Make prostitution legal, so it can be monitored, reduce crime and disease. By making prostitution legal, it will decrease the amount of sexually transmitted disease because the prostitutes will have check ups and will be more safe.
It will also reduce the amount of crime and will not be run by criminals. This will also help the economy by attracting more tourists.
For years tenagers (11, 12, 13, and 14 year olds) have not been able to get a legal job. For years (i am 13) i have wanted to have a job to learn responcibilty and work ethics. I also need money for things that i want suck at drums cd's ect.
There should be a lowered working age so all teens can be able to work for what they want not just wait for their birthdays or rely on a allowance.

Legal studies has never been introduced into the Abbotsleigh HSC course.
This has been a popular subject in other schools and we believe many girls at Abbotsleigh would like the opportunity to enrol in such a course.
The introduction to the study of law in commerce in year 9 raised a lot of interest among the students. We believe the school should offer the opportunity to continue the study of law in year 11 and 12.

I think that certain hacking organizations should be legal. Take Legends of Chaos for example. They hack a lot, but they hack porn sites and get information from countries the U.S. is at war at. 75. Lower the drinking age in the United States
Time and Time again, there are always debates about people being a certain age to carry on in certain activities. One activity that has had the most debate is the legal drinking age in the United States of America. Between the 60's and 70's when America was at war, this issue came about. It came about because at this time, the Governent decided that 18 was the legal age to vote and make educated decisions about people's political future, as well as fighting in wars. Since the question "I am at a legal age to vote and protect my country, why can't I drink?" came about, the Government decided to lower the drinking age to 19.
Over the years, there have been many irresponsible acts of binge drinking, and drunk driving done by many young people, this is in turn enticed the Government to raise the age to 21. I'm petitioning this issue because I feel that it would be fair for people 18, who are considered adults, and over to be able to have access to alcoholic beverages. There are many places in the world like Jamaica, and China who don't have a legal drinking age, and they don't seem to have a predominace of issues like drunk driving etc. I feel that it would be beneficial socially if people who are 18 are allowed to drink.

Health wise I have been diagnosed with bi-polar. And when I used to get depressed I'd smoke hemp and I would No longer feel depressed. So it does help with depression. It does not impare judgement as much as anti-drug commercials say it does. We as citizens of this country have the natural born right to smoke it. And if they say it's dangerous then I say to them to close down the cigarette and alcohol companies and make them illegal too. Because more people abuse them than they do "weed."
There would be a lot less people in prisons if it was made legal. Once something is made legal then the thrill of doing it is gone. The thrill comes from the fact that they are taking a chance of getting caught.
Besides the government could make a very profitable business out of it.
78. Abolish Substance Scheduling
Why don't we have the right to do as we please within our own homes? Why are substances scheduled as illegal? If someone wants to use one of these substances why can't they? The only person they are hurting are themselves. All of the less dangerous 'drugs' are illegal, yet alcohol and tobacco are sold every day and are far more dangerous and have a higher addiction rate than most illegal drugs. The government wants to make money by selling addicting products and these non addicting products would just ruin their business.
People should be allowed to do what ever they please within their own homes, except for murder and such of course. If these substances were legal, not only would crime go down because people arent getting in trouble for what they are going to do anyway, but then a whole new feild of business would open. The only reason "drugs are bad" is because thats what the government teaches you to believe. alcohol and cigarettes are just as much drugs as acid and extacy, so why are some legal and some not?

For years, I have listened to the arguements to keep abortion legal, because "a woman should have a right to control her own body". 80. Ban Legal Animal Abuse In Spain
Animal abuse in Spain has gone back years. Bulls are shameless slaughtered for sport, goats are dangled headfirst out of second-story windows, geese are tortured until their heads come off, and donkeys are tied to the back of vehicles until there strength is out, at which point they are dragged along the streets. All for sport. This cruel for of animal abuse is completely legal and attended like a sporting event for the people of Spain.

Abortion is the greatest horror ever seen by humanity. If we care about God, humanity, or even ourselves we must work to stop it. The means are readily available and very easy. No one needs to “lift a finger”, spend a dollar, or suffer in any way to help these innocents. All that is required is for us to do, assuming that we continue to vote, is decide that we will never again vote for abortion.
The scale of the carnage certainly screams out for action, at least to those who have a conscience to hear it. Consider this: 3,025 people died in the 9/11 terrorist attacks. 6 million Jews died in the Holocaust. 15 million people (troops + civilians) died in the First World War, and 50 million died in the Second World War (over six years).
Abortion, however, kills 46 million people every single year, making it the greatest slaughter of humans ever known on earth. And unlike the other horror mentioned, mass voluntary abortion is not merely historical, but, as of the time of this writing, is still heavily ongoing today. Unlike the other horrors, there are still relatively few people working to stop the legality of elective abortions.
We, as living humans, also “continue” today. This is our issue, our time, and our responsibility. We often wonder how peoples of the past stood by and did nothing while Christians were thrown to lions, slaves were traded, Jews were lethally gassed, and Rwandans were massacred. Similarly the Angels must wonder at us over this issue of abortion: they witness that we were all fetuses once, yet we would deny the humanity of fetuses, or that they deserve rights; we stand around while they are butchered in ways so cruel it would be certainly be illegal if it was done to animals.
We also have the advantage of learning from the other horrors of history; this is all the more reason why we have an urgent responsibility to stop this one. We cannot turn a blind eye and be guiltless. Nor is it easy to say we did much good with our lives if we ignore this issue.
It is a murder so horrible. The developing baby has only its mother and the Law to protect it, but neither are doing that. It has no weapons, no chance of escape, no one to appeal to for help, and no one to defend it when it is being ripped apart. It dies never having known any love.
The mothers actually bring their own babies in, voluntarily, to be killed! Therefore besides being execution of innocent people, abortion is an absolute betrayal of the sacred mother-child bond which is seen throughout Creation. It is perhaps the most evil thing a person could possibly do, yet it is perfectly legal and proudly defended in our politics today!
There is great power in the vote, and many lives were sacrificed so that we could have this right. But it is a power often misused by the common people, who seem to rarely vote according to their beliefs, and then wonder why the country is out of step with their beliefs. Even worse, many do not feel any personal responsibility for their vote, evidenced by the fact that many voters do not even vote at all (see http://www.idea.int/vt/survey/voter_turnout_pop2.cfm; eg. only 48% voter turnout in the USA).
Unfortunately those who do act to criminalize abortion have long been duped into voting for political parties which vaguely hint that they are against abortion, but which actually do nothing to stop it when they are in power. It is a situation where we are lead to feel like we are accomplishing something, but nothing good actually gets accomplished.
No more! We of conscience must make it our primary issue when we give any political support. Under no circumstances will we any more support any political party which refuses to criminalize elective abortion, or which even hesitates to do so. We will not be content with “baby steps” that actually go nowhere. We will no longer be toyed with. This is an urgent and terrible issue!
We will not abandon the voting booth; our vote and chance will not be wasted. We will not surrender, but act. We will find and support somebody else, even if we have to resort to minor political parties not normally mentioned in the news. We will, at the same time, voice our displeasure so that no one has to guess at the reason for it. Then the message will be clear and we will have made a real difference.
This is a boycott; a very powerful political tool that would stop abortion as soon as it starts in almost every nation of the world. After all, there are few nations in the world not vastly (eg. 85%) dominated by some combination of Jews, Christians, Muslims, and Buddhists. Abortion is fundamentally against all of these religions. If even a quarter of them would boycott parties which allow abortion to be legal, the political force would be so great as to stop abortion before the next election. Wherever there are people who have a heart and a conscience, there is a way to stop this horror.
But we do not refuse to vote against abortion only for the sake of the unborn. There are so many other important reasons. For one thing, do you really want people who have no regard for innocent human life ruling over you? That's what happens when you vote-in abortion-loving political parties. Imagine what other atrocities such people are capable of! Under their rule, who can be safe? There is also the issue of our eternity to consider: our Judgment before God, and the eternal record of the right or wrong we did or failed to do. Do we want to die having done nothing about this issue? It would be like living in Europe in World War II and deciding to “go along with” the Nazis and their arrest and murder of Jewish people. Would that have been something to be proud of? Are you “going along with” abortion? Is that what you want your life to be like? You don't have to be a mediocre person. You have a choice and a chance to make a difference, and be someone who has real values and acts on them.
Social change it not hard to achieve; it only needs people to take an interest. As you go through your day, and all the things you care about, and all the things on the news, ask yourself how many of them are more important and urgent than the issue of abortion. You will quickly see that society is distracted from the things that are most important.
You do not have to answer for society, but you will eventually have to answer for yourself. Abortion is an atrocity of historical proportions and historical responsibility, whether that is realized today or not. You have to decide whether you want your name recorded in eternity as someone who was part of it, someone who didn't care, or someone who stood against it.
May God the Creator richly Bless all those who sign, implement, and propagate this boycott. Furthermore, may the names signed on this petition be an eternal testament of their innocence of the blood of the unborn.

I believe that paintball should be made legal in the U.S.Paintball should be legalized all over the United States.
It doesn't make sense for it to be illegal in some places and legal in others. A person could buy a paintball marker in a place it is legal to buy one, then go to a place where it is illegal and do vandilism. If a paintball marker is illegal, why not a baseball bat? They can do the same things, vandalize and kill Do you no why paintball is considered dangerous? i'll tell you, its people who go around and shoot houses and cars and people. It is a very safe sport if the right precautions are takin, such as wering the right saftey gear especially made for the sport, and chronographing your marker before play. Domestic violence is the leading cause of death and injury to women between the ages 15-44. Married women are 9 times more likely to be killed by their spouses than by a stranger. In Canada, 60% of female homicide victims are killed by their spouses. On average most women are assualted 35 times before calling the police. 1 out of 8 women, are or have been abused by their partners.
Around 70 women in Canada die each year at the hands of their male partner.

Benny Wenda, S.Sos, Chairperson and or Secretary-General of the Koteka Tribal Assembly (Dewan Musyawarah Adat Masyarakat Koteka - Demmak) was arrested on 08 June 2002, 01:30PM Papua Time (+9GMT) due to three charges:
1. He owns two passports from two countries (Indonesia and PNG);
2. He organised the attack on Bloody Abepura 6-7 December 2000.
3. He was organising a new attacks on TNI and Police posts in West Papua.
All charges were exposed only some hours after arrest. In other words, the charges were given BEFORE proper and just legal proceedings. Charges have no legal bases.
We want to tell the Indonesian police and army that Indonesian does not promote and respect legal supremacy. That legal systems here are not working. That Benny should be released until his arrest is proven to be legally justified.
