Premier Pacific Group (PPG) is currently planning a major project to be built on the parcel of land located directly behind The Madison building at Doyle Avenue and St. Paul’s Road in downtown Kelowna.

The proposal includes two high-rise towers of 22 and 26 stories. It is proposed that these two high-rise buildings will have 241 residences, 9 live /work studios plus office space and could operate as a Residential Hotel. ( short term resort accommodation)

We feel that the overall project, of two massive high-rise towers, does not compliment the existing neighborhood of mid and low-rise residential and office buildings. The privacy of current downtown residents and future Monaco dwellers will be compromised as the large towers will be situated too close to existing buildings and will dominate the skyline with their disproportionate height.

The developers are seeking rezoning and several By-Law variances from the City of Kelowna.

The project also does not comply with The City of Kelowna’s Official Community Plan.

There is evidence that Carmarthenshire Council's Planning department is not acting in a fair and unbiased manner. Planning decisions are inconsistent, biased and dependant upon who you are or who you know.

If you have had a bad experience with the Planning Department please sign the petition which will then be presented to the Minister responsible for planning at the Welsh Assembly.
