Warner Barracks has been part of Bambergs Community since the 50s and it's sad to see it go.
So many german businesses have profited from them, the german-american relationships have grown and a lot of families have settled down in the Area. The Post is actually easy to take care of, it's easy to walk from one end to the other, it's in the center of bavaria.
Eisbrecher is a German Neue Deutsche Härte band that consists primarily of Alexander Wesselsky (vocals) and Noel Pix (lead guitar/programming).
The band's lyrics and slogans often include terms of ice and sailing, such as "Ahoi" ("Ahoy") and "Es wird kalt" ("It's getting cold"); vocalist Alexander Wesselsky often wears naval and military clothing in performances.

Sergeant First Class Kelly A. Stewart is an Army Green Beret with multiple tours in Operation Iraqi Freedom. He was recently unjustly convicted of crimes of sexual assault, sodomy and kidnapping.
SFC Stewart has repeatedly declared his innocence but no appeal is possible for 1-2 years. So in the meantime, an innocent soldier sits in a cell without promise of being tried fairly.
Brigadier General Steven L. Salazar will review the clemency packet sometime in December. Included in the packet will be this petition, as well as Letters of Support from friends and family, photos, awards and other materials that define who Kelly is as a person. General Salazar will then decide if the sentencing was fair or not and has the power to reduce any or all of his sentences.
Please stand with his family, his friends and fellow soldiers in our efforts to not only publicize the truth, but to relieve a little bit of the injustice that has been served to this soldier and his family.

6. Gildenhäuser für alle Gilden in WOW (Guildhall for all guilds at WOW)
Howdy liebe WOW-Gemeinde^^
seit ich wow spiele gibt es da etwas, wo ich der Meinung bin das, das unbedingt in das Spiel gehört, nämlich Gildenhäuser.
Gemeint ist, und dabei ist die Idee gar nicht so neu, den Gilden in WOW die Möglichkeit zu geben durch Schlachtzugquests oder gegen Gold ein Gildenhaus zu erwerben wo nur die jeweilige Gilde bzw ihre Mitglieder nutzen können. Wozu wäre so ein Gildenhaus gut? Nun der Möglichkeiten was man alles mit so einem Gildenhaus verbinden könnte sind schier unbegrenzt.
Hier einpaar Ideen: Im Gildenhaus können untergebracht sein, ein in Game Kalender (vor allem für Raids), Gildenbank, Gastwirt, Gemischtwarenhändler, Schmiede, Manawebrahmen, Triumphraum(bzw. Trophenraum), Versammlungraum, Portale(siehe Shattrath), Stallmeister, Gildenhauszone dient auch zur Erholung der Member vor allem unter lvl 70 bzw. lvl 80in kürze. Natürlich können die Nutzung einiger punkte an quests gebunden sein, wie zb. der Portale.
Die Grösse der Gildenhäuser könnte auch je nach größe der Gilde angepasst werden. Auch einen PVP-Aspekt gebe es, wie zum Bespiel könnten 1x die Woche verschiedene Gilden gegeneinander antretten, um quasi ihr Gildenhaus zu verteidigen usw. usw. denke der Phantasie sind hier kaum grenzen gesetzt.
QUEER AS FOLK erzählt die Erlebnisse der fünf schwulen Männer Brian, Justin, Michael, Ted und Emmett und deren lesbischen Freundinnen Lindsay und Melanie. Es geht um Geschichten innerhalb der homosexuellen Szene und um brisante Themen, z.B. Aids, Drogen und Vorurteile.
*Die vierte Staffel der schwulen Kultserie "Queer As Folk" läuft, aber keiner schaut zu. Die Quoten für die Sendung auf Pro7 sind so schlecht, dass sich jetzt schon die Fans der Serie echte Sorgen darüber machen, ob eine Absetzung droht.
Die kommerziellen TV-Sender schmeißen gern und schnell Shows aus dem Programm, die nicht genug Leute vor den Fernseher locken. Pro7 hatte allerdings mit Beginn der vierten Staffel den Sendeplatz von Montag auf Mittwoch verschoben und die Serie eine Stunde später auf 1:15 Uhr nachts gelegt.*

8. Create a GERMAN HERITAGE REGION in Ontario
German speaking people were among the earliest settlers in Ontario; throughout the 19th century, tens of thousands of Germans immigrated to Ontario, and a large and industrious community emerged in the province.
While many wished to retain the language and cultural heritage, they came to Ontario to escape hardship and injustice in central Europe. They became proud and prosperous citizens of the province, but unfortunately there was always pressure to assimilate and give up their language.
When the First World War started, draconian measures were undertaken to eliminate German culture in Ontario, even though most German-Ontarians remained loyal citizens and even served in the Canadian Expeditionary Force.
By the end of the war, German culture in Ontario was effectively destroyed, and has never recovered.

10. Stop the breeding of german shepherds with low backs and hips
German shepherds should be bred for what they need to do. German shepherds make great family pets, along with great police dogs with jobs such as: sniffing out drugs, or lage amounts of money leaving the country, and much more.
Help me stop the breeding of german shepherds with low rising backs.

Seit 2003 gilt an der RWTH gemäß Diensterlaß des Kanzlers Rauchverbot, sofern
sich Nutzer eines Bereichs nicht anderweitig einigen. 2005 verabschiedeten der
Fachausschuß Informatik und die übrigen ansässigen Institute ein Rauchverbot für
das Gebäude Ahornstr. 55. Das Studentenwerk Aachen weigert sich jedoch
bislang, auch in der Mensa und Cafeteria im Gebäude das Rauchen zu untersagen.
Gerade hier ist jedoch das Rauchen für die übrigen Nutzer besonders störend.

On Wednesday August 16th 2006 at approximately 7:30-8:00am a driver for Lemay claims that my 12-year-old German Shepard/Border Collie mix, Kassy, bit him on the knee.
At the time of said injury I did not witness a dog bite, but instead only saw him react to seeing the dogs.
After returning to his vehicle I proceeded to apologize for my dogs, notified him that they were unable to leave the yard, and followed up by asking him if he was alright. He responded by saying that he was fine, he was just spooked. He sat out of my window for appoximately 3-5 minutes before leaving.
Approximately 5-6 hours later I get a note saying my dog bit him. It took him approximately 10-12 hours before he went to a doctor or the ER.

BERLIN, Sept 10 (Reuters) - A German air force plane loaded with 15 tonnes worth of ready-to-eat meals earmarked for flood victims in New Orleans was refused entry into the United States last week, a government spokesman said on Saturday.
Confirming a report in Der Spiegel news magazine, the spokesman said the Luftwaffe Airbus was loaded with 9,000 military "eimannpackung" ("one-man packages") but was grounded in Germany because it did not get U.S. flight clearance.
The spokesman said he did not know the reason for the decision by U.S. authorities. He said the refusal to allow German aid had since been lifted.
Der Spiegel news magazine reported that U.S. authorities had blocked the import of German military rations that contained hamburgers, goulash, sausages, pasta and jam due to fears of mad cow disease, or bovine spongiform encephalopathy (BSE).
The magazine reported that relief flights from Britain and Russia were also denied entry for the same reason.
