63. Stop high Wages in Football

Footballers are people who think they are untouchable but in truth they need to wake up and realise that they aren't and there are other people in the world who deserve the money or at least a piece of that money, and with your help we can get FIFA to cap the wages and stop them getting absurd amounts of money.

64. Scottish Football BOYCOTT

Yet again, the voices and opinions of what make Scottish Football what it is, the FANS has gone unheard and unheeded.

Yet again, two clubs that could not care less about OUR game - only their own bank accounts - are attempting to bully every other club into bending to their will.

Yet again, the Old Pals Act, The Old Firm, are hitting, not only SPL but SFL, clubs with their big stick.

Yet again, business not sport, is trying to force the issue.

Football is billed as the Beautiful Game, the game for the man in the street.

Some modern day football CLUBS, however, seem to think that "the man in the street", the paying customer is now less important than having television cameras at their matches.

They are WRONG!

It's OUR "ball" ... and without US, they have no game! Without US, the game has no soul!

For some reason, the Old Firm are still seen as having a position of strength.

WHY?

No longer can they threaten to take their "product" elsewhere if they don't get their way.

The English don't want them. UEFA and FIFA have told them they are stuck here.

So why the hell are OUR clubs still listening to them?

65. Jack Butler Should Be in the NFL Hall of Fame

Former Steeler defensive back Jack Butler deserves to be in the NFL Hall of Fame. Jack's playing statistics warrant his inclusion among the games greatest players.

His 52 interceptions and 10 recovered fumbles in 103 games constitute the highest recovered turnover percentage in NFL history.

His 46 years with BLESTO scouting should also easily qualify him for enshrinement as a "Contributor". Jack Butler's total 56-year body of work within the NFL is without parallel in it's history.

Dozens of NFL administrators, owners, former players, and Hall of Famers have written letters of recommendation on Jack's behalf. These people are professional football and consider Jack Butler to be one of the greatest contributors in it's history.

You, the current group of selectors, have the ability to correct a long-standing injustice by voting Jack Butler into the NFL Hall of Fame.

Please carefully consider all of Jack Butler's many achievements during one of the NFL's longest careers, and vote him into the Hall of Fame.

70. No to commercial logo on FC Barcelona jerseys

FC Barcelona have announced an agreement with Qatar through its Qatar Sports Investment agency, which will be providing the necessary resources for the Qatar Foundation to become FCB’s shirt sponsor.

Blaugrana vice-president Javier Faus explained that the club will receive €30m each season for years, starting on July 1, 2011 running until June 30, 2016, plus bonuses for trophies won that could total €5m. During the 2010/11 campaign the club will also receive a further €15m for the concept of commercial rights, bringing the total of the deal to €170m.

FC Barcelona lost something forever: their status as the only club in top-level football still without a sponsor on their shirts. As the current coach of the Catalan national team, and Barcelona legend, Johann Cryuff said: "With this deal with Qatar, Barcelona isn't more than a club any longer, it's just one more club."

Is it worth losing your individuality in exchange for gaining an amount of money that is worth less than 10% of the budget? We think not, because this uniqueness, together with all that it represents to FC Barcelona club, is priceless.

Please sign this petition to save one of the symbols of our beloved Barca.

71. Facebook Should Never Ask For Too Much From Facebook Users

Facebook should be a free site without mobile or credit cards and having to prove your identity with government ID. Gift apps now require credit card or mobile with a confirmation code and when asked to get a confirmation code they never do send one. Facebook asks for too much.

Facebook should be more respectful towards privacy and with out having to get millions of people to give out too much personal information. People world wide are being picked on by Facebook, losing their account for no reason or being booted for some silly childish reason?

Note: not everyone has a credit card or mobile phone and probably some have never been to College or University? Why make it harder for millions of innocent Facebook users? It is time for a change!

73. Diego Milito for Ballon d'Or

Diego Milito is hero for success of Inter 2009/2010 but not included in Ballon d'Or nominees.

Inter Milan boss Rafa Benitez has been left baffled by striker Diego Milito's absence from the list of nominees for the Fifa Ballon d'Or award.

The 23-man shortlist for the newly-merged world player of the year honour was announced earlier this week, with the Nerazzurri forward conspicuous by his absence.

Milito played an integral role in Inter's treble triumph last term with both goals in the UEFA Champions League final victory over Bayern Munich and key strikes to help them claim the Serie A crown and Coppa Italia.

And Benitez, who took charge in the summer following the departure of Jose Mourinho to Real Madrid, revealed there is a sense of confusion around Giuseppe Meazza at the hitman being overlooked.

74. Impeach Sepp Blatter

Since becoming FIFA President in June 1998, Sepp Blatter has committed innumerable crimes against the sport of football, blatantly disrespecting the game, its players, its supporters, and its officials.

Blatter has been involved in several scandals:

1. Allegations of corruption and financial irregularities (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FIFA#Allegations_of_financial_irregularities)

2. Blatant sexism towards female footballers in 2004 when he suggested that women should "wear tighter shorts and low cut shirts... to create a more female aesthetic" and attract more male fans

3. Refusal to implement modern goal-line technology to take pressure off referees and ensure fair play

76. Citizens for 7 Day Sales

Oxford, MS. A prominent college town. Need I say more?

Well if so, here I go.

Game day weekends are EXTREMELY important to any Rebel. Last year for the Alabama vs Ole Miss games, 62,657 people attended the game in the stadium. That's not including all the people who are only in the Grove having a good time. Just imagine if all those people went to eat at a restaurant on Sunday. With alcohol sales on Sunday's, those family owned businesses would be able to make over their usual profit. Oxford Tourism Council President Jim McCauley asked the Mayor and Aldermen to consider letting the community vote.

The community backs the idea of 7 day sales, just look at the website links and read what all has been said so far.

77. East Mountain Stadium And The Hamilton Ti-Cats

A day after Hamilton city council voted to build a new stadium for the 2015 Pan Am Games at a West Harbour site that the Tiger-Cats opposed, the CFL team has said that they are not willing to talk to the city about playing games at that site.

"We think it's a massive mistake and may end the Ticats in Hamilton," Team owner Bob Young told the FAN 590 radio station on Wednesday.

Tiger-Cats team president Scott Mitchell told the Hamilton Spectator that there is nothing that the city can do, or offer to make the team return to negotiations.

"When you ask if we'll come back to the table, for what?" Mitchell told the Spectator. "Nothing has changed of any substance since their initial offer to us way back in February of a 15,000-seat stadium in the west harbour."

Mitchell also said that even if the club wouldn't have to spend their own money to expand the stadium to 25,000 to 30,000 seats, that it wouldn't make a difference as the location simply wasn't good enough for business.

"At the end of the day, whether it's Bob Young or anybody else, no owner is going to own a team that they're convinced they're going to lose millions of dollars on," he added, "Nobody."

The Ticats' stance leaves the CFL club with no place to play after its lease at aging Ivor Wynne Stadium runs out in 2011. At that point, according to Mitchell, the team will "look at any and all options."

For their part, the city hopes that the two sides can find some middle ground.

"I hope entrenched positions on their side don't continue and they come to the table in earnest and talk about the serious intent of our city council," Hamilton mayor Fred Eisenberger told the FAN 590 on Wednesday. "At the same time, we all want to find ways to make it more financially sustainable for them."

78. The Gibraltar Football Association should be allowed in the UEFA!

The Gibraltar Football Association (GFA) was formed in 1895. It is one of the world's oldest football associations.

In 1997, the GFA applied to FIFA for membership. In 1999, FIFA confirmed that the GFA conformed to the requirements, thus handing the file on to the UEFA. In 2000, UEFA and FIFA conducted a joint inspection of the football related facilities and, in consequence, produced a report stating "The FA of Gibraltar fulfils all requisite statutory conditions for admission to UEFA”.

In August 2000, the report to UEFA leaked to the Spanish media, and in consequence, both the Spanish Government and its political parties started a campaign to prevent the GFA's application from succeeding on purely political grounds. The Spanish objections were solely based on their claim of Sovereignty on Gibraltar. None of their objections were based on any sport criteria.

In December 2000, the Executive Committee of UEFA decided to appoint three independent judges to consider the legality and validity of the Spanish claims. The independent legal panel issued a report on August 2001 rejecting the Spanish objections and stating "the GFA is entitled to provisional admission as a member of UEFA”.

The applying continues and you can carry on reading on this link... http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gibraltar_Football_Association

Please read as there is a lot more information there.

79. Wales to represent TeamGB Football at London 2012

The English, Scottish, Welsh and Northern Irish football associations have agreed that only one FA should represent Team GB in 2012; I propose that Wales should replace England. Wales consistently fail to qualify for major championships and should be given an opportunity.

England consistently fail at major championships and risk the reputation of TeamGB for commitment and sportsmanship. Wales will positively represent a united GB.

80. FIFA must introduce video referee NOW after decision against England

Call it flogging a dead horse, but the second pair of knockout matches in the 2010 FIFA World Cup have made the need for goal-line technology even more pressing.

There's been plenty of talk this year of play-acting and diving bandied about as the usual (and justified) criticisms of the world game, but two moments in games of huge importance have revealed to the world what it already knew: referees need a lot more help than they're getting.

Not one person can deny Frank Lampard's goal should have levelled the scores between England and Germany.

Trailing at 2-1, having been outplayed for most of the first half, Lampard contrived to equalise for his country with a shot off the cross bar that cannoned back from behind the line, before the referee inexplicably ruled no-goal.

Germany goalkeeper Manuel Neuer has admitted he conned Uruguayan referee Jorge Larrionda into ruling out Frank Lampard’s ghost goal.

The Schalke No 1 claimed the ball was around two metres over the line while German legend and former coach Jurgen Klinsmann branded the referee’s blunder a ‘disgrace’.

Neuer said: ‘I tried not to react to the referee and just concentrate on what was happening. I realised it was over the line and I think the way I carried on so quickly fooled the referee into thinking it was not over.'

81. Global petition for Sepp Blatter (FIFA President) to recognise the importance of football (soccer) goal line technology

"It is one of the most debated points of the beautiful game, and the argument for the introduction of technology in football was bought to the fore again today.

England midfielder Frank Lampard thought, along with the vast majority of people packed into the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein, that his cute lob had pulled England level against Germany.

Replays showed the ball to have landed at least a foot over the line, but two men remained unmoved, the referee and his assistant.

FIFA chief Sepp Blatter, the most vocal defender of keeping the game 'pure' sat watching in the stands. As the boos rang out at half-time he may well have turned a funny shade of red.

It was Blatter, along with football's rule-makers, who in March this year shut the door on goal-line technology and effectively ended any chance of video replays coming into the game.

FIFA general secretary Jerome Valcke said: 'The door is closed. The decision was not to go ahead with technology at all.' But a number of viable methods have been put forward in recent years, from the simple reference of a fourth official using TV replays to the implementation of HawkEye between the posts. HawkEye is already used successfully in cricket and tennis but is seen by FIFA as having no place in football.

Yet incidents like the one which damaged England's World Cup hopes keep happening and the impact of the decisions grows ever greater. Having occurred on the grandest stage of all, perhaps Lamparad's 'goal' can now be the watershed moment. Blatter will do well to remember the reaction." - Taken form an article by Matt Fortune of the Daily Mail.

Sepp Blatter needs to realise the truth about goal line technology, even if Germany played well there is no doubting whatsoever that the disallowed goal may have changed the complexion of the game and indeed many of the other decisions of the World Cup.

82. Force FIFA to use Goal Line Technology

After the debacle that was Frank Lampard's disallowed goal (THAT WAS CLEARLY A GOAL) was shown on TV as a clear goal. This just proves that FIFA need to start using Goal line technology as an aid to officials in matches.

Situations like this should no longer be part of football, technology like this is in use in other sports, so why is Sepp Blatter so against it, if he does not want it then maybe it was time he was replaced too.

83. Move New Zealand to the AFC!

New Zealand, a country east of Australia in the Oceania, is affiliated with the Oceania Football Association. Through 2007-2009, the team qualified for the 2010 FIFA World Cup.

The team in previous years however, have not been able to achieve this. This is due to their affiliation with the OFC.

Because a OFC team is not guaranteed a spot in the World Cup, New Zealand have struggled.

If they move to the AFC, they are more likely to qualify. Also, there are more benefits.

1. If New Zealand move, the team improves. Because the team faces more competitive teams (Bahrain, Australia, Japan, Korea Republic, etc), they will be able to learn the "asian" style of playing.

2. Higher attendances. Due to lack of competitive games, the Westpac has often had less than 4,000 fans at the stadium. But due to more eager away fans and more confident home fans would shoot up attendances.

3. Rise of popularity in football. Again, because of more competition, the popularity of football would rise. More higher attendances and a better team would build more confidence and a better future in the beautiful game.

4. Smaller teams in the OFC would be likely to qualify, due to a more balanced qualification system and if FIFA can figure a way to give the OFC a automatic spot, the small teams get a chance. This is football, everyone deserves a chance at making it to the world cup.

There are probably more benefits, but with these 4 this could help build a future in football in New Zealand.

84. Free the Bavaria Beer Two

As it turns out Blatter & Co would rather have beautiful women in jail than in skimpy dresses.

Jokes aside, the issue is serious, being one which infringes on individual liberties. FIFA thinks they can dictate what people wear to football games, with threats of incarceration for those that fail to comply. If this court case is seen through there is a precedent that can lead to further abuse of the intellectual property laws that have been twisted to suit FIFA's purpose. It is highly questionable to have a sporting body decide how the laws of a nation should be written, causing the arrests of individuals based on these self-serving laws. FIFA has shown themselves to be driven not by sport but by profit.

The second you stop fighting for freedom is the second you start to lose it.

85. The AntiVuvuzela Campaign

The most annoying sound of the world.

The vuvuzela (English pronunciation: /vuːvuːˈzeɪlə/) , sometimes called a "lepatata" (its Tswana name) or a stadium horn, is a blowing horn up to approximately 1 m (3 ft 3 in) in length. It is commonly blown by fans at association football matches in South Africa. The instrument is played using a simple brass instrument technique of blowing through compressed lips to create a buzz, and emits (from the standard shorter horn of about 60–65 cm) a loud monotone (B♭3). A similar instrument (known as corneta in Brazil and other Latin American countries) is used by football fans in South America.

Vuvuzelas have been controversial. They have been associated with permanent noise-induced hearing loss, cited as a possible safety risk when spectators cannot hear evacuation announcements, and potentially spread colds and flu viruses on a greater scale than coughing or shouting. Vuvuzelas have also been blamed for drowning the sound and atmosphere of football games. Commentators have described the sound as "annoying" and "satanic" and compared it with "a stampede of noisy elephants", "a deafening swarm of locusts", "a goat on the way to slaughter", and "a giant hive full of very angry bees".

The sound level of the instrument has been measured at 127 decibels contributing to football matches with dangerously high sound pressure levels for unprotected ears. A new model, however, announced on 14 June 2010, has a modified mouthpiece which is claimed to reduce the volume by 20 dB.

86. England To win the World Cup!

COME ON ENGLAND!!!!

The England national football team represents England in international association football and is controlled by the Football Association, the governing body for football in England. Although most national teams worldwide represent a sovereign state, the four Home Nations which form the United Kingdom are each represented separately in international tournaments, except at the Olympics. England's home ground is Wembley Stadium in London and their head coach is Fabio Capello.

England are one of seven national teams to have won the FIFA World Cup, which they did in 1966 when they hosted the finals. They defeated West Germany 4–2 in extra time in the final. Since then their best performance at a World Cup was reaching the semifinals in 1990, where they lost to West Germany on penalties. They reached the semifinals of the UEFA European Championship in 1968 and 1996. They were the most successful of the home nations in the British Home Championship with 54 wins (including 20 shared wins) before the competition was suspended in 1984. They remain a prominent team on the global stage, rarely dropping outside of the top ten on both the FIFA and Elo rankings.
