra services) cannot be delivered on the letter carrier's first attempt, a second delivery attempt is made the next working day and no PS Form 3849 is left on the initial attempt. If the parcel cannot be delivered on the second attempt, PS Form 3849 is left at the address showing that the parcel is being held.

If no one is available to receive the parcel and the letter carrier knows that someone at the address is not usually available to receive parcels, PS Form 3849 is completed and left after the first attempt. When it is not known if someone is usually available to receive parcels, PS Form 3849 is left after the first attempt. Additional attempts are made only at the customer’s request."

I think that illegal immigrant are causing major problems. They get schooling for what we tax payers pay for and because of "No Child Left Behind" the teachers in the schools have to teach them English.

Because of this, American children are left with a lower level of class room academic skills an they are not receiving a fair education!!

The dog lot located at 5206 Mockingbird Road has been a nuisance to the neighbors of Lynwood Lakes for more than three years. The "Coon hounds" being maintained and bred for sale at this location have been the source of hundreds of complaint calls to the residents of the property, the owners of the property, and both the Guilford County Sheriff's Department and the Guilford County Health Department.

A number of these complainants have medical problems and have suffered additional problems and resultant costs associated with ongoing noise. Their complaints and the citations that have resulted from them have had no influence on the behavior of the dogs owner who continues to refuse to control his animals.

We, therefore ask that the Guilford County Sheriff's Department use it's maximum efforts to bring to bear the force of the new animal control law passed by the county commissioners last year and force the closure of this business and that associated dog lot.

Vickers Elementary is the host campus to the Children from The Devereux
Facility and the A.B.L.E program.

The children from the Devereux facility are bused to the campus from
Devereux. In the past they were taught at their campus and then at the school
near by their campus. Many of these children were removed from their home
due to special needs and have behavior problems.

The children in the A.B.L.E program are from all the campuses in VISD. Vickers
is the campus for the children in 4th and 5th grade who have been removed
from their classrooms at their school. They have been removed due to their
behavior problems and are sent to other campuses depending on their grade
level. The 4th and 5th grade children are being sent to Vickers under the
A.B.L.E program because they can not function in the classroom at their school
due to their behavior but are being placed in the classrooms with the Vickers
Students.

The children are causing education disruptions as well as threatening the safety
of the other children. Many children have left the campus because they are
fearful of going to class. Not all children have the ability to leave the campus.

We are asking that the Superintendent and the VISD school board address the
concerns of the parents of Vickers students.

1. Remove the children in these programs from the classrooms and/or from the
campus.

2. Hold a meeting ASAP to discuss what will be done to address the concerns of
the parents.

The road on Linnel Drive is at the bottom of a hill with a narrow bend cars and buses park on one side, Parking is most of the time a problem, which has be address to the local MP the council's, your move homes who own the green on the side of the parked vehicle's.

Traffic from the top of the hill come down at speed without slowing down if you trying to get to your car they just dive up on the pavement, My wife was hit last year putting are son in the car she was ok the driver did stop and said sorry, there have been vans coming down and hitting the wing mirrors.

What we want is the grass area to be made into parkin bays to take the vahicles of the road and to have traffic carming put in place on the road to reduce speed.

About 11 million people in the united states have an eating disorder. 10-15 percent of those people die from heath-related issues associated with eating disorders.

In a study of girls aged 9 to 15, slightly more than half reported exercising to lose weight, slightly less than half reported eating less to lose weight, and approximately 1 out of 20 reported using diet pills or laxatives to lose weight.

Research has shown that approximately 40 percent of fourth graders have been on a "diet" once in awhile. Research from Anorexia Nervosa and Related Eating Disorders, Inc. (ANRED) suggests that about 1 percent of female adolescents have anorexia. That means that about 1 out of every 100 females between the ages of 10 and 20 are not eating enough and should be seeing a doctor.

Bulimia affects 1 to 3 percent of middle and high school girls.

Boys and men develop eating disorders, too. Research from ANRED suggests that 5 to 10 percent of people with anorexia or bulimia are males.

With these risks and statistics in mind, would you think there would be a such thing as PRO-ED?

Free Charles Pearcy IV.

We are family members and friends who are deeply concerned about the incarceration of Charles Lewis Pearcy IV.

Our concerns involve more than our relationship with Charles. We also are taxpayers, and we are concerned about the ineffective use of public funds attributable to the incarceration of wrongfully convicted people.

We also believe the very act of incarcerating an innocent individual is morally and ethically wrong.

We, after having reviewed the available facts and information in the case of Charles Lewis Pearcy IV conclude that:

The known facts and evidence in this case prove his innocence beyond a reasonable doubt. (For information go to www.freeCLP.com)

There are wrongful convictions occurring in our courts at an alarming rate. We, as voting, taxpaying citizens of the United States of America expect our tax dollars to be well spent, and that criminals, not innocents will pay the price for wrongdoings.

We, as citizens, share the same concerns about crime that others do. But our collective observation is that the "system" is often a large part of the problem instead of being a viable element or its solution. Although the crime rate is currently dropping, the rate of incarceration in our country is rising.

Our "Tough on Crime" stance has not been a deterrent to the social problems that we have labeled crimes. Until some reason is restored concerning the number of wrongful convictions, and until we are willing to decriminalize social issues, accidents and psychological illnesses, the problems will remain unsolved.

We are seeking justice in this case, in demanding that the authorities of the State of West Virginia immediately take steps to ensure that a retrial be held or absolute pardon be granted.

Les DVP9000s sont de superbes machines mais avec trop de défauts qui rendent son utilisation agaçante et aléatoire.

Quelques problemes:
- Saut de chapitres
- Pertes de son (cela m'est arrivé aujourd'hui)
- Lenteur
- Blocages (quand vous touchez certaines touches de la TC, en cours de lecture, parfois la machine se bloque)
- Tendance vers le vert dans les scènes obscures

The DVP9000s are superb machines (on paper) with great specifications.
Unfortunately, the reality is quite different and users are facing many problems / bugs which makes the use of the DVP9000s very frustrating.

Some problems faced by users:
- Skip of chapters
- Loss of sound
- Very slow
- Freezes when pressing some keys on the remote control
- Dark images are green,
- etc

Studies show that millions of Americans (including 75 % of children) have oral health problems that could benefit from orthodontic treatment. Without treatment, many could develop more serious problems, including: cavities, tooth loss, diseased gums, bone destruction, and joint problems.

Although there is not a universal best age to begin orthodontic treatment, the AAO recommends that every child see an orthodontist at an early age. This could be as young as 2 or 3, but should be no later than age 7. Although many people associate orthodontic treatment with adolescence, orthodontists can spot subtle problems with jaw growth or with the teeth much earlier, even while the primary (or baby) teeth are still present.

The American Dental Association recommends that every child have an orthodontic evaluation by the age of 7. With early detection, many orthodontic problems are easier to correct before jaw growth ceases.


Early examination enables the orthodontist to detect and evaluate problems and determine the appropriate time to treat them. "Preventive or interceptive" treatment may be initiated to prevent more serious problems from developing. For some youngsters, early treatment can prevent physical and emotional trauma. A child nicknamed "Bucky" may suffer more than teasing. Furthermore, studies show that protruding teeth are more susceptible to accidental chipping and other forms of dental injury.

A person with a facial deformity or crooked teeth often is judged negatively not only on appearance, but also on many other characteristics such as intelligence and personality.

Studies have shown that children and adults who have teeth or jaws they view as unattractive may suffer from a lack of self-esteem and confidence. In some cases, the psychological impact of crooked teeth has been found to hamper a person's social or vocational growth. Dr. Joyce Brothers, a leading psychologist and former adult orthodontic patient, holds that the need for acceptance is something we never outgrow. An adult who feels unattractive because of crooked teeth may cover his or her mouth when speaking or laughing, and may feel self-conscious in social situations.

Naturally, one feels better when one looks better, and a pleasing appearance is a vital asset to one's self-confidence and self-esteem. A person's self-consciousness often disappears as orthodontic treatment brings teeth, lips and face into their proper positions. Although dental health concerns are frequently the primary impetus for orthodontic treatment, but in many cases, orthodontics provides both physical and psychological benefits.

We need to offer lower income families the same opportunities for overall physical health, which includes their mouth. Why when so many states have included this coverage into their state insurance policies has Indiana left it out?

Dear Ten Club/ Pearl Jam management.

This is not an easy thing to do, but you have left us, your fans, with no other choice than to have our voices heard in unison, to alert you to the seriousness of our frustration, and downright anger, with your services at Ten Club.


We are all faithful fans who continuously give you our hard earned money so we can get the benefits of the Ten Club.

If you are not aware, the reason why most people join the fan club is to be able purchase tickets for shows to see the band live. The fan club single, and the occasional newsletter is nice, even though it is called a Xmas single, and well we all know, that calling it that, is a little bit silly now, isn't it? This is no big deal though, as most of us fans out there are appreciative of the band putting out singles for us to listen to, and we know, it's kind of a joke, wink wink, at calling it a Xmas single.

The reason why this has come to this point is after years of knowing that anytime there was any news about the band, the Pearl Jam board and Ten club site would crash, it has finally reached the point of us as a collective, saying, NO MORE!

There may be many fans of the band who do not ever use the internet as a way of finding out about shows, or getting tickets to see these shows, but if that is the case, they did not join the fan club for the same reasons so many of us did. This is not about if we did or did not get tickets to the Phili show, which went on sale today August 1st.

What it is about, is the demand from each of us who will sign this, to have a message board that works for the fans. One that alerts us to news when we need to know it, and more importantly a ticketing site that works fairly, and properly when shows are being sold.

Surely you understand the demand for tickets from us members. We deserve to have our purchasing options run as smoothly as possible for the fees we pay.

I know the band may not be aware of just how big their fan base with internet access is, but they should be. A system set up like this Philadelphia buy will just not work. We are sure that the people who work at Ten Club do their jobs to the best of their ability, and they deserve to be paid for doing so. In saying that, you should know in the last two years our membership fees have been raised twice, again we understand and have no problem with that, it's part of life that fees will eventually be raised.

However in understanding this fact, we all hoped the problems of the past would be solved with the flow of more revenue being raised, instead it seems you are going backwards in your service. In doing this we thought it was the only thing the fans could do, to try and make things better for everyone.

Please alert the band to this problem, if they don't know, they should, if they don't care once they find out, then we as their loyal fans are maybe not the sharpest tools in the shed for being so, but that is a road to be crossed at another time.

Again, this was not an easy thing to do, we love the music the band creates, we appreciate all they do for us, but action is needed to correct the many problems that are associated with Ten Club and the overall Pearl Jam online experience. We all hope you take this seriously, and work to fix the problems and make this a painful, but forgotten memory.

Please use our extra 5 dollars to either hire more capable people to work on the sites, or better yet, find a server that can deal with the demand that is placed on yours, anytime anything is happening in Pearl Jam land.

We see your post, and that is a start to a better future, but we are going through with this petition, because honestly, we have seen repeated messages in the past about promised improvements in the Pearl Jam/Tenclub sites functioning better, and have seen the evidence lacking of that ever occuring.

We are having many problems at 11605, 11607, 11625, and 11627 Canal Drive in the San Souci Apartments we are having constant trouble finding parking spaces and our cars are being scratched due to construction not being finished, we have no pool, we are constantly finding drug paraphanilia on the grounds, drug dealers are hanging around at all hours of the day/night, we have had a sexual offender living on the property and weren't told about it so we can protect our children, our washers and dryers never work, plus our apartmnets have numerous problems.

The administration of Palmer High School decided to change the current bell schedule at Palmer. The new schedule would include two days of extended periods and a teacher collaboration period once a week.

Question: What is wrong with the present schedule?
Answer: The present schedule doesn't allow time for teachers to collaborate or to work individually with struggling students.
False. The present schedule gives most teachers two free periods plus a lunch period in which they can work with other teachers and struggling students.

Problems with Current Schedule:
• No time for teachers to collaborate
• No time for teachers to work with struggling students
o False, all teachers have free periods in which they can work with other teachers or with students.

Problems with the Proposed Schedule:
• No time allotted for Terror TV or announcements,
• On a block day, it is possible for a student to began,
class at 7:40 and not eat for five hours.
• Field Trips are discouraged
• Students taking classes at other schools or at a local
college will have trouble creating a schedule
• Students who are taking 8 classes per day will lose a
class, because only 7 periods are offered.
o Particularly detrimental to IB students who wish to participate in elective or extra classes.

Proposed alternate changes to Schedule:
• Retain present schedule.
• Create department wide lunches/planning periods, so that all members of any given department share a free period in which they can collaborate.

Teenage years are very difficult, school is a huge part of most teenagers' lives and is very stressful for them. The problems vary from their peers to grades and I feel both could be resolved by reducing school hours.

Most every student I've asks claims that they almost always have about 25-35 minutes of free time after each lesson. If every class period was half as long there would be just as much learned and more of an impact. Rather than have class assignments we could have homework more often. Drivers ed, makeup work, tutoring and other various school activities could be scheduled for after school.

With school not as long, students will not be as hesitant or nervous about attending school. Many students have problems with other kids or are harrassed by them so it makes more of an impact with school being such a big part of their lives. Students wouldnt have enough spare time to harm anyone if school was shorter but a student could have enough time to meet people. Most "bullies" only pick on others when they are bored or feel badly about themselves. I feel there would be less school violence, suicides, and less absences.
