Dear Fans of Pet Shop Boys and Friends,

In recent weeks all the major sites and communities of PSB fans were amazed by the guy calling himself dj Rub, who provided us with many brilliant remixes of Pet Shop Boys tracks.

These works are not only absolutely professional and giving tracks new lives as remixes are supposed to do so, they have been given enthusiastic reception by PSB fans, with so many hoping that this talented dj and his efforts, will get much more recognition than simple 'thanks' from us.

With hundreds of most devoted and influential PSB fans all over the world, we want Neil Tennant and Chris Lowe to consider putting one of his tracks to start with, on upcoming singles. As the choice for remixers of 'I'm With Stupid' neither brings us pleasent surprises, nor excitement, we are in demand of giving a chance to dj Rub to come off with his works and be included on records of our beloved duo.

Please, if you are PSB fan and happened to get to know excellence and outstanding production by dj Rub from sites such as www.tennant-lowe.com or www.petshopboys-forum.com, do sign petition supporting the idea for official release of his works. The Petition will be forwarded to PSB officials.

Your help will be appreciated. We all have dreams to come true, but this guy has yet something else, he has talent and fully deserves his chance.

We also wants Psb send to him the samples and loops necesarys and give to him the opportunity of do this remix in a proffesional studio to have the better quality and be good for a official release.

A petition to The Walt Disney Company/Buena Vista Home Entertainment to return the original English voice actors to the DVD version.

In 1994, the Buena Vista Home Entertainment (a sub-division of The Walt Disney Company) released an English dubbed version of the highly popular 1988, "My Neighbor Totoro" from Studio Ghibli.

This movie has not been available for DVD until this year (2006). This DVD version has been highly anticipated by many families, japanese anime fans, and general public. However, it was never made known to the public that Disney changed the entire voice acting cast to instead cast bankable well-known names to the characters (i.e. Tim Daly, Dakota Fanning and her sister, Lea Salonga).

In fact, the even changed the voice to Totoro! The original voice acting was very well received (what IMDB calls the 'Troma' version, but the 'Troma' version was released through Buena Vista Home Entertainment) and many loved the dubbed version.

Why Disney presumed that they needed to change the actors is unclear as well as why the original voice actors have not voiced a complaint.

So this petition is to voice that complaint against Disney and to urge Disney to re-release the DVD with the original voice acting cast.

Def Leppard are one of the many bands that came out of the UK in the wave of British heavy metal. They have been influential to us all.

Def Leppard are only one of a handful of rock bands that have two Diamond certification awards.

Sadly Def Leppard wasn't picked for rock hall induction in their first year of elidgbility.

But by signing this petition this will tell those old folks on the rock hall ballot who deserves to be on the final ballot.

Hi mates

Unless you don't know I have Aspergers Syndrone which is how I get my mad ideas. Every day I go to the E.C. which is a place for children with physical or mental problems.

The government is however planning to scrap all the special needs centers like the E.C. They say they want to help us by saying that we should saught out peoples needs individually but most of us think that there doing it to make more money for themselves. If they do close the E.C. it won't be such a problem for me but it may effect some of my friends.

At the E.C. the TAs and some of the students A.K.A. Me, are starting a minor protest and I've been drawing posters for the campeign. If you have been inspired by this E.mail then please sign my petition.

Please stop to the closure of special needs centres at schools in Wiveliscombe, Ruishton and West Somerset.

Somerset County Council's executive board made the decision to close the centres in January and the proposal is due to go before the Schools Organisation Committee in July this year when the schools affected will be able to voice their opinions before the final decision is made.

There has been a growing controversy on the situation many current and former college athletes have been put under.

College athletes are not allowed to be paid in a system that makes millions off of them each year.

The challenge and the opportunity provided by electronic democracy are providing the means by which the citizens can more fully participate in the decisions which affect their lives.

The key issue when evaluating the role of digital technologies for Democracy is how much Governments and Civil Society can learn to use the opportunities provided by the new channels of information and communication to promote and strengthen the core representative institutions connecting citizens and the state.

I believe that the subcommittee's recommendations, if adopted, will make significant improvement to the Democratic process in Victoria, enhancing the opportunities for the civic participation from the Victorian community and improving the policy making processes of the Government and the Parliament.

INTERACTING WITH PARLIAMENT

Recommendation 80. The parliament of Victoria should introduce an online petitions facility (on a trial basis), subject to ongoing evaluationas to the benefits offered to Victorians.

The Victorian online petition system should include a moderated discussion facility, similiar to that provided by the Scottish Parliament.

Recommendation 81. The Parliamentary Template for paper petitions should be amended to allow for optional collection of email addresses or other electronic means of communication, in order to allow the petitioner to receive information about the status and tabling of their petition from the parliament.

Queensland already accepts online petitions as legally presented petitions, therefore we humbly request that the rest of the Australian legislative assemblies and the federal parliment make electronic petitioning legal.

The State of Florida makes searching for biological families very difficult.

By state law and adoptee is required to petition the courts to open their adoption records. Once the adoption has been finalized the records are sealed. Most of the time they cannot be opened unless for medical reasons and even then it is an uphill battle.

I am petitioning the governor to change that law, because adoptees are entitle to know about their biological families just like everyone else.

The online petition helped our protest movement a lot and attracted lots of attention. More than 5000 people signed the petition and it was submitted to the Department of Health. We are still awaiting the final result of our protest movement.

This petition has been started by Overseas Doctors Working in UK to appeal against the new unjust rules imposed on them by the United Kingdom authorities.

This online petition will be submitted to the Secretary of State for Health by April 15th, 2006 and complements the peaceful protest march scheduled to be held by overseas doctors in London as well as the paper petition being collected by various overseas doctors associations.

Ever since the inception of the National Health Service in UK, Overseas Doctors/ International Medical Graduates (IMGS) have contributed to it by their hard work and dedication. They filled a hard felt need for skilled doctors to provide the British public with quality health care. They came here as they were promised quality training and Equal Opportunities in job selection.

Now, the UK government has introduced new regulations effective from July 2006, which has effectively curtailed all training arrangements for overseas doctors in one go. Instead of Permit Free training, they will be required to have work permit for any post they apply.

Also, employers will have the right to preferentially employ UK/EU graduates in favour of non-EU doctors, irrespective of skills or qualification and irrespective of visa status. This effectively ends the Equal Opportunities policy and favours discrimination.

This policy was announced without any consultation or grace period and has left thousands of IMGs high and dry. While some form of manpower planning was definitely required in view of the job crisis facing junior doctors, the precipitate manner in which this has been done is highly objectionable. The implications are far reaching. These include:

·New doctors who have invested time and money to come to UK, believing the promise of Equal Opportunities find that their career is ruined.

·For those already here, they will have to stop their training here halfway and go out of UK or try for non-training posts, with no career progression.

·Those who are finishing their training will find that all their training and qualifications do not matter in job selection and they will never use their hard earned skills at Consultant level.

This petition is addressed to Rt Hon Patricia Hewitt MP, Secretary of State for Health requesting her to give this matter her urgent attention.

We request Ms. Hewitt to make an urgent solution to the immense disruption to career, personal and family life which overseas doctors are facing as a result of these new rules. Many of these doctors have been working hard in the NHS and serving the British public for several years.

This petition appeals to the good sense of the authorities to :

·Repeal these unjust rules.
·Reintroduce the Equal Opportunities Policy in medical job selection and end discrimination based on country of origin.
·Start a process of consultation for finalising a consensus.

Every year over 850 million chicken suffer on KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) factory farms and in the slaughterhouses.

"Every time undercover investigators enter the facilities of KFC's suppliers, they find hideous abuse and suffering. At one KFC "Supplier of the Year" slaughterhouse in West Virginia, workers were caught tearing birds' heads off, ripping them apart, spitting tobacco into their eyes, spray painting their faces, and throwing them against walls—all while the birds were completely conscious and able to feel pain."

Not only this, but they often suffer broken bones from being bred and drug to being top heavy, (and from being roughly handled by workers). They also suffer from painful debeaking. And there is just so much more that the chickens suffer from. And "because KFC is an industry leader and they buy and sell more chicken than any other corporation they have the ability to require their suppliers to implement some basic animal welfare standards."

We must stop this cruelty that is happening today world wide. Organizations like PETA (People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals) are already asking KFC to eliminate the worst abuses that chickens suffer. But KFC isn't making any changes. So we need your help. Chickens are probably the most abused animals, and are treated horribly. There is no law against this abuse to chcikens, and we need to change that.

This is a petition for The Livingston Parish Pubic School System about removing uniforms.

In 1999 the school board sent a survey home with students for their parents asking weather or not they would like to see their students wear uniforms. The rules were no where near as strict as they are now. And if the survery was not returned it was counted as a yes vote.

Over the past five years the policy has goten stricter. The school system spends more time dealing with uniform violations then dealing with adademics.

This petition is for the removoal of school uniforms in the Livingson Parish School System.

On August 14, 1980 police officer Harry R Ryman was off duty and sleeping in his residence, located within the confines of the 63rd precinct in Brooklyn New York.

After being awakened as the result of the suspicious noises on the street, officer Ryman equipped himself with his shield and off-duty revolver and went to investigate. He observed 3 males attempting to steal a car.

Officer Ryman identifying himself as a police officer and was fired upon and immediately returned fire. Although fatally wounded, officer Ryman was able to wound one of his assailants before falling unconscious.

The suspects fled in an auto but the wounded felon was arrested when he sought aid and the two remaining perpetrators were subsequently arrested.

I am writing to you to demand change on an epidemic that is destroying families, fathers, and children right here in our country.

Simply put, the "Family Court" system as it now exists has stripped fathers of their rights to be a part of their children's lives. Instead, fathers have turned into financial pumps, living in constant fear of being dragged back into court by the mother and victimized yet again.

It is fair to say that the Children's Amendment Act of 2002 is biased against the fathers. Children aren't things that you buy off of a shelf in the grocery store. The whole child support system needs to be scrapped, and built up in a manner that the father and mother have equal rights to the child in question.

There is one judge in the family court that is clogging up the jails with fathers that don't pay support. If you take a look down the Prison Farm, you would notice that the majority of men down there are sent there by Judge Chin. It's really hard for a man to go to court and state his case when Judge Chin is leaning to one side……THE WOMAN!!!! I am a woman, and I feel that he is very biased.

This Government has an important role in changing this act. The person who is suffering through this whole ordeal is the child. It's not fair that when I go up on the Bermuda Laws Website there is nothing in there about a "Father's Bill of Rights" or "Fathers Rights". Why is it that a female has the last say when it comes to the care and control of a child? Why is it that she holds all the cards?

Fathers are not treated right in the Bermuda court system. Children need their fathers, as fathers need rights and access to their children. The Bermuda Court System needs to be changed to enable this to occur. Right here in our country, our homeland where we feel justified in wanting to raise our Child (ren) are we being stripped of our rights.

We, as parents have a fundamental right to assume equal periods of placement of our children, unless there is credible evidence that a parent is not fit, that placement would be harmful to the child (ren). This right is fundamental; not that one parent must win as a result of lengthy, intrusive and costly legal battle, or compromised simply to reach a stipulated agreement to avoid a battle.

I hope that this hits home, and you consider a change in the system. This letter will be sent to the Premier, The Governor, The Senate, until somebody in this country stands up and fights for fathers. We need to do more to make sure both parents are fully involved in the raising of their children, particularly fathers. We will start a petition, walk on parliament and call you out. This is just the beginning.

This is a petition for all the victims of drink spiking and drug rape.

If you realised your situation in time and were able to seek safety we still need your signatures. If you were not able to do this as you didn't realise what was happening, we need your signatures too.

Hopefully this petition will be strong enough to send to parliment, to police forces, to judges and to medical staff. To make them realise just how often this crime is happening.

As the home office and police forces have no figures on this crime, it is unknown how many people have suffered in silence.

100 years ago there were 8 different kinds of tigers (subspecies) - there were over 100,000 wild tigers in the world. Today, there are only 5 tiger subspecies left and there are fewer than 7,000 wild tigers in the world.

The main threats to tigers are poaching, loss of habitat, and population fragmentation.

This is a Petition to request for action on the removal of seating facilities for Rock & Pop concerts (S'pore Indoor Stadium).

I attended my very first rock concert in my teenage years. In my opinion, it was one of the best concerts that ever took place in S'pore. The energy exuded by the 1000+ fans were truly an amazing sight. It was a METALLICA Concert & at that time, they were one of the hottest Metal Bands around (& they still are!!).

Although I absolutely enjoyed the unforgettable event... but what disappointed me utterly was the inclusion of seating facilities. I was extremely surprised (or rather, Shocked!) that there actually were seats for a Rock concert. What a Travesty it was.

The seats were absolutely redundant & a major obstacle for the fans to have a great time. For Goodness sake... this is a ROCK Concert. Nobody will ever seat down during a Rock Concert.
I really do not comprehend the reason for placing seats in the main arena. I did not pay $150 to seat down at concert events. Apparently, everybody were not utilising the seats at all.
The fans were either standing or using the seats as standing-stools (including myself & my friends).

In 2001, I attended the COLDPLAY/TRAVIS Concert. The concert was excellent, but the seats (again!) were a major disappointment. Then there were also ushers demanding fans to take their seats. This is unacceptable as those at the rear will not be able to see their favourite band perform because the fans in the front were standing up & obstructing the view.

Hence, those fans behind have to stand on the seats to enjoy the concert & get their money's worth. The concert tickets cost over a $100 each & i bought 4 tickets for my friends so we would have a enjoyable night.
However, we were deprived of having good clean fun.

I understand the need to have seating facilities for shows/films, theatrical performances & plays as i do attend these events as well. (eg. Cirque du Soleil, Cabarets, etc )
Nowadays whenever there are any concerts (like the upcoming Franz Ferdinand & OASIS concert), i would think twice about spending money to attend the event where i have to mandatorily take a seat to enjoy the concert.

I'm very sure many others out there would share my exact sentiments.
Thus, I write this petition to appeal to the authorities & organisers to remove the seating facilities for all Rock/Pop Concerts in the future.
I always believe this action will undoubtedly please all fans & concert go-ers.

Furthermore, more eager fans would not hesitate to buy tickets to see their favourite artistes/bands perform.
This will definitely be a win-win situation.

The cost of setup would be lower as there will be significantly less maintenance of the seats & manpower to arrange the seats prior to the event.
Please do your part & sign the petition to put a halt to all these unreasonable decisions to place seats in the arena.
