Why has he gone unnoticed for so long? He was one of the most influential people of the last half of the 20th century and I feel that is about time that he was recognised for all the good that he has given worldwide.

3. The Florida Open Carry Initiative
Throughout our history, the ability to be armed for self defense has been essential to our liberty. Today, the Florida state legislators have stripped the people of the ability to openly carry arms. This policy is inconsistent with that of a free society. The elimination of an open carry arms policy leads to corruption, the loss of liberty, and to a state of perpetual tyranny.

People in countries all over the world have a special day each year when they join together to pay tribute to their patron saint and celebrate their nation's history, culture and way of life.
The most obvious examples of such festivities are those that take place in Ireland on St. Patrick's Day. However, England and the English people have just as much to be proud of, with accomplishments in many fields of endeavour and enterprise that are second to none.
St. George's Day (April 23rd) ought to be a date in the calendar when everyone in England, whatever their background, can enjoy and share their common heritage. We are therefore urging the government of the United Kingdom to make it an official Public Holiday.
5. Save Darfur
In 2004 the U.S. Government called the atrocities in Darfur genocide...
...3 years later the killing continues.
-More than 450,000 innocent civilians are Dead
-2.5-3 Million are Displaced
-3.5 million depend on food aid
Women are being raped,
and Villages are being bombarded.
It is part of our responsibility as human beings to help these people and end the genocide in Darfur, Sudan, & eastern Chad.
The War in Iraq has been going strong for 5 years now, As of September 2007 over 27,506 Military Men and Women have been Injured in Iraq and Over 3728 have Died on the Battlefield...and Counting.
There are thousands of National Guardsmen and Women in Iraq who are trained to deal with fires much like the ones in California.
We need too get out of Iraq and deal with more important issues:
-California Fires
-The Darfur Conflict
Nobody else should die in that desert.
7. Save a Soldier Impeach Bush
For the sake of our soldiers we need to impeach George W Bush.
Saddam was executed for senseless murder, now it's George W. Bush's turn.

George W. Bush has got to be the worst president in US History for the terror that he has brought into this world instead of peace efforts that the US has been following for so long.

Furthermore, he now goes on to say that a military retreat could trigger the kind of upheaval seen after US forces left Vietnam. The decision to invade Iraq has been one of the worst blunders in history where thousands of civilians have died because of America's President's interest in the oil.
9. Prophecy Homeowners Association Combating Crime
We are petitioning for the support of homeowners to investigate and alleviate known ongoing crime issues to safeguard our property and values. Homeowners are charged to become proactive in the safety and security in collaboration with Prophecy’s board of directors, police officials, and county councilman, Tony Knotts.
Crime statistics are at an all time high and we cannot allow this activity to overcome our community.

11. Suicidal Tendencies: Reunite With Classic Lineup
August 3, 2006
Suicidal Tendencies were a popular thrash/hardcore/crossover band in the late 1980's and early 1990's. They made many classic albums and classic songs together during these years, but sadly split up in 1995.
They got back together in 1997, but without any of the members from the classic lineup except lead singer Mike Muir and rythem guitarust Mike Clark, and their new members are no where near as talented as the old members.
As a result, they want on to create horrible punk albums that were merely a shadow of their former selves. Many fans want the old members, particuarly lead guitarist Rocky George, back in the band. Suicidal should at least go on one re-union tour with the following members
*Mike Muir (lead vocals)
*Rocky George (lead guitar)
*Mike Clark (rythem guitar)
*Robert Trujillo (bass)
*R.J. Herrera or Jimmy DeGrasso (drums, either would work)
Many fans of Suicidal including myself would love to see this, even if it was just for one tour, BRING THE CLASSIC LINEUP OF SUICIDAL TENDENCIES BACK TOGETHER.
12. Bush - worst President in US history

George W Bush is the worst president the USA has ever had.
During his presidency USA went from a prosperous country to the highest debt in history.
Our kids and their kids will suffer the consequences of his "leadership".

Stop India from Exporting Terrorism to Nepal.
India has been creating economical as well as political problems for Nepal for the last 58 years it has become Independent from the British. Nepal wanted to become trade free zone just like Singapore, it pressurized Nepal to abandon the idea. It wanted to turn to market economy 20 years ago but India forced it to have high custom tariff. India is building dams in the border area to flood Lumbini the birth place of Lord Budha so no tourist will visit this submerge area.
Nepal has to endure Indian arm twisting because it is landlocked so it has to use Indian port for sea cargo. It took ten years to convince India to allow Nepal to link India port with railway and another three years for the train to star service after completion of the railway link. Even after 15 years the railway link in not functioning properly. India has denied Nepal right of transits numerous times and dictating its terms on Nepal economy, as a result it is now one of the poorest country in the world. Now Indian foreign minister is threatening Nepal that it has leverage against Nepal which is noting but Nepal geographical compulsion to ship cargo through India.
India has been exporting terrorism to its neighbouring countries to keeps these countries in line to the Indian wishes. Terrorism as been the inbuilt nature of Indian politics. According to very credible numbers published by human-rights groups and the Punjab judiciary, the government of India has murdered more than 250,000 Sikhs since 1984, in excess of 200,000 Christians in Nagaland since 1947, almost 75,000 Kashmiri Muslims since 1988, and tens of thousands of Assamese, Tamils, Manipuris, Dalits, and others. In 1994, the US State Department reported that the Indian government paid out over 41,000 cash bounties to police officers for killing members of the Sikh minority.
An Indian Prime Minister was killed in office resulting from hobnobbing with terrorist. A former Prime Minister Mr. Rajib Ghandi who supported and armed one of the deadliest terrorist LITTE against Sri Lanka and as result was killed by them. In 1985 it armed and trained Ramraja P. Singh in India to conduct various terrorism activities in Nepal the result was several innocent civilian were killed.
After fourteen years of corruption and misrule by corrupt politicians King of Nepal has taken a popular step and assumed direct rule. The result has been positive. Whith the polular support of the general public peace in returing to the country. Kathmandu has seen four months without bombing or innocent people being killed. It this the first time in decade three months have gone without any kind of forced strikes in Kathmandu and other towns of the country. Gradually situation in becoming normal in the country side.
Normal Nepal has chance of being out of grip of India. So now India in supporting terrorist Nepal Communist Party (Maoist) to fight against the Nepal Army. It is repeating the same story it did with Sri Lanka. Recently several terrorist who have red corner notice from the Interpol have been reported holding meetings with Indian Intelligence Agency and Politicians. India is planning to arm and train terrorist to teach Nepal a lesson.

18. A petition to guarantee Supreme Court nominees will not use foreign sources in court rulings
Recently the United States Supreme Court has begun using international law and public opinion in declaring certain laws unconstitutional. It is not within the abilities of the Supreme Court to use such information to justify rulings, especially when there is not justification within the Constitution itself.
As there is a great possibility that many on the Supreme Court will be retiring within the presidency of George W. Bush, this petition would ask the President not to appoint any Supreme Court Justice that will not take an oath to not use foreign law or public opinion as a basis for their rulings.

George W. Bush has led America to one of it's most corrupt periods in history. 22. Police Officer George Werdann
January 15, 2004
On February 21, 1982 New York City Police Officer George Werdann was shot and killed by Jose R. Curet after Mr. Curet committed an armed robbery. Officer Werdann had witnessed Jose R. Curet and an accomplice fleeing the scene of the armed robbery when he began his pursuit of them.
At some point approximately 2 blocks away, Jose R. Curet secreted himself in a hiding spot while his accomplice continued to flee.
When Officer Werdann passed Mr. Curet, he suddenly leaped out and shot and killed Officer Werdann. Jose R. Curet was captured and sentenced to 20 years to Life. While his accomplice was freed on parole a few years ago, Mr. Curet was denied parole 2 years ago due in part to violations he committed while incarcerated.
This is a petiiton to STRONGLY OPPOSE the parole of Jose R. Curet.

This comes on the heels of last year's 4.9% rise in tuition. The administration's nonchalant attitude towards tuition hikes is unacceptable. However, until we, the students of GW, make our displeasure known this is the kind of treatment we can expect. 27. Do not go to war with Iraq
I believe that the many terrorist attacks that are being carried out all over the world are very wrong and should be stopped. But if we decide to join George Bush in his unrealistic aims to put an end to this by killing others then that makes us as bad as them. We must stop these attacks, yes, we should not, however, kill innocent persons and increase hatred between nations and races. It could also result in mass destruction in this country, not only killing the innocent people that never wantewd this but also your innocent loved ones and friends. think about it, if the general public don't make their feelings known then we are as guilty as Tony Blair, George Bush and ,yes, Osama Bin Laden in allowing this inevitable mass killing to go ahead!

Georege Harrison has contributed to the world, not only through music, both solo and as a Beatle, but through concerts for human rights, Bangladesh, money for charities of all types and of course contributions to music and film. George was a man of peace, which he promoted to the end! We say Knight George Harrison!!
