2. In support of the public strike in Iranian Kurdistan
August 19, 2009 is the 30th anniversary of Khomeini’s declaration of Jihad and also the launching of an enormous military attack on the people of Kurdistan in Iran. To protest the brutal policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran (IRI), residences of Kurdistan have been invited to launch a day of public strike by several leftist parties and groups. In support of this initiative, we, the undersigned individuals, call on all lovers of freedom to support the people’s struggles in Kurdistan on this historic day.
3. Condemn House located at Hollar's Extension in West Providence Township
We, the undersigned, petition the supervisors of West Providence Township to condemn and have removed the house located at Hollar's Extension in West Providence Township in the town of Everett, PA.
This house was in a fire many years ago. No one has lived in it since that time. The owners purchased a mobile home and placed it on the property next to this burned out house. The house has been deteriorating since it burned. It now has broken windows, a front porch that is ready to cave in, and a roof that is rotting away.
This house is not only a nuisance, it is a hazard. Roofing is ready to fall off which could hurt an individual or damage others' property. The broken windows could entice individuals to try to enter the house and they could be injured. This house also attracts rodents and stray animals that can cause problems to other individuals living in the neighborhood.
This house hurts property values in the neighborhood. Many in the neighborhood have done improvements to their homes, only to learn that the property value has to be decreased because of this house. The tax value, however, remains the same on these properties. This devaluation is not fair to the rest of the individuals that live in this neighborhood.
4. One Voice, One goal, Our Dream: to Stop the Unjust Treatment and Deportation of Undocumented Workers
In Canada there are approximately 30,000 to 50,000 undocumented workers, many of whom are waiting for their application to be processed or who have been rejected. For those individuals seeking refuge a request for deportation means returning into an unsafe environment where they are at risk of harm, torture or death; the very reason why they fled. They are victims of human rights abusers and Canada should uphold their universal right to life, liberty, and security.
Up to 15,000 individuals in Ontario and 200,000 nationally have already been deported. For those that remain in Canada, the fear of deportation is constant, during which they are deprived of necessities such as medical access, safety, education, and decent wages for engaging in poor and unsafe work.

6. Introduce and Enforce workable dog laws around the world
Dog barking is one of the most common complaints raised to local governments and animal control. Dog barking can be totally devastating to individuals and families. On the spot monetary penalties are probably the most efficient method of controlling the neglect of duty many dog owners practice.
Dog related offences should be as simple as a parking ticket to police, but it is not the case. Onus of proof is often placed upon the victim. Requirements of multiple complainants does not confirm or deny the existence of a dog related issue. Diaries of dog offences further burden victims un-fairly. The assumption of there being another un-related issue does not either prove or disprove dog related offences are occurring and should not be even considered as a reason not to enforce the laws.
The number of barking complaints are indicative of an even greater problem with dog control around the world. dog biting and attacks to other animals and people occur daily, and killings by dogs of other animals and even more upsetting, of infants, children, the frail and elderly, and other people happens far too often. We need to introduce better dog laws that are enforced immediately and effectively now. This petition is in response to irresponsible dog owners causing mayhem all over the world. There are responsible dog owners about, but they are being let down by the laws and irresponsible people too.
Protect people for now and into the future, dogs must be kept in an acceptable fashion to all in our communities. The rights of people must be a priority over the offences dog owners are thrusting onto innocent people in our communities.
7. Investigate the Violent assault with a deadly weapon against a 16 year old in Northridge
16 year old Granada Hills resident was assaulted by 12-15 individuals on August 12, 2006. Assailants used a knife to slash the victim's foot almolst to amputation, permenantly maiming him.
Police failed to investigate the assault, interview known suspects and wittnesses, deal truthfully with or cooperate with victim for three months.
8. ACLU: UNAMERICAN, UNBALANCED, UNFAIR, UNSAFE
July 30, 2006
Under truth-in-advertising principles, the ACLU should be an acronym for Anti-God Communists and Lunatics United instead of American Civil Liberties Union. But cunning far leftists prefer seductively sensible-sounding names to truth in advertising.
Likewise, the Center for Constitutional Rights should be renamed the Center for Unconstitutional Wrongs.
The Associated Press reported that these two self-misdescribed "civil liberties" organizations filed lawsuits in United States District Courts in New York and Detroit attempting to block President Bush's warrantless eavesdropping program (which is designed to prevent the horror of terrorist attacks on America), arguing, absurdly, that such electronic surveillance is unconstitutional, because it involved Americans receiving calls from abroad from terrorists or suspected terrorists.
The New York suit, filed on behalf of the Center and individuals, named President Bush, the head of the National Security Agency, and the heads of the other major security agencies, challenging the NSA's surveillance of persons within the United States without judicial approval or statutory authorization.
It seeks an injunction that would prohibit the government from conducting surveillance of communications in the United States without warrants.
The Detroit suit, which also names the NSA, was filed by the ACLU along with the Council on American-Islamic Relations, Greenpeace and several individuals.
Just what America needs during a War on Terror: to distract the government's attention from that war to litigating with egomaniacs bent on undermining America and aiding and abetting the terrorists.
Were companion suits filed against the terrorists, along with a request for an injunction against them calling people in the United States as part of their war on America?
Of course not.
President Bush has explained that the wiretapping is legal and necessary, pointing not only to his inherent power as Commander-in-Chief, but also to a congressional resolution passed after the attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, that authorized him to use force in the fight against terrorism as allowing him to order the program.
The program authorized eavesdropping of international phone calls and e-mails of people deemed a terror risk.
To protect America, a President can go much farther than that, of course..
In 1944, during World War II, in Korematsu v. United States, the United States Supreme Court held that it was legal to exclude all persons of Japanese descent from their homes and communities by military fiat power, the threat of the Japanese during World War II being perceived, rightly or wrongly, as sufficient in the circumstances, because "the power to protect must be commensurate with the threatened danger."
These days, with World War II won and the threats of Nazism and Communist distant history, the United States Supreme Court decision in Korematsu is viewed as having gone too far. Perhaps so (as former Federal Bureau of Investigation Director J. Edgar Hoover argued to Franklin Delano Roosevelt, then America's President and Commander-in-Chief). But surely President Bush's limited warrantless surveillance is hardly "unreasonable" after September 11, 2001.
The Fourth Amendment protects property and prohibits only "unreasonable searches and seizures." It implicitly acknowledges that some warrantless searches and seizures would be reasonable and it was not written and ratified to help America's enemies wreck havoc.
In 1921, in Gouled v. United States, 255 U.S. 298, the United States Supreme Court explained not only that the Fourth Amendment banned only such searches and seizures as are "unreasonable," but also that it is to be construed in the light of what was deemed an unreasonable search and seizure when it was adopted and in a manner to conserve public interests as well as the rights of individuals.
Protecting America from terrorist attack trumps the interest of Americans who prefer that their calls with terorists and/or terrorist suspects be private.
Wiretapping was NOT within the purview of the Fourth Amendment. So said a majority of the Supremes, correctly, in Olmstead v. United States, 277 U.S. 338 (1928). In Olmstead, the Supremes reviewed convictions obtained on the basis of evidence gained through taps on telephone wires in violation of state law. On a five-to- four vote, the Court held that wiretapping was not within the confines of the Fourth Amendment. Chief Justice Taft, writing for the Court, set forth two sound reasons for the sensible conclusion: (1) inasmuch as the Fourth Amendment was designed to protect one's property interest in his premises, there was no search so long as there was no physical trespass on premises owned or controlled by a defendant; and (2) all the evidence obtained had been secured by hearing, and the interception of a conversation could not qualify as a seizure, for the Fourth Amendment referred only to the seizure of tangible items.
Chief Justice (and former President) Taft was right! Winning the War on Terror and avoiding catastrophic terrorist attacks are legitimate public interests, since the Constitution was not created as a suicide pact.

For years, the people all over this planet have been harassed, injured, and even killed by self-righteous delinquents who commit violent acts in the names of Earth and animals.
People so pious in their beliefs they take their misanthropy to new and terrifying levels. And to further spit in the faces of those they seek to harm, they claim they aren't commiting violence. Why? because their targets are not always living individuals. Some examples of eco-terrorist acts are:
1.they burn down buildings. Usually labratories or farms.
2.destroy crops they deem "inorganic" or unnatural.
3.release animals from labs and farms that carry unknown diseases that put the ecosystem at risk. And more then half of animals released by these stunts die within 48 hours.
4.blow up equipment, machinery, and buildings.
5.destroy homes and private property with rockss, paint, guns.often these homes are occupied at the moment they inflict harm. men, women, and children are injured during these charades.
6.threaten the lives of people and their families who are involved in industries these fanatics deem "evil".
7.cause riots that result in injury and death.
8.physically assault individuals they believe inflict the most harm.
This just touches on what these groups do. They run around in the dead of night wearing hoods like KKK members trying to intimidate people and governments to conform to their ideals.
WE MUST STOP THESE GROUPS!!THEY SEEK TO DEVALUE HUMAN LIVES AND ELEVATE RODENTS ABOVE OUR CHILDREN.
The Animal Liberation Front
The Earth Liberation Front
GreenPeace
PETA(donates money to eco-terrorism)
SHAC(stop huntingdon animal cruelty)

17. Save S.A.D.I. (Stroke And Disability Information (Hunter) Inc.)
Stroke And Disability Information (Hunter) Inc., known as S.A.D.I., originally commenced in 1988 as an advocacy and information service to strokees and their families and was then called Stroke Recovery Hunter Outreach Centre. Acceptance of a government grant required that we drop the Stroke Recovery from our name and include all disabilities. The funding allows us to employ one full-time Coordinator and one part-time Clerical Assistant. The Management Committee is a body of volunteers and we have 2 - 3 volunteers who work in the office as well as a small number of volunteers who work in the community organising localised Stroke Recovery Clubs. Our aim is to provide help and support to ALL people with disabilities, their carers and families, especially strokees. We currently have a clientele of 2000 individuals. Funding is in the order of $55,000/year. Our funding body, Department of Ageing, Disability & Home Care in conjunction with Home and Community Care, is now planning to withdraw funding.
18. Boycott the movie "The United States of Leland"
We as parents/relatives/friends/caregivers of autistic individuals and/or as Autistic individuals are signing this petition to express our intention of boycotting the movie "The United States of Leland" for its glorification of the murder of an autistic child out of "pity". (The movie is described as follows by the production company-: The United States of Leland is the story of an extraordinary young individual that begins with a tragedy, but ultimately inspires those surrounding him to make tremendously positive changes in their lives.
Premise: This is the story of a sensitive teenager, Leland, faced with issues of morality and hope under difficult circumstances, who is arrested and sent to juvenile hall, after he kills an autistic child out of sympathy (sort of like an emotional euthanasia). Once there, he meets a teacher, Mr. Pearl, who helps him figure out the reasons for why he committed the crime, as we also see the ramifications of the murder have on his community, his family, and that of the victim.) Support for this film has been guaranteed by numerous banks.
Addendum dated 5 October 2002:
'Recently it has come to my attention as author of this petition that there have been unfavorable reviews of the script which state that the movie shows an exploitive murder of an Autistic child, that the movie itself is shallow and self-serving and fails miserably in its attempt by Hoge to do a character study of human relationships and behavior.
The Autistic child, whose name is Ray, and his violent murder are used as pawns in Hoge's plot for this movie. Leland says he kills Ray out of sadness... sadness for Ray's life and the fact that he cannot relate to other children. Leland's character is using the fact that Ray is Autistic to justify the violent murder he commits. Leland, then through interactions with other characters in the movie, becomes an inspiration to others, helping them grow and mature as people.
Little consideration is given to Ray and the fact that despite his Autism, he had a family whom loved and accepted him and had every chance at a good life the way a typical person does. ..... Hoge judges everyone else's character in the movie and Leland ultimately DOES become a hero.... a hero because he helps other people grow and mature as people. Hoge admits that he wants you to sympathize and care for the main character Leland by the end of the movie in a letter which can be found on the Paramount Pictures website: http://www.paramountclassics.com/leland/ So amazingly, Hoge lets Leland, in principle, get away with the murder
Compassion isn't expected to be given to the disabled child and the fact that the disabled child was killed and in one disturbing line in the movie, Rays mother makes the horrid comment that there is "nothing there" when it comes to her autistic child. As anyone whom knows and loves and cares for a child or adult with autism, this is the farthest from the truth.
19. Investigate Grossmont-Union/Santana High School & San Diego County Agencies and Offices
This petition is posted prior to the imminent sentencing of Charles Andrew (Andy) Williams, defendant in People v Williams (California).
It is presented after extensive support efforts of over 17 months by many individuals and groups in support of Andy Williams being tried as a juvenile.
He had just turned 15 prior to his arrest.
Andy Williams was taken into custody at Santana High School in Santee, California on March 5, 2001. He is being tried as an adult under California statute enacted under voter initiative Proposition 21.
This proposition and its resulting law remains controversial among individuals and groups, among them, Amnesty International
(http://www.amnestyusa.org/children/factsheetprop21.html) and the Center on Juvenile and Criminal Justice (www.cjcj.org)
We call upon youth advocates worldwide, to contact the U.S. Attorney General, John Ashcroft for his expedient response to this petition.
Disabled persons in Newfoundland & Labrador have come under recent attack via Health and Community Services, whereby long term established care has been tested and tried by appointed Community Health Boards which lack educated and experienced personnel in being able to make proper judgment calls in often life threatening medical situations.
These boards are without specific direction or education on the need of individual clients and situations have arisen where disabled individuals have been left helpless and alone to provide for themselves.
Assessments previously conducted on clients with programs and services in effect as a result of these assessments have in many cases been privy to the discretion of front line workers, whereby irrational decisions have been made, and negatively affecting client services. Clients with sever and life altering disabilities are now being placed in unfair predicaments and many are taking ill.
Hospitalization of various individuals with severe disability requires specifically trained and experienced individuals to care for the patient. In all cases if this is a requirement of clients under the umbrella of Health and Community Services, then funding is channeled to the client for the purpose of employing these client supports. If however a client is hospitalized for more than 72 hours he/she will lose both funding and supportive service of the employee. This often puts grave detriment on the patient as most hospital staff are generally trained and have no experience in disease specific disability.
Persons with such osteo disease are now at severe risk of injury. This has to change.
21. Address Problems Created By Bunnyhopping in Half Life and mods
Individuals signing this petition urge Valve Software to address the negative impact on gameplay of Half Life related mods caused by the recent surge in the use of "bunny hopping".
