When we pulled up to the Emergency Room, I pulled into the drive-thru, and a male EMPLOYEE Came out and RUDELY told me I could NOT park here because it was the ambulance entrance that I would have to move my car down the hill and go in through the emergency room check in. I got back in the car, and pulled down the hill and went up the stairs and went to the check in desk. When I told the employee at the desk what was going on, he told me to pull my car BACK up the hill to where I just was because they would have to get my husband out of the car and into a wheelchair. I walked back to the car, backed up the hill to the door and they came out and put my husband in a wheel chair and wheeled him back to the check in desk. In a few minutes they came and got us and a nurse checked us in and asked us all kinds of questions about what was going on. After she was finished, they took my husband back to a room in the ER where we were for the next 5 hours. Five hours in which my husband lay in pain and his own URINE, FECES, and STENCH. When we were leaving the VA hospital, when I went to go out the door we came in, I was trying to push/force it open and the HIPPIE looking guy behind the desk (the same one who made me pull down the hill in the first place) RUDELY YELLED “Don’t do that, you’ll break the door”, “we have to push the button”, and I said to him “Then open the damn door!” So he pushed the button, the door opened, and I went and got the car and came back for my husband. I was the one who was mad, not my husband. My husband “Lynn E. Carter” was incapacitated DUE TO THE STROKE he was having and not at all mad or upset. He was barely conscious… We then drove to Fort Smith AR (because of MY decision, not his) to Sparks Regional Medical Center where my husband, Lynn E. Carter was hospitalized, and treated with human dignity. But because of the critical time lost (wasted) at the VA hospital – there was not much medically they could do by the time we got there except to make sure he was stable. This was time lost in a possible life/death situation. We are honest law abiding Christian, United States citizens. We Vote, we pay our taxes on time every year and we also contribute to charities. How can our country allow this to happen? June 15, 2011 was a night of PURE LIVING HELL FOR US. My husband still suffers mental anguish due to the events of June 15, 2011 at the Veterans Hospital ER, Fayetteville Arkansas.

You send letters asking our support, donations and ask for our vote, yet you ignore us in our times of need. After over one year of waiting for an investigation into the U.S. Veterans Hospital abuse of June 15, 2011 Congressman Steve Womack http://womack.house.gov/ and Senator Mark Pryor http://www.pryor.senate.gov/public/ Senator John Boozman http://www.boozman.senate.gov/public/ still have not acknowledged this issue. The Bible message is quite clear that Jesus says God does provide for us because he created us, he loves us and he is all powerful.

Jesus did not get his own food, drink or clothing but in bringing the good news of the kingdom was provided for as he went along.

Christianity fails to appreciate the depth of God's providence however and most of the world cannot see that God is active in the world.

God does not need the mundane things of this world to bring about his kingdom.

Daily I am more and more convinced of God's providence and the dire need for it to be fully recognised and carefully defined (because misinterpretation could be dangerous).

They welcomed us, the new-comers with open arms and let us "BE" in their country without restrictions or barriers (which we experienced in our Native Lands) by allowing us to: Speak freely our mind without being arrested, retain our traditions and our native languages, educate our children instilling our traditions and customs. And, to teach our children our Religion (or a Religion of our choice), build Churches (and Schools) and let us make many personal choices, which were denied in our native lands.

As a "THANK YOU NOTE" we, the new-comers to this wonderful Country CANADA, are TAKING AWAY the traditional CANADIAN celebration: CHRISTMAS.

The End-of-the-year Holiday-Time has different significance to many people: For some it means to have a few days "off" away from the business pressures they endured during the year. Others are busy closing their "Books", while many are just beginning to earn some income, because their business is "End-of-the-Year" oriented, and/or welcoming the NEW YEAR while many nationalities have their Religious Celebrations as well.

And it happened that at this time of the year the Christians celebrate the birth of Jesus – the Son of God, renown in the whole World as the prophet who was educating people to be moral, virtuous, kind-hearted and compassionate to each other.

Because we, the residents of this Great Country, do not follow this kind of teaching, find ourselves facing many difficulties in our lives and consequently blame Christian CHRRISTMAS!

The following petition is an imploration on behalf of the Hall Brothers; Joseph Hall 13874-018; David Hall 13816-018; and Cleophas Hall 43117-019 who are currently serving out sentences imposed in 1992, on charges of Conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute 50 grams or more of cocaine base; and Conspiracy to possess with intent to distribute a detectable amount of cocaine powder.

The Hall Brothers have been incarcerated for approximately nineteen (19) years and during such time they have completed a number of rehabilitative programs, self-improvement programs and worked as facilitators in many of the programs they themselves completed. The Hall Brothers has work for UNICOR Federal Prison Industries, Inc., for over thirteen (13) years. Not only have they worked to improve their own lives, but they have worked untiringly and determinedly to assist many other inmates to set goals for themselves and work toward accomplishing their goals as well as helping others to build and re-build family ties. Via a web site hosted by a dear friend, the Hall Brothers work to expose the many talented and gifted inmates to society in hope of building a bridge that would enable those incarcerated to find and take advantage of the help available upon reentry back into the mainstream of society as quickly and as smoothly as possible.

Notwithstanding, all that they do to help others, they are unable to help themselves. Because of incident reports they received for supposedly participating in a riot that took place October 25, 1995, over fifteen (15) years ago at FCI Mariana in Mariana Florida, the Federal Bureau of Prisons (BOP) insist on keeping a Public Safety Factor; in their records that is preventing the Hall Brothers from being able to take advantage of a lower custody level, such as low facility and Camp. The Hall Brothers have points low enough to go to a low or camp but can't because of the Public Safety Factor being large against them. Please we need your support by signing this petition and contacting the Region--Bureau of Prisons and asking them to please remove the Public Safety Factor and allow the Hall Brothers the opportunity move on to a lower custody level.

They want to ban the prayer spoken at public events! “School Prayers Targeted” headlines scream on front page of the Chattanooga Times Free Press newspaper, dated Wed. Oct. 20, 2010. The “Freedom from Religion Foundation" is demanding local school leaders to eliminate prayer at public events. They claim, by them hearing prayers over the use of loudspeakers at football games, graduation ceremonies etc. is an "unconstitutional government-endorsed form of religion." I agree with Jim Rogers, a parent of a local Hamilton County student who boldly stated, "Public Christian prayer falls under the right of free speech." He stated, "Our country was founded on the principle of religious suffrage and the freedom to express that religion. God is incorporated in our money, the oath of office, our legal system, and in the Pledge of Allegiance. You cannot find one aspect of our secular government that doesn't make reference to our Creator."

I was astounded after exploring “Freedom from Religion Foundations” web site. Using unified solicitations; “One person can make a difference." Encouraging slogans “Make a Difference” as they quote the powerful words of Thomas Paine; "Those who expect to reap the blessings of freedom must undergo the fatigue… of supporting it." Freedom from Religion Foundations is only 30 yrs old yet holds the most trophies for eliminating “God” from “Government” than any other foundation. They call us hypocrites, mocking the very existence and substance of God, the Creator of this marvelous, spectacular planet, twisting HIS truth for the use of destruction and slander against God’s glory and purpose.

This warfare against God is not new, nor is it a new technique, the Bible tells many stories of this same enemy…I realize winning this petition, and keeping our “right to verbally pray before public events” does not stop nor silence the enemy of God; however it will prevent us from losing our constitutional rights to exercise our freedom of religion to pray out loud wherever, whenever, however, we desire!

Stand together & refuse to let some half-witted enemy without foundation of any faith or principle dictate that we have to participate in “silencing” our voice! Our Saviors blood fell on this earth giving us the covenant of God’s benefits and blessing. Prayer in Schools .. For and Against. (By Carol Brooks)

Much has been said both for and against prayer in schools. There is little doubt that neither the founding fathers nor the Lord Jesus Himself would have been in favour of ‘forced’ or ‘state sponsored’ prayer. The option to pray or not to pray is a matter of individual choice and has to come from the heart. It is a matter of some doubt whether the actual doing away of prayer in schools has directly contributed to the escalation of teen-age pregnancies and suicides and the downward spiral of the SAT scores. The Pharisees thought they would be heard for their ‘much speaking’, and similarly it is questionable as to how much value there is in a ‘canned’ prayer even if recited by thousands of young people across the country. (Consider that most schools in India start their day with a very generic prayer, similar to the one that sparked the U.S. Supreme court’s decision on the Engels v. Vitale case in 1962).

However the indisputable statistics in the following article are too frightening to be ignored and, even more damningly, the downward slide in behavior started about the time of the court decision and very evidently had something to do with it. As we see it, the court ruling to remove prayer from the school system was nothing more than the ‘official’ stamp on the removal of God from a very crucial part of our society. It was simply one large step among many small ones, which has contributed to the moral & spiritual disintegration of the US. It was a flying leap across the narrow chasm separating a God fearing moral country and the chaotic ‘everything goes’ situation we find ourselves in today. The message the Supreme Court sent to the country that fateful day was that it was okay to ‘remove’ God from His rightful place.

Remove the fear of God from the human heart, whitewash the reality that all of us will face and answer to a supremely moral Being sooner or later, eliminate the concept that He demands adherence to His laws and it is but a short step to the deterioration of the cornerstone of society… The Family. With the fear of God done away with there is no longer any reason to treat the marriage vows as sacred, to bring up God-fearing children. From there it is an even shorter step to all the other sinister and evil circumstances we find ourselves in today…. Teen pregnancies, violent crime, suicide, drugs and alcohol abuse are the very logical fruits of a society that has forgotten that He is a God of wrath.

The US Supreme Court was simply another tool, a very effective tool, in Satan’s hand.
ALEDO, TX (FR) - How did the removal of voluntary prayer from the schools of the United States affect our nation as a whole? That question has been answered in detail by a research company in Texas which has gathered and tabulated statistics from hundreds of sources relating to the rates of moral decline in America.

Specialty Research Associates, under the direction of David Barton, has released a report entitled America: To Pray or Not to Pray which uses over 100 pages of graphs and statistical analysis to prove that crime, venereal disease, premarital sex, illiteracy, suicide, drug use, public corruption, and other social ills began a dramatic increase after the Engel vs. Vitale Supreme Court decision was made in 1962 which banned school prayer.

Prayer in schools prior to 1962 was utilized in school districts all over the U.S. in many varieties. Some teachers used extemporaneous prayers, simply expressing their thoughts and desires; others implemented structured prayers, such as the Lord's Prayer or the 23rd Psalm, or others approved by local school boards. New York students prayed each day: "Almighty God, we acknowledge our dependence on Thee and beg Thy blessing over us, our parents, our teachers, and our nation." It was this simple prayer which came under fire and went to the Supreme Court for the landmark decision.

Says David Barton, "It is impossible to know how many of the 39 million children were involved in daily verbal prayers, but most accounts indicate that a clear majority of the students voluntarily participated in daily school prayer. Is it possible that the prayers that were being offered by these children and their teachers across the nation actually had any measurable, tangible effect?"

It was this question that led Barton to uncover the statistical proof that the removal of prayer did indeed take its toll on America. Below are just a few of the examples featured in Barton's report.

A. Young People

1. For 15 years before 1963 pregnancies in girls ages 15 through 19 years had been no more than 15 per thousand After 1963 pregnancies increased 187% in the next 15 years.

2. For younger girls, ages 10 to 14 years, pregnancies since 1963 are up 553%.

3. Before 1963 sexually transmitted diseases among students were 400 per 100,000. Since 1963, they were up 226% in the next 12 years.

B. The Family

1. Before 1963 divorce rates had been declining for 15 years. After 1963 divorces increased 300% each year for the next 15 years.

2. Since 1963 unmarried people living together is up 353%

3. Since 1963 single parent families are up 140%.

4. Since 1963 single parent families with children are up 160%.

C. Education

1. The educational standard of measure has been the SAT scores. SAT scores had been steady for many years before 1963. From 1963 they rapidly declined for 18 consecutive years, even though the same test has been used since 1941.

2. In 1974-75 the rate of decline of the SAT scores decreased, even though they continued to decline. That was when there was an explosion of private religious schools. There were only 1000 Christian schools in 1965. Between 1974 to 1984 they increased to 32,000.

a. That could have an impact if the private schools had higher SAT scores. In checking with the SAT Board it was found that indeed the SAT scores for private schools were nearly 100 points higher than public schools.

b. In fact the scores were at the point where the public schools had been before their decline started in 1963 when prayer and Bible reading/ instruction was removed from the schools.

c. The scores in the public schools were still declining.

3. Of the nation's top academic scholars, three times as many come from private religious schools, which operate on one-third the funds as do the public schools.

D. The Nation

1. Since 1963 violent crime has increased 544%.

3. Illegal drugs have become an enormous & uncontrollable problem.

2. The nation has been deprived of an estimated 30 million citizens through legal abortions just since 1973.

It is also more than slightly disturbing that prayer has been taken out of schools yet there are so many instances where religion and the existence of God are recognized by the government. For example:

Each day's session of the Supreme Court starts with the invocation: "God save the United States and this Honorable Court."

The National Anthem, "The Star Spangled Banner" contains the words "Praise the Pow'r that hath made and preserved us a nation."

The National Motto is "In God we Trust." [See Article]

The Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag contains the words "one Nation under God, indivisible, with liberty and justice for all."

The Declaration of Independence includes the phrase: "with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence."

This petition is not to make students pray but to at least present them the opportunity to do so.

Christmas is a time to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ....the only begotten son of God. These are the words of Jesus as written in the American King James Version of the Holy Bible.

This petition seeks to illustrate this point...as the wise men gave their gifts to Jesus and Joseph and Mary at the manger in their poverty, so should we do for the poor of this age to the benefit of our souls, our lives and our countries. In the past four years, 400,000 people in Darfur, Sudan have been killed by their own government. Millions more need our help. Government sponsored troops massacre civilians, rape girls, and shoot children for sport. But now, a growing number of activists around the world are demanding world leaders take action to end the killing.

Darfur is a region in western Sudan, an eastern African country half the size of the United States.

Ethnic African rebel groups in Darfur launched a war for independence, citing a lack of life saving government funds in the region. President Omar Al-Bashir responded with a brutal campaign of ethnic cleansing against civilians. He has used proxy militia groups to torch whole cities, rape and kill thousands of women and children. The violence continues today.

A No-Fly Zone could stop the violence.
The United States ran a No-Fly Zone in Iraq after the first Gulf War. A NATO implemented No-Fly Zone ended the violence Kosovo. We can do the same in Darfur. But we need your help. President Bush is already considering a No-Fly Zone as part of his "Plan B" package.

Well there are many evidences in today's culture, that point to pushing Christ out of CHRISTmas. Just recently Macy's and Wal-Mart have replaced Merry Christmas with Happy Holidays.

The problem is they are large companies that have such a huge say in our country and economy and not just ours.

I think that we as Canadians should be allowed to say Merry Christmas no matter what others think. If I choose to say Merry Christmas and someone is offended than their response should be whatever they choose. In other words, if you choose to respond by saying Happy Holidays then so be it.

It used to be that in other countries you would have to worry about what you stood for when it came to your beliefs about Jesus; but now we as Christians and even those that are not Christians but still believe in God are the ones that have to worry. I shouldn't be forced to change my beliefs b/c of what other's believe. I respect their beliefs and I think our beliefs should be the same on respecting other beliefs. If you choose not to partake in saying Merry Christmas than don't. Say whatever you feel.

"The DaVinci Code" written by novelist Dan Brown was made into a major motion picture on May 19, 2006 directed by Ron Howard and starred Tom Hanks.

"The DaVinci Code" is a global warming incident that is waiting to explode. As Christians of God and Jesus Christ, this book and motion picture is a disturbance of the peace for it portrays the wrong idea of how Christians live their lives.

We Christians need to stop the removing of GOD from our country. It is pretty simple. We outnumber them. We are in the billions. The majority rules and we are the majority.

We need to fight for GOD. This country was created with GOD. We have In GOD we TRUST on our money, we sing the national anthem at our games, we have GOD in our schools and that is the way it needs to stay. The way it has been since the beginning.

HELP SAVE OUR CROSS AND ARTWORK depicting the BLOOD of JESUS. Soul Chasers Prayer and Outreach Center has only been open in Amarillo, Texas since May 1st, 2005. We completely renovated our building which we lease from the San Jacinto Masonic Lodge No. 1330, the Masons welcomed our Christian Evangelistic Ministry with open arms.

The Master of the Lodge gave his approval on behalf of the Lodge for the placement of the Cross on the roof. In addition approval was granted for the painting of the cross on our back door. The Master of the lodge in agreement with our Lease gave us full aproval to paint the outside of the building and create signs and artwork.

The only sign on the building which is on the front wall, consisting of a flat plywood board, was painted in red paint with "JESUS SAVES" written on it. On the corner of the building and directly under the rooftop cross our artist painted red blood flowing down the side of the building. Written inside the red paint are different quotes, concerning the Blood of Jesus, such as "The Blood of Jesus Sets you Free".

Upon completion of all the outside artwork the Master of the Lodge advised us to cease from any further painting, as members of the lodge had complained about the blood artwork. They found the Blood artwork to be disturbing. The Director of our organization contacted the City of Amarillo Code Enforcement Department to obtain what rules, regulations and laws pertained to all the work done during the renovation of the building.

Per the City of Amarillo, no permits were needed for the artwork, as it is not considered to be signage under city ordinances. String lighting (Christmas lights) were placed on the border of the roof outlining it in white lighting. The Cross was lit up with red christmas lights. These lights are not regulated by the Code Enforcement Department and are not considered to be electrical work which normally needs permits and inspections.

On August 15, 2005 Six months into our lease we received notifcation from our Landlord - San Jacinto Masonic Lodge No. 1330, that they wanted the Cross removed from the roof, the Cross removed from the back door. They found the lighting on the cross and roof to be a hazard (in their opinion) and therefore disconnected all lights.

They demand immediate removal of all artwork painted with red paint on the outside of the building. The sign and the artwork of the Blood of Jesus. They state that their membership voted on the issue and want it all removed. They state that it violates the Grand Lodge laws which prohibits the Lodges from placement of any signs or emblems denoting a particular religion.

We are in full compliance with our lease agreement. During the renovation and placement of the artwork and crosses the Master of the Lodge and other members were involved and get informed on a daily basis. They consistly gave their approval for all our work, citing we had done a wonderful job and they were very pleased to have us as tenants.

In addition, the supplied equipment such as ladders for us to place the cross on the roof, and to install the lighting. The Master was constantly encouraging us to paint the outside of the building (since it was in poor condition) and told us to paint whatever we wanted. Furthermore, we had even negotiated with the Lodge about possibly renovated a large historical murial on the North wall of the building, which had started to peel and fade.

We presented them with plans of painting a depiction of Jesus Christ surrounded by drug addicts, prostitues and homeless people. The Master of the Lodge stated we had his approval.
Upon consulting with City Officials and our Attorneys, we our in full compliance with the law and followed proper procedure for approval per our lease agreement.

We therefore refuse to comply with the demands for the removal of these items. In addition, we request your support in standing with us on this issue. The Masonic Lodge is only offended by the Christian emblems of the Cross and the Blood of Jesus, because they despise both and teach against them.

The members of the Masonic Lodge are the only individuals that have made any negative comments about our artwork. The cross and the Blood artwork have drawn the comments and attention of every person that frequents sixth street in Amarillo, Texas.

We have been overwhelmed with compliments from all types of people from various faiths, beliefs and backgrounds. The cross and the Blood Artwork have become the Outreach's Identity as it is located on Historic Route 66 amongst Antique shops, biker bars and clubs. We will stand strong for the CROSS and we Proclaim once again that THERE IS POWER IN THE BLOOD OF JESUS.

We will not back down from what we belief is our right and priviledge to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus, the Death on the Cross, the atonement of our Sins throught the Blood of Jesus and by his death we obtain Salvation, and through Jesus only, not by works or by any other human means.

We are justified and washed in the Blood of Jesus. Satan ! Masons ! You are defeated in Jesus Name and we proclaim Victory so that the Lost may be Saved.
