Since the year 2000 we have witnessed 77 shootings in schools around the US leaving 165 students and educators dead.

各位記者及媒體及全體香港人,
一年多前由業主親自上庭就東大街 "露台"案件在高院進行之司法覆核案件勝訴後 (見高院判决: 案件編號HCAL 39/2010 及 HCAL 48/2010, website: http://legalref.judiciary.gov.hk), 業主根據高院判决指示再於建築物審裁小組進行了全面聆訊, 目的是審訊涉案露台是否的確是與大廈同時(合法)興建, 不是屋宇署/監督及律政署所指稱之"其後加建/僭建", 由於牽涉50年前建築物, 案情複雜, 經過審裁小組數番聆訊, 至今天才有判决, 業主並再次獲得勝訴 (見附上之審裁小組判决)。 涉案業主為了香港人之公義及公平與政府抗衡了4年多, 終於在今天得以沉冤得雪, 證明了涉案露台的確是發出入伙紙之前合法原建的, 並不是屋宇署所指控之 “後加” 或 "僭建"的。
而香港4千多幢50多年前興建的舊樓之中類似建築物多不勝數, 雖然圖則中沒有顯示, 但都是在當年生效的建築物條例下及與本案同樣情况下合法建成, 然而甚多(數以百或千計之類似建築物) 都遭到屋宇署/監督冤枉為 “僭建物”, 理由是根據現行建築物條例 “圖則上沒有顯示該些建築物, 因此是僭建的, 必須被清拆”, 並向有關之業主發出清拆令, 業主不懂法律及工程技術, 加上是50多年前之事, 擧證艱難, 因此苦不堪言, 唯有逆來順受。 監督並曾經於大約十多年前(在明知是原建情况下)堅持向另一大廈(筲箕灣大廈)與本案同樣情况下建成的同樣(懸臂式)結構露台數次發出清拆令, 要求清拆 “圖則上沒有顯示之建築物”, 正因為該原建露台結構與大廈其他主體互相支撑, 加上“沒有圖則上顯示”, 因此該清拆命令(若執行的話)則會傷及樓宇主體, 亦因此險些造成了結構性樓宇倒塌事件(e.g. 類似“馬頭圍道塌樓”事件), 幸好該大廈有住客是資深工程人仕並數次阻止監督執行/發出該命令, 才幸免了一場塌樓災難。監督曾經三次向該露台單位發出清拆令, 並三次撤回命令, 可見用現時生效的建築物條例第十四條(有關圖則為準則之條例) 並不適用於五十年前(根據1955年建築物條例第9條) 所興建的建築物, 監督理應立即停止向該類型(懸臂式石屎結構之露台及簷蓬)建築物發出清拆命令, 並應該立即撤回所有經已(向該類型建築物所)發出之清拆命令.
在此請各媒體/所有香港人將本案勝訴結果公諸於世, 阻止官商勾結, 及阻止官方以市區重建為名, 惘顧樓宇安全, 向舊樓小業主濫發清拆令! 並為這些被冤枉的業主說句公道話, 及鼓勵香港人永不放棄, 以及繼續維護香港法治, 謝謝!

3. Get Mariska Hargitay to Host SNL (2012 Petition)
Mariska Hargitay, 48, is primarily known for her role as Detective Olivia Benson on NBC's long running Law & Order spinoff, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit, as well as a passionate advocate working for victims of sexual abuse.
But as has been said by countless acquaintances, coworkers and other comedic television personalities as someone who in real life, is more suited to the hilarious exploits of SNL. And if you have ever seen an interview, written or filmed, you'll know this is fact.
And in fact, It would be a complete injustice to deprive the world of her talent for any longer.

4. Scrap or revise the Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Act 1901
The Commonwealth of Australia Constitution Act of 1901 is a foundation document enacted by the British Parliament.
Only 8 referendums have been successful in over the 110 years the Constitution has operated. The Constitution today had been marginalized by legislative superiority.

The Constitution contains may archaic and incompatible sections to Common and Natural laws.
5. Amendment to the constitution of the Order of Canada
Before 1981 there were no honorary appointments to the Order of Canada, however the constitution was reviewed and amendments were applied. As currently honorary appointments to the Order of Canada are awarded.
In 1970 the constitution was reviewed, the advisory council considered amending the constitution of the Order of Canada, to allow the appointment of individuals posthumously "in exceptional cases". However the cabinet never did rule, instead the cabinet requested the matter be referred to the working group of Honours, where the request quickly lost momentum and was dropped.
6. Keep "Law and Order: Criminal Intent"
The series finale of "Law and Order: Criminal Intent" will be airing Sunday, June 26, 2011. The ratings are gradually getting better. The return of Vincent D'Onofrio and Kathryn Erbe has returned "CI" to it's early glory days. We can't let the best "Law and Order" go away.

7. Save Elizabeth Bradford Holbrooks Stone Panels From Demolition
In 1954 the Canadian noted Canadian sculptor Elizabeth Bradford Holbrook was commissioned by the government to create 8 large relief stone panels for the facade of the Federal Building in downtown Hamilton, Ontario.
These works of art today are regarded as historically significant as they depict the then thriving wildlife and industry in Canada. Images carved by Holbrook include the now endangered species of the Caribou, Grizzly Bear and Beaver as well as threatened industries such as cod fishing, mining and lumbering. All once a vital part of our nations history and still today topics of relevant concern.
Mr. Vranich, President of Burlington-based Vrancor Group, bought the federal building in 2004 for a condo project, but the structure has been vacant since. In 2008 the city took back a $4 million renewal loan after Vranich failed to move on the project. In 2009, he and his company were fined after pleading guilty to breaching fire regulations by using the building to illegally store propane tanks, carpets, mattresses and wooden furniture.
On January 13th Mr. Vranich issued a permit to have the former Federal Building and its sculptures by Elizabeth Bradford Holbrook demolished. Clearly Mr. Vranich does not understand the hisotrical or cultural importance of the stone sculptures created by Dr. Holbrook who received the Order of Canada for her contributions to Canadian art.
City officials say unless Vranich is willing to negotiate removal of the sculptures, there's nothing they can do because the building is not protected by a heritage designation. The only real hurdle stopping the wrecking crew is a requirement he give the city 60 days written notice of its demolition.
We need to strongly request that the City of Hamilton designate the former Federal Building with Heritage Designation to prevent these works of art to be lost forever.
8. Waiver the requirement for an acoustic assessment for properties near light rail
In order to get a construction certificate for properties near the rail corridor, home owners in NSW currently need to get an acoustics assessment The Department of Planning applies this condition to all properties near the rail corridor regardless of the type of rail operating. In the "Development Near Rail Corridors and Busy Roads Interim Guidelines 2007", it is stated that ‘The impact from railway depends on a range of factors including train type.’(p14).
However, The Department of planning does not make any distinction between the different types of rail in practical application. Therefore an acoustic assessment is required by anyone who wants to develop a property located near rail regardless of the type of rail it is.
This requirement is excessive in the case of light rail as the noise generated by light rail is significantly less than other types of rail.
9. The Irish Government ran a fraudulent and illegal campaign for the Lisbon Treaty
The facts outlined below will prove that the Lisbon Treaty Referendum of 2/10/09 is Null and Void under Irish and European law. I present two separate points that shall subsequently be proven:
I. Numerous violations of Irish Referendum law and discrepancies that call into question the security and validity of the votes themselves, default the Irish vote to the result of the last Referendum on the Lisbon Treaty.
II. The Irish Government, alongside the European Commission ran a fraudulent and illegal campaign for the Lisbon Treaty Referendum.

10. Immigration Clinic at Wash U
Over the years, students have informally voiced their desire to add an Immigration Clinic to Wash U's top-rated clinical program. Considering the large number of potential clients in the St. Louis area and the enthusiastic student response, it is unclear why the law school has not moved on this.

For years now My husband has been fighting to see his son. His name was not put on the birth certificate as the father but yet he is still responsible to pay child support, and yet he is not allowed to see him. He has a court order to see him but the mother doesn't allow it. Yet she still wants the money.
The child does not know my husband is his father, he does not call him dad, nor does he want to come here. He calls another man dad. I believe that in a case like this why should we have to pay for a child we have nothing to do with?
12. Bring more jobs to Michigan City
All we have here in Michigan City is just store and restaurant jobs and that's it.
What we need in Michigan City are more factories so that people will be better able to support their families.
And these college kids will have to go out of town in order to procure employment opportunities.
We need to procure more industry in this town so our young people attending college will have something to come home to.
And we need to procure better housing and employment opportunities for our most disadvantaged and destitute citizens of our community.
And we also need to obtain better housing and employment opportunities for our elderly and disabled residents as well.

14. Revoke laws protecting criminals from prosecution
CALIFORNIA PENAL CODE CPC 148.5 (e) DOES STATE that mandatory reporters of abuse (child, elder, dependent adults) of KNOWINGLY (i.e. deliberately, intentionally, purposefully) making a FALSE REPORT OF CRIME can NOT be prosecuted under that chapter of law.
Diligent searching of California Penal Codes reveals that there is apparently NO other section of law under which such prosecution is mandated or authorized.
American law does not recognize legal insulation of acknowledged criminals from prosecution.
15. Sagar and Vidya CANNOT die!!!!!
Based on several articles posted on various websites, it has been confirmed that Banoo Mein Teri Dulhann is soon to go through another emotional phase where the two main leads Sagar and Vidya will face death.
The current track involves Sagar teaming up with Vidya after finding out the true colors of his evil sister Sindoora, who want to kill him in order to have control over the wealth of the house.
Sagar is acting like a mentally challenged child in order to trap Sindoora and take revenge over her for all her cruel tactics. In a time span of 2 weeks, Sagar and Vidya will both die and later be reborn, as the new story track will follow that of the film "Om Shanti Om."
16. Save Democracy, Save Pakistan
Center for Media and Democracy (CMD), a non government, non-profit organization working for the development of independent media and strengthening of democratic institutions as well as civil society in Pakistan, has issued a resolution condemning the tragic assassination of PPP chairperson and former Prime Minister of Pakistan Ms Benazir Bhutto.
In the petition (attached with), CMD has raised concerns regarding post-assassination law and order situation. The resolution demands independent probe into the assassination of Ms Bhutto.
CMD, a torch bearer of fundamental human rights, will try its best to keep you updated about the changing political situation in Pakistan whereas the visit of CMD International Election Observer Group to Pakistan would be rescheduled as soon as election issue is resolved.
You are requested to send us your comments, suggestions and opinions regarding catastrophic situation in Pakistan. It is also an open question how Pakistan can make over its fight against terrorism and how the democratic process can be taken forward in this country.

On April 1, 2007 the City of Charlotte lost two fine police Officers...Officer Sean Clark and Officer Jeff Shelton. As a city we stopped to mourn the loss of two men who gave their lives protecting ours. Now...we come together to honor all our Police Officers who have given their lives in the line of duty, and all those who put on the uniform and would lay down their lives for you and me, each and every daywithout thought or consideration for their own safety or lives. Please take a moment and think about such selflessness.
We will be meeting with Officials from the Charlotte Mecklenburg Police Department and the Mecklenburg County Parks Department to determine an appropriate location and time line for a park within Mecklenburg County to honor all of our CMPD Officers who have given their lives for our freedom.
We may need paper petitions in the future, however, at this time, we just ask that you show your support to the Officers families and all our police by by signing the on-line petition.

18. BUILD MORE PRISONS - LOCK UP MORE CRIMINALS
In the UK, if you commit a crime and are sent to prison, you will probably only serve a fraction of your sentence before being released to help our overcrowded prison system. Why are our prisons overcrowded? Because we don't have enough of them. The message at the moment is clear - commit the crime, and don't do the time.
Gordon Brown says he wants to be more in touch with the people, so here is our chance to tell him we have had enough of lawlessness. We want our criminals to be punished. To be locked up, to serve the FULL term of their sentences.
If we can't afford prisons with state of the art TVs, computers and games consoles, how about just building some basic prisons instead? The cost of keeping prisoners locked up is astronomic - so let's just cut back on their luxuries. Prison should be a deterrent, not a lifestyle choice.
How many new prisons do we need? As many as are necessary. 9000 new prison places is clearly inadequate.
19. STATE OF NORTH CAROLINA IN THE DISTRICT COURT COUNTY
Whenever a petition for adoption of a minor is filed, the court shall order a report to the court made to assist the court to determine if the proposed adoption of the minor by the petitioner is in the minor's best interest.
Consistent with G.S. 48-1-109, the court shall order the report to be prepared.
20. Promote Monty Panesar in the batting order for England and Wales Cricket team
This petition highlights the plight of one of the better batsmen in ECB playing eleven. The name of the player is Mr. Madhusudan Singh Panesar aka Monty Panesar .
It has been observed by the English cricket fans that Mr Monty Panesar never gets a chance to bat at the position suitable of his batting potential. Mr Panesar has proved time an again that he is one of the better batsmen in the English team and does not deserve to go at no. 11.

A new logo has been unveiled for the London 2012 Olympics. I and many others feel it is an embarrassment and portrays our country in the worst possible way.
As a matter of damage limitation, pressure should be maintained in order to bring about the replacement of the logo as soon as possible. This would show the rest of the world that the people of Britain will not put up with such rubbish and that they are listened to.
22. Petition Against Deletion Of IMVU Mature Products from User Accounts
Summary:
IMVU is going to render products that only AP Pass holders can use unusable, after a significant amount of community members have purchased it with their own money. It is an error on their end they have not fixed and once fixed, will make a large amount of product unavailable to users who have purchased them with credits, which are bought with money.
IMVU AP Holders do not want this happen. AP Holders cannot trade or sell these items. AP Holders can only use these items with other AP holders.
AP Holders are going to be the ones who will suffer the consequences by losing out on product they honestly came by because it was sold in the catalog. AP Holders should not be the ones punished for select individuals who abused the system by selling Mature products either through the regular IMVU purchasing procedures or via another off-site website.

23. Remove Jeff Edmonds' Dog Lot
The dog lot located at 5206 Mockingbird Road has been a nuisance to the neighbors of Lynwood Lakes for more than three years. The "Coon hounds" being maintained and bred for sale at this location have been the source of hundreds of complaint calls to the residents of the property, the owners of the property, and both the Guilford County Sheriff's Department and the Guilford County Health Department.
A number of these complainants have medical problems and have suffered additional problems and resultant costs associated with ongoing noise. Their complaints and the citations that have resulted from them have had no influence on the behavior of the dogs owner who continues to refuse to control his animals.
We, therefore ask that the Guilford County Sheriff's Department use it's maximum efforts to bring to bear the force of the new animal control law passed by the county commissioners last year and force the closure of this business and that associated dog lot.
24. Call Taiwan's different political parties to unite against the Chinese Communist Party
Taiwan's Pan Blues and Pan Greens have been striving with each other for a time that makes Taiwanese people sick.
Taiwanese people should realize that the real threat is neither Blue nor Green, but the Communist regime across the strait.
If the Communists had never stolen the nation of China, the Nationalists would not have applied "White Terror" in Taiwan; thus, the native Taiwanese would not have been oppressed by the 1949 fleets; thus, there would not have been so much conflict between the Blues and the Greens today.
In fact, as Dr. Sun Yat-Sen suggested, Taiwan should be independent, if there had never been riots by the Communists in China, the Nationalists probably would never have occupied Taiwan, and Taiwan now would be Republic of Taiwan.
While the Greens are accusing the Blues of loving China instead of Taiwan, the real threat comes from the Communists. The Blues never set up weapons against Taiwan, the Communists do.
Since the Nationalist Party is Chinese Nationalist Party, the most ideal to finish the whole strife on Taiwan's political stage is to send the Nationalists back to China.
However, as long as the Communists are still in charge of China, the Blues cannot return to China; and Taiwan cannot join the UN as an independent nation.
25. Term-Limitations at The Pines
It seems that in the past, the pines has not been governed in accordance to the by-laws. Decisions have been made where homeowners should have been involved.
Contracts have been signed when even board members were not aware. In order to protect our rights as homeowners it is important that we place term limitations.
26. Justice for Imran Campaign
Imran Rashid, a 28 year old British-born Muslim from Middlesbrough has been unlawfully captured and incarcerated in a mental hospital without any reason or warning. The hospital has shown no interest in Imran’s welfare and safety and are holding him against his wish, in order to punish him in pursuit of their vendetta against him.
They show little empathy, overrule and dismiss his feelings. Imran’s life is in danger and the power to help rescue and save him is in your hands, so please help by signing this petition.
The hospital medical team are of no comfort or assistance, Imran has no trust in anyone of them and is requesting immediate removal to some where neutral and safe, both Imran and the family feel those responsible for his care and treatment are bias and discriminatory and could be danger to Imran’s life by provoking him into committing suicide. His human rights are not valued and the family has been offered little or no support. The hospital atmosphere is unwelcoming as staff give the impression they are superior, authoritarian and powerful. The family is very concerned about the threats made by the hospital that “Imran will never be released”.
This case is well known by all agencies and black professionals, who instead of helping, are simply passing it on to other agencies, wrongly assuming that it does not concern them or their professional remits. The family feel helpless and powerless in the face of institutional conspiracy and bias by the NHS Mental Health Trust which has little or no knowledge and understanding of mental health needs of Ethnic Minority and Muslim patients. Even the government is aware of the failure and inadequate treatment and service provisions for BME Communities in England (04 October 2006 Black & Minority Mental Health report).
Please Help! Can you imagine what you would feel and do if your loved one was locked-up in a mental institution, without any reason, or any independent support & representation – What would you do if your plea for help fell on deaf ears whilst the world just stood by watching your pain & suffering? Parents & friends of Imran Rashid have launched a campaign for “JUSTICE FOR IMRAN” and are humbly requesting your help and support.
27. Removal of a tree preservation order

A tree preservation order has been placed on a tree unsuitable for a small front garden and it needs to be removed.

This is for all those who have to suffer the unholy cooking smells that some Asians omit.
There needs to be a change in legislation so that the local councils can enforce some sort of order against this and put an end of the suffering/misery of those who cannot abide the really revolting pungent smells.
Because of this fact, there are many people out there, under the new legislation, if they are in dispute with their neighbours, will lose a considerable amount of value to their property. Also would find it very, very difficult to sell or rent.
Something needs to be done sooner rather than later.

Del resto, addirittura la serie originale Law & Order è ferma alla PRIMA SERIE!!
