2. Legalize Ferrets in California
Out of the 48 other states, California and Hawaii are the only two states which ban the ferret as a pet.
How can 48 other states be wrong? Ferrets are quite the comical creature and make a great pet, even with children!
If only we were allowed to legalize them now.
People have tried for 20 years to have Ferrets legalized in the state of California and every time they tried they were rejected. Wildlife Fish and Game say they are dangerous to humans, but Ferrets are listed as the third best pet to have. If you love these wonderful little animals and are willing to TRY and make a change in our state please sign my Petition to have Ferrets legal in California.
4. Keep ferrets off the list of proposed exotic animal ban in Chicago!
There is a proposed ordinance in Chicago that might make owning a ferret in Chicago illegal. We can't have this. Ferrets are not dangerous, do not carry monkeypox or rabies, and are the third most popular pet just behind dogs and cats! This ordinance needs to remove ferrets from the list.

This petition is for the domesticated ferret to be legalized in the state of California. Please feel free to sign and also get some friends to sign too. We will need all the signatures we can get. If ferrets are to get legalized all ferrets must be vaccinated, neutered and have their booster shot. All ferrets will be treated like any other pets.
