1. Bring The old Myspace back! 
Remember the old Myspace? Searching local bands? No horrible lag? Friends lists that worked? Working IM's? Actually making your own layouts with no silly modules and lagging, forceful layout options?
We do, too! Myspace was the forefront for social and musical expansion. Corporate interference has taken that all away. It was the ONLY place musicians had and could have again to branch out.
Myspace, get rid of the new, silly design and bring back the good ol' days. Simple layout, basic HTML editable design. We miss it.
Facebook is a HORRIBLE alternative to what Myspace used to be. Give our social site back!
2. Give us back the Old Myspace
I believe that the old Myspace should be brought back, such as the Myspace that was a place for friends unlike the new Myspace that is now a place for music entertainment.
Facebook is way worse than Myspace ever was. With Facebook, I feel like there is no privacy as much. I feel it's too public and with the old Myspace, I felt safe. On the old Myspace, we were able to customize our profile to describe with also music that we liked ! Where Facebook doesn't.
Myspace has lost over 75% of it's population because of the complicated new Myspace. I feel like whoever owns it now, has changed the site into something else. I actually contacted Myspace and ask them to change it back, but they felt like it was too complicated for us.
WHAT ??? That was the easiest site for me and nobody had a problem with it as far as I know.
3. Bring Back the Old MySpace !
Ever Since MySpace changed it has lost a big part of their users, many of them complain about missing the old MySpace and how they need to change it back.
Old MySpace - let's us express our creativity as teens and also adults, it would benefit MySpace as well as the users.
4. Stop Picture Rejection at MySpace
Since the revamp of myspace there has been many issues this petition particularly deals with the gif file rejection. First they completely terminated the ability to upload gif files then after several petitions they brought it back.
Now countless people cannot upload non violate gif files that they use for many purposes. This wouldn't be a problem if there was a particular criteria that myspace followed and clearly stated the people who use myspace.
For example the exact same gif file could be uploaded to one myspace account and not on another. They both have the exact same content but only one is allowed acceptation to used on myspace.
5. We want the old myspace back
The new myspace has a lot of bugs and it is not as the convenient as the old one.
6. Bring Back Death Penalty In South Africa!
For the past fifteen years there has been a RAPID increase in murder, rape and all other incredibly savage acts and crime in general. South Africa is currently NUMBER ONE on in the world for murder, rape and all crime and therefore earned the name "CRIME CAPITAL OF THE WORLD".
More then THREE THOUSAND FARMERS have been murdered since 1994 and nearly more then 50 South Africans are murdered PER DAY! A BIG portion of that are CHILDREN that were RAPED TO DEATH!
These SAVAGES are seldom caught and only a few gets captured and convicted. Most of these murderers actually prefer being in jail. They receive clean beds, three meals and free education if they so desire.
This becomes another burden on the taxpayer. With other words the law-abiding citizens of South Africa actually are then the ones getting punished for the murderer 's heinous acts! More then 600 South Africans have actually successfully gained refugee status in other countries! HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS South Africans have already fled the country in fear of their lives! This resulted in the ultimate "Brain Drain" of the country.
Instead of keeping the LAW-ABIDING, EDUCATED citizens of South Africa IN the country, the Lack of the South African Government's involvement and lack of proper punishment has secured South Africa 's first place as a MURDER/RAPE/CRIME - CAPITAL IN THE WORLD!
I am of the strong opinion that Capital Punishment for murder should be reintroduced to South Africa! Amnesty International states that the Death Penalty 'violates the right of the life as proclaimed in the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.' The question - What about the lives and rights of the victims? Were they not entitled to the Right of Life and Prohibition of Torture?
The person that takes the life savagely of another should no longer benefit from the protections afforded under any legislation. The failure of the government to actually ensure the citizens of South Africa a safer country is no longer expectable.

This is the first time i have done this but in jan, 12 2008 myspace chatrooms where shut down for many reasons although none explained, for the past yrs people use the chat rooms for hanging out and be their selfs maybe do a little roleplaying (RPG).
8. Governor Togiola, PLEASE sign the letter to FEMA for the C-17's!
On September 29, 2009, a tsunami hit the Samoan islands, which killed hundreds of people and destroyed homes and entire villages.
Relief efforts are underway throughout the United States. Such endeavors in the greater Los Angeles area are led by churches, Chiefs, community organizations, and human rights activists. All have been instrumental in collecting goods based on needs communicated directly from those devastated by the disaster.
On September 30, 2009, President Barack Obama declared the events in American Samoa as a major disaster, thus authorizing FEMA to move forward with its work.
FEMA has since responded to American Samoa via directives from the Governor Togiola Tulafono.
Yesterday, October 9, 2009, Congresswoman Laura Richardson (http://richardson.house.gov/)
met with Samoan-American church leaders, elders, Chiefs, and community organizations actively involved in relief efforts within the Southern California area. She disclosed how actively involved her office has been with Congressman Faleomavaega, the Secretary of State office, FEMA, and Governor Togiola.
After days of deliberation to address logistical needs of the local relief efforts to obtain FEMA's assistance with air transportation, the community was told that Governor Togiola refused to sign the letter to FEMA activating the use of C-17's to transport now 360+ pallets of donated goods ready to go to American Samoa and Samoa, which are now placed in parking lots.
9. Make Myspace Chat Available Again
At one time, Myspace had a feature known as Myspace Chat, which allowed an extensive range of communication between many people.
Myspace Chat was divided into many different categories based on common interests such as Culture, Arts and Literature, Fashion, Religion and Philosophy, Automotive and many more such topics. Each of these "catagories" were further divided into even more specific subjects, allowing people to find others who were genuinely intereseted in the same hobbies or subject matter. If two people wished to further communicate, a link to their profile was available, as well as the option to block inappropriate users.
In the presence of such competition as Facebook and Twitter, Myspace has lost many of its original, unique features such as this one. In place of Myspace Chat, Myspace suggests that users use an app or application that allows for a very limited and more inappropriate chat room environment. Applications, of course, are one of the prominent highlights of Facebook, and further mark Myspace's fall from originality.
10. Expand the Functionality of the Nintendo DSi
For years, many handheld games and mobile devices have overwhelmed millions of people worldwide, specially Nintendo with its unique handhelds like their Nintendo DSi.
And such a successful handheld can be improved in different of ways. For example, giving more versatility to the system by adding common every-day applications that we see in many other appliances (such as Cell Phones, Computers other handheld games, etc.) like IM, Twitter, Myspace, and more to its Nintendo DSi Shop.
And since Nintendo is such a success, all of this can be fullfilled.
Not trying to offend anyone or Tom Anderson but We are tired; first the profile 2.0 gets created and isn't forced on anyone and later on - any human who starts a new account is forced to follow 2.0 even if they don't want it, why bother? and why make a myspace when myspace doesn't give its users the option of doing what they wish with their profiles.
Evidence are more than one person who cannot change their profile from 2.0 to 1.0 even when they want to - fix it and soon.
12. Stop Blocking Myspace extension tables
Many myspace users from musicians to actors and random people all around the world use extension tables to add tables to their myspace pages and make a nice small personal site out of it.
Many enjoyed that feature about myspace more than anything and Suddenly in the last few days it disappeared and I am not the only one who is upset.
13. Stop the Deletion of Roleplayers on MySpace
For the past several YEARS, "Tom" or whomever handles the deletion of members on MySpace has been ridding roleplayers of their place. Roleplayers are simply actors and actresses, portraying a character(s) in a fictional fashion.
Those of whom never claim to be the person(s) they act as should not be penalized, marginalized, punished, and deleted as though they've done anything wrong.
This has been a persistent pest pecking at the backs of roleplayers for a long while and it needs to come to an end.
14. Delete Myspace Applications
Myspace has just made a lot of new applications. Some people like them but most people don't. I personally think that it is a waste of time.
15. Build a Skatepark in Laurel, Maryland
The local community have requested that a skatepark be built in the city of Laurel, within Prince George's County Maryland. Everyday the local skateboarders in the community are being kicked out and banned from everywhere they go, even when there are not other pedestrians around.
Everywhere the local skateboarders skate, there is always an individual who call the police or threatens the skateboarders to leave, otherwise he will be forced to contact the authorities.
The city of Laurel, Maryland has a large population of skateboarders with no where to go, without getting in trouble. Building a skatepark will help keep the local skateboarders out of the streets and away from potential dangers.
we should be able to access myspace from school... i think so because there are people that dont have a computer at home and i think it would be alot easier if instead of blocking myspace completely that they just have some little password code on the site and when people are done with there work they can just have a teacher sign them into the site and do their own little thing on myspace...
i for one get on mainly because im in a group home and i like to contact my mom through email because i dont like staff at the group home listening in on my conversations with my mom... sign if u agree..
17. The Petition Against Tryhard Gangsta's
This Petition Started when a bunch of girls were looking at their friedns Bebo's and Myspaces and decided that there are too many tryhard gangsta's in the world, while they are fun to mimic, we do not want anymore.
We want to delete all tryhard gangsta's profiles off bebo and myspace!

21. Pictures of young girls in underwear should be banned on Netlog
With the internet, children are more venerable than ever, in a matter of seconds a paedophile could be talking to a young girl or boy under the age of 16.
Even with parental controls the youngsters aren’t safe. The easiest way for a paedophile to get a child’s email address is through networking sites such as, MySpace, Bebo and Facebook.

Please sign this petition to bring back Inuyasha. They cut the season short on October 26, 2006, leaving us all in suspense, waiting for another new episode. Although they made movies, many Inuyasha lovers were disappointed by the ending of the series.

25. Change BET
BET is not run by a black man any longer and it shows. Now it glamorizes or sensationalizes activities that are criminal, degrading, sexist, stereotypical, or predjudice. The dumbest rap artists in the world are endorsing nothing but butt naked booty, "hoes", money and obnoxiously unnecessary expensive jewelry! The rap songs now have "elementary hooks and verses" and the message is the exact same in every video.
That message is "sell your soul for money push drugs on the streets and treat your sisters like crap and you will get to live comfortable like me, even though those same rappers are really broke, the platinum chain is borrowed (or fake) and, posing next to rented cars.
Not every black person likes to go to the club, not all of us are materialistic, some of us do have the ability to love our men & women. We aren't just entertainers. Still, we do not see this balance reflected on BET anymore. This causes a problem because it's mainly young people who watch the channel. What are we telling our young people about what it means to be a black male or female? Where are their positive role models? Not on Black Entertainment Television the one place that they should be able to find it. I, as a mother of two daughters and one son, will not allow my children to watch ANYTHING that airs on BET but, why does it have to be this way? Before Viacom bought BET from Johnson (a black man) We had Tavis Smiley. We had Teen Summit. We had positive black artists that I would have been happy to turn on the tv to and say to my children "see"! This is what you are! Can you say the same thing today? Would you turn on BET at anytime of the day and sit your young child down in front of it and say "Look, this is what you are and what you can become?" Now BET is putting out the message to our youngest and most impressionable, our future..That we are criminals, thugs, ignorant, entertainment. I don't want my children or any black child to believe that's what they are.
Imagine turning on your television and not having to worry about what the children are watching, knowing that the channel is positive and educational. Even better, the channel could be uplifting and even help you and that child learn a little about yourself and your culture. Wow, what a wish. Eventually, someone thought of that very thing and created a TV network called BET. While it was getting started, it was something to be proud of. It celebrated us as a people, educated us with talk forums and news geared toward what was relevant to us.
Real talent was discovered and our movies were celebrated. Even our music was spotlighted as we watched shows like Video Soul and Video Vibrations hosted by talent that actually spoke in full and complete sentences.
Many prominent media critics, including Public Enemy rapper Chuck D, journalist George Curry, Howard University, writer Keith Boykin, comic book writer/artist/editor Christopher Priest, filmmaker Spike Lee and writer/cartoonist Aaron McGruder of The Boondocks, have protested BET's programming and actions.
One of the most commonly-heard complaints is the fact that BET's programming is mostly music entertainment, particularly Hip-hop and rap music, and does not focus on the public affairs of the black community. This criticism expanded in the light of Viacom's cutbacks of BET's public affairs department, which resulted in the firing of BET Tonight talk show host and social commentator Tavis Smiley in March 2001, and the cancelations of the youth panel forum Teen Summit and morning news broadcast Lead Story in 2002. 28. Help Dimebag Darrell by getting a disrespectful person off myspace

There is a myspace user who is disrespceting a hero for many. www.myspace.com/deaddarrell. He is deliberatley trying to make fun of and ridiclule Dimebag Darrell who tragically had his life taken in 2004.
"Dimebag" Darrell Lance Abbott was a great guitarist for Pantera and Damage Plan. He inspired so many people all around the world. He was a friend and even a fan himself, and for someone to pose as him after death and disrespect him in this matter is ludicris!
Many people as well as myself would appreciate if his account was deleted and he would not be allowed to start another myspace if for the same purposes.
I am all for freedom of speech but this man, if he can be called a man for what he is doing, is taking it too far. Many people find this very offensive and if it is not stopped some may even take matters into their own hands. Please end all of this and delete his myspace account. Thank you.
