For many, Dragon Ball Z is the essence of your childhood. It is one of the most iconic anime and manga ever made. It has a huge cult following of not just kids, but also teens and adults as well. But never has there been anything close to a Dragon Ball RPG game, which is where this petition comes into play.
Bethesda has proven they can make amazing RPG games with games such as Fallout and Elder Scrolls, so they would be the ideal developer to make a Dragon Ball Z RPG.
Valletta is a stunning city. For years we have been waiting for it to wake up in the evenings and at night. We want to sit outside and sip a drink, talk to friends local or not, enjoy a lovely meal in our amazing capital city and go back home happy that we have done so.
We are tired of all the negativity surrounding being in Valletta no matter what time of day or night it is. We are tired of coming out the theatre or a lovely meal and find a ticket slapped to our windscreen for too many reasons to mention. We are tired of hearing, and saying, 'Valletta is impossible - let's go somewhere else'. This is OUR CAPITAL CITY and as such, it belongs to all.
We the undersigned are proposing the following:
3. Ongoing Guild Wars 2 Beta Servers
First public Guild Wars 2 Beta Weekend event began on April 27 and finished April 29. During those three days, servers were stress tested, bugs were reported, poll forms were filled but most importantly - immense amounts of fun were had.
It's safe to say that this beta event was very successful - with minimal lag and fairly good optimization. Players enjoyed every aspect of the game, from PvE through PvP to WvWvW. This however, left most of the players speculating on the next Beta Event date, unable to enjoy the game they've prepurchased and already played.
It is understandable that opening servers again is not an easy task. However, current state of the beta, despite some content not implemented is more than enough to enjoy the game and we believe that ArenaNet could take that step for its loyal customers.
4. Keep Emily Fisher Charter School Open
It was announced on March 2nd,2012 that Emily Fisher Charter School in Trenton, New Jersey will be closed June 29th. The reason is because the test scores put the school in the bottom three percent statewide.
5. Raising Awareness in Results of A Closed-Campus
Due to the recent change from being an open to a closed-campus, there have been many issues that have arisen to the students and/or staffs attention. Including but not limited to crowding of the halls, longer lunch lines, also misbehaviour issues.
6. Save Goodwood Primary School
This action will ensure Goodwood and the surrounding community continues to evolve into a strong, stable and socially engaged region.
Goodwood should have an active voice in the future of our State by sustaining and building on the community’s strong values and pride by not centralising this educational service and not disengaging and fragmenting our community.
7. Keep Prince Philip Elementary School Open in Ainslie Wood
Prince Philip Elementary School is an integral part of the Ainslie Wood neighbourhood.
We deeply believe the best interests of its students are served by keeping the school open.
8. Create a new open Division for all 55kph male slalom skiers
The 55kph slalom skiers make up the largest portion of our membership, what better way is there to showcase, increase competitiveness, participation and reward those exceptional skiers over the age of 35 with a new 'open' division.
This has been done already within USA Waterkski and has a large competitive field and with new events such as the 'Big Dawg' series creating this division will not only help to grow our sport it will help breed a stronger Canadian elite competitor for major international competitions.
9. Petition to keep Polyvore.com up and running
Polyvore.com is simply for fun - nothing else. We do not take credit for the photos, nor do we get paid for the work we do on the site. We IN NO WAY remove watermarks. There may be some members who violate the rules that most of polyvore.com members abide by, but we cannot take a stand or take fault for their actions.
It is unfair to punish the members themselves for what the Polyvore administration has for their rules, many try to not use personal photos that are uploaded and we try to acknowledge the Polyvore copyright rules. As we have stated earlier - we cannot speak for those who do violate this, but the majority of Polyvore users do not take part in this.
We have never tried to take away the watermarks or tried to hide who the true artists are. Although not all works of art are linked back to the artists' personal site, they are linked to whatever website supplied the work.
Polyvore.com is a place for creativity and fun. In the past few days many members have been harassed, threatened and lied to by artists claiming they’ve violated their copyright. There is a simple and easy way for artists to report copyright infringement to the staff of polyvore.com, why did they feel the need to create accounts in order to harass people? Most of Polyvore completely understands the artist's take on the situation, and can empathize with how they feel, but we feel as though we do not take advantage of their art. If we received any monetary gain from the sets we make on Polyvore, we would understand Polyvore being shut down, but that is not the case.
It is true that all items used in all sets on Polyvore have been clipped from other websites, but that doesn't mean creativity does not go into the works of Polyvore members. We may use the photos of another, but we create something out of them that we feel we can relate to and express. There are many younger members who find Polyvore a positive way to spend their free time. A sense of community is formed and many personal problems can be addressed and solved.
Polyvore is just a fantastic place for creative people to come together and share thoughts and ideas on how they see life, love, happiness, liberty, and so on. Creating collages of certain art works help express those feelings. To take that away would be hurtful and costly to those of us who so value the friendships of other Polyvore members, and the feeling we get when we express ourselves.
Summary:
- Most members don't claim the items they use are their creations.
- No member receives any type of monetary gain. Polyvore.com might receive revenue by teaming up with a fashion site or store, that's it.
- All of the items to the right of the "set" are linked to where they were clipped, that does not mean that the polyvore user put that item on that site ie:fffound.com etc.
-Many of Polyvore's users are other artists who upload their own work.
-Users feel that by using great works of art they can in a sense create something else enjoyable that will be linked back to the original site.
-Once an item is removed because of the copyright issue, the set also will be removed it just takes a day or so.
-Many art & expression sets fall under the Transformative use in the the Fair Use of Copyrighted Works.
Many of Polyvore.com's artists "sets" fall under the Fair Use of Copyrighted Works. Here is a link explaining this:

10. Five Ponds: Make All Board Meetings Open
Currently, the Board of Directors of the Villas at Five Ponds Community Association meet monthly, in private, to conduct business of the Association and to make decisions on matters of importance to the Residents of the VFP. Most of the decisions made are to enact new rules that affect the quality of life in our community, and impact on the Residents' enjoyment of our homes.
The Board makes these decisions without seeking any input from the VFP residents, concluding that since they were duly elected to serve as directors, that therefore the residents have placed a trust in their oligarical decisions. In fact, residents elected the directors to LEAD the Association, not to BE the Association.
In 2007, the Board stated that the reason their meetings were not open to Association members was that, at the time, meetings were held off-site in a space that could not accommodate more attendees. Association members were assured that once our Clubhouse was open, the Board meetings would be open.
In the December 2008 issue of the Association's newsletter, Board member Joel Mickelberg writes in defense of closed meetings that open meetings require too much "behind the scenes preparation work"; would unduly require "an extra time burden on the Board"; that Board members are already "easily approachable"; that "if anyone wants to know what took place at a Board meeting they can simply read the public minutes"; and "if anyone wants to talk to the Board on a formal basis they can make that request in writing to our management company."
In response to this, Association members assert that Board members are only "easily approachable" when they agree with the issue; that talking to the Board on a formal basis after a decision is made does not give an opportunity for input on issues prior to their being made; the minutes have not been easily accessible; especially to residents without computer access; no extra time burden is required to open the doors to an audience and to allow a structured time for public comment.
11. Ban the transportation of dogs in the back of open vehicles
I would like to put forward a petition against the transportation of dogs in the back of utility vehicles, as I believe it to be cruel and dangerous for the dog.
Too many times have I seen the remains of a family pet splattered on the highway, and even (in a few instances) hanging from a rope at the back of a ute (in these instances the dog has obviously tried to jump out and the rope has been just that little bit too long).
I believe that dogs SHOULD NOT be transported in the tray of a ute (or other open vehicle) unless they are confined in a secure cage or box, which is secured to the floor of the ute tray.
