1. Make it law to report hitting or running over a cat whilst driving 
I believe if you hit a cat whilst driving you should at the very least call the police, local council animal control or local vet and stay until they arrive if the cat is injured or even dead.
It would help us pet owners to know for certain what has happened to our beloved pets instead of wondering and worrying for years.
Cats are not feral if they live among a family who love them very much.
Most responsible owners have their cat micro chipped, which allows whoever has been informed about the injured/dead cat to notify the owners, also many cats have collars on with name, phone number or address .
2. Take action against Police Chief for molesting teenage girl
I have read this incident in BBC News and in several Indian websites. http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/south_asia/8429378.stm informs about the entire incident how the teenager was molested and committed suicide due to police harassment.

3. Support for recently fired MHW Wynsdey
On Friday the tenth of Novemeber Wynsdey was contacted at her home in regard to an alleged patients rights violation that occured, ironically, on Wednesday the eighth of November on the adolescent unit, Wynsdey's home unit.
There are more details to the actual events and the whole truth may never be fully known. To condense the situation to its barest facts and so as not to actually violate any patients rihgts I will paraphrase what facts I do know and understand to be true to the best of my knowledge. An adolescent patient was asked to take a time out. Some time while the patient was in the time out room the door to the tome out room was locked per patients statement to a patients rights advocate at the time of a PCH the following day. The patient stated that it was Wynsdey that locked the door. Wynsdey flattly denies doing any such thing.
Administration was contacted by patients rights and administration decided to fire Wynsdey, apparently without any investigation as to what might have actually happened.
With such action as the adminisrtation has taken in this matter it should be noted by all signing this petition that there jobs are as tenuous as the next patients accusations. You may, however, elect to be anonymous on the public display list on this site.
It may be wise for the employees of Las Encinas Hospital to consider finding a union to represent them to disuade any such possible wrongful terminations in the future.
4. Defend II Lt. Ilario Pantano against Injustice
II Lt. IIlario Pantano. Marine Corps. A Hells Kitchen, Manhattannative, Father of two including a four month old daughter, is being brought up on charges of pre-meditated murder when in self-defense he shot and killed Two Iraqi insurgents in the hostile city of Fallujah.
He is facing a Article 32 hearing and if charged could face the Death Penalty. The incident occurred on April 15, 2004. II Lt.Pantano was leading his platoon in a search for weapons and insurgents, to a suspected hide-out/weapons cash near Baghdad. The search yielded several weapons, ammunition, and materials such as nails that could be used to make home-made bombs. During the search, two insurgents ran out of the building and attempted flee the scene in their truck.
The insurgent vehicle was stopped. Lt. Pantano told the men to search the truck themselves, as bombs and booby-traps were suspected. The men began acting nervously and tried to run away. Pantano ordered them both to stop in Arabic, they refused and acting quickly for his and his platoons safety shot them.
Lt. Pantano's commanders conducted an investigation, which valiadted his actions. He continued to serve his tour of duty, then returned to the United States to Camp Lejeune. It was not until an as yet to be named enlisted marine that was under Lt.Pantano's command during the incident, filed a complaint against Lt. Pantano that raised an eyebrow over the April 2004 combat incident. The enlisted man filed the complaint months after the shootings took place.

5. Student Code of Conduct - Fair hearing in regards to the Robert Rubio incident.
My child was given 3 day suspention and then we went to a hearing and he was given 20 days DAEC for hitting another student, who for the entire school year, has been inciting and engaging in bullying, intimidation by name calling, using derogatory statements that finally disrupted the school program to incite violence as the only means to defend himself (the school has done nothing to the other boys, other than telling one boy to go tell the other two to knock it off).
This is not acceptable and needs to be handled in an appropriate fair manner for all concerned. We consider this discrimination and would like a fair hearing with School board, Principal, councelors and students teachers, to come to a fair ruling to all the students involved and put an end to this type of behavior, which these 3 boys have been getting away with for years,.
This is a danourous intersectin outside our childrens Child Care Centre.
People do dangerous U-turns from the far side into the Service station with no thought to giving way to the cars leaving Joyce Avenue.
There is an ever increasing number of acidents outside where our children are being cared for and we don't want another incident like at the Roundhouse Childcare Centre in Janurary

7. Cease Operations of DeLoach Towing Co, Inc. (Tallahassee, FL)
DeLoach Towing Co., Inc. towed my car from a non-designated towing area. Once I realized my car had been towed, I contacted an employee at DeLoach and was told that the fee was $80 and that we could get pictures of the car from a printer at DeLoach Towing. When we arrived at DeLoach at approximately 10:00 pm, the employee stated that the pictures from the digital camera could only be printed from a computer which was in the owner's locked office. We told him to call the owner and then said that the owner was on his way. We waited for 50 minutes after the employee called the owner and then discovered the owner was not on his way. At this time (11:00), we were told we could not get a copy of the pictures. The price apparently increases to $105 after 11:00. While I was inside ready to pay with a police officer, my father in-law took the car because he thought we were paying. DeLoach said he was stealing the car and that we could not pay (I own the car and was driving the car the night of the incident). The police brought my father in law back from a gas station a couple blocks down the street to DeLoach and DeLoach towed my car back again. Miraculously the owner was able to make it down the street to the gas station from accross town, but could not go two blocks farther to his Company to print the pictures. We were charged $210 by the end of the night. DeLoach charged us for two tows.
The Police said they should only charge us for one incident which they believed should not have occurred in the first place by viewing the pictures on the digital camera. From our conversation with the police, the police get calls from DeLoach more than any other tow company in Tallahassee for unfair business practices. Not only is this company practicing unfair business acts, but they are wasting the Tallahassee Police Dapartments valuable time. The Police arrived around 11:00 pm and we finally left DeLoach (with $210 less) after 1:00 am.
8. Save the lions left high and dry at Sattur, TamilNadu, South India
Four lions are left high and dry by a circus company at Sattur, TamilNadu, South India. This incident has appeared in local newspapers. No action has been taken for the past four months. The lions are living in small cages. They don't get enough water and food and they are semi starved condition. If left so in the summer months, they would definitely die. Please take immediate steps to leave the lions in a national park or a zoo.

9. Wrongful banning of Lester Arnold at National City Golf Course
We are petitioning the banning of Lester Arnold a black afro american who is being banned from National City Golf Course a golf course managed by American Golf. He is being banned for an incident that happen more than 6 years ago at National City Golf Course where he and another golfer got into a fight. He was never charged in any court and there was never a police report filed on this incident. So why should he be banned for more than 6 years? We believe this to be a worngful banning that should be lifted.
