Youth in our nation need times of prayer and Biblical teaching in order to properly make decisions, and need to be encouraged to follow the LORD JESUS CHRIST who alone should be our law giver, judge and King.
Along with requesting times of prayer and Biblical classes in schools, we the undersigned also demand that all evolution classes and classes teaching non-biblical principals be stopped at once since this is teaching a lie to our youth. As the founders of this nation stated, "We are endowed by our Creator with certain inalienable rights .. . .." The founders of this country proclaimed a Creator, as do we. HIS name is JESUS CHRIST.
Over the years, Runescape has been receiving updates which the Runescape community never asked for a dislike.
Runescape was once a community-driven game, with Jagex listening to its customers, and making the game better with little updates. But ever since, they've been bringing updates which the community never wanted and lead to large decline in the number of active players.
The Evolution of Combat is only in beta stages, but like RS2, the community never asked or wanted it. Jagex has been comparing RuneScape to games like World of Warcraft and want to have better graphics.
The Runescape community, however, don't want high-end graphics, they want old Runescape - simple graphics, no blood or gore, simplicity.

There are several nonscholarly sources appearing on Google Scholar. These nonscholarly sources are AnswersInGenesis.org, Creation.com (Creation Ministries International), and ICR.org (Institute for Creation Research). These three groups do not produce scholarly material.
The information in their publications is deeply biased to represent Young Earth Creationism. The material that they publish is devoid of real scientific research and yet attempts to present it as if it were real scientific research. On top of this, these organizations also give out incorrect information as a way to dissuade people from believing real scientific research into matters such as the age of the Earth, and the validity of scientific knowledge such as the Theory of Evolution by natural selection.
Because Google Scholar has some weight, especially to youths doing research for class, it is highly inappropriate for these articles to show up under Google Scholar. Articles such as these, that have a distinct religious agenda and even go as far as giving incorrect information about science, should not be allowed on Google Scholar.
The teaching of Evolution in the school system, is mandatory, This should be a choice. A child should not fail the class, Because they choose not to listen to this theory. If evolution is taught in School. Why not allow creation to be taught also.
Why should a child be forced to listen to this theory, if they do not believe this concept? Teach Creation also. And let the student choose. Let us Christians have a voice! Give Jesus and creation a chance. Give a student the chose of what he may believe. Why is evolution taught as a fact!

It is acknowledged that untold scores of scientist have stated that the idea of particles-to-people evolution does not meet the criteria of the scientific method.
There are no evolutionary transitions that have ever been observed, either during human history or in the fossil record of the past; and the universal law of entropy makes it impossible.
The majority of educated people recognize the religious character of evolutionary theory, it must be believed to be excepted.
Science is knowledge, that which can be demonstrated, observed and repeated. The faith based components of evolution however cannot be proved, or even tested; like every religion they can only be believed.
The theory of evolution is a religious belief, and therefore should not be taught in any public school or university. The court ruled that intelligent design is a religion, and therefore cannot be taught.
Evolution is also a religion, Pharisaic Judaism, and therefore should not be allowed to be taught. The court has made it's decision, and now publicly funded schools must comply.

In Hong Kong, the new senior secondary school biology and combined science curriculum effective from September 2009 contain a statement in the part of evolution that may encourage unscientific theories to be propagated in science classes. The related passage reads:
"In addition to Darwin's theory, students are encouraged to explore other explanations for evolution and the origins of life, to help illustrate the dynamic nature of scientific knowledge."
News media reported that at least 31 secondary schools in Hong Kong have already admitted to teach Creationism and/or Intelligent Design as an alternative to the theory of evolution during science lessons. The Education Bureau first turned their back to the complaining scientists from the University of Hong Kong, but later stated in a TV program that creationism is not “considered as an alternative to Darwin’s theory”.
In the same TV program a secondary school principal lashed out at the scientists for being narrow-minded by expelling religious ideas. Another secondary school principal said on the newspaper that "Our religious belief does not approve of evolution" . In early May 2009, a group of 62 people, including educators and scientists, signed a statement calling for controversial guidelines to be retained because it is "stimulating, balanced, non-biased and has worked well" .
To date, the theory of evolution is the only robust and established scientific theory regarding the biodiversity on Earth. It has stood numerous tests ever since publishing, and is supported by overwhelming evidence and confirmed by other areas of sciences like biochemistry, genetics, anatomy, physics and geology. This central theory in biology has substantially contributed to many of the greatest scientific and technological advancements in modern medicine and agriculture, thus has saved many lives and improved their living.
The other "explanations", such as Creationism or Intelligent Design, are not even consistent with the definition of science, and have been dismissed by scientists worldwide as pseudo-sciences with strong reasons. Scientists have already stated openly and widely that these unscientific ideas should not be taught in science classes .
The problematic statement in the new biology and combined science syllabuses will open a loophole for pseudo-sciences, resulting in a great damage to quality education in Hong Kong, whereby knowledge on the theory and fact of evolution of life on Earth are being concealed, denied, or confused with ideas or notions not testable by science, and thus contradicts the objectives of science education.
There are evidences showing damages have already been made to science education, as schools and teachers with religious background unscrupulously teach Creationism and Intelligent Design during science classes. Education Bureau, as stated in its vision statement, is responsible for providing quality education to our next generation; it must address this problem seriously and with urgency, and clearly expresses their position publicly, to prevent this problem from further spoiling Hong Kong’s international image.

Currently Evolution is on a higher level than Creationism in schools nation wide. Both Darwinism and Creationism is a theory, yet evolution is a dominate course in schools. Although millions believe in Creationism, they are forced to learn about Evolution because it is "Scientific." Yes, religion and State are separate, but if that's so then make evolution equal to creationism because evolution contradicts creationism.
1. All the money in the world is VIRTUAL money, of no real consequence whatsoever (see the EcoTort website). Therefore there is no financial reason for anything. Eg, there is no financial reason why we cannot feed, clothe, house, & educate every person living on the Earth today, AND be 100% eco-responsAble too…!
2. Any contract to damage or destroy the environment is a contract to commit the most serious crime of “Aggravated Criminal Damage” to the environment (max Life Sentence, see the EcoTort website), and is therefore a void, unenforceable contract (which is based upon money which does not exist ! ).
3. According to UNiversal Law it is illegal to pay tax in ANY country of the world (see the EcoTort website) until the World’s Government(s) cease their criminal activities in allowing heinous environmental damage and destruction at present day UNprecedented levels; equivalent to a threat of war, and indeed being the single most likely cause of most conflict (armed and unarmed, domestic and international) in the World today.
4. AT LEAST 60% of everyones wages on the Earth is being collected by the elite bankers of the world, through interest payments on unenforceable contracts, to do with as they please; unelected, unrepresentative, unaccountable, and unacceptable! (see the EcoTort website).
5. Every Police officer promises to “protect life and property, and to uphold the Law”. The most serious threat to life and property, and the most serious breach of the Criminal Law are BOTH due to CRIMINAL environmental damage and destruction, for which the banking elites are demonstrably responsible (see the EcoTort website)..
6. The remedy is through a global implementalion of the principles of Permaculture (see the EcoTort website).
Darwin’s legendary book, On the Origin of Species by Means of Natural Selection; or, the Preservation of Favoured Races in the Struggle for Life, is frequently listed as one of the greatest books ever written. The three critical ideas he developed in it are:
* The fact that evolution occurs.
* The theory of natural selection is the driving force or mechanism behind the process of evolution.
* The concept of phylogeny, that all forms of life are related to one another genealogically, through their pedigree or "family's roots."
In 1859, Lord Palmerston proposed to Queen Victoria that Charles Darwin should be conferred a knighthood. The proposal was abandoned, however, when Bishop Wilberforce intervened to stop the idea as it contradicted the beliefs his religion held on how humans were created. As it was proposed while he was alive but refused on religious grounds I personally believe that this qualifies as a disservice to the process of Knighthood. It was religious persecution, only 'religious logic' was taken as evidence for abandonment. His life's work changed the world forever, he did not set out to claim or nor did he ever claim to defy the existence of god yet was removed from consideration as it went against the teaching of a select number of religions. Therefore I believe the process of attaining knighthood for Darwin was unfairly guided and subjugated purely on the basis of religious persecution at the time. We live in a different age now, I do believe that rectifying this matters.
In the words of Sir Julian Huxley:
"Darwin's work ... put the world of life into the domain of natural law. It was no longer necessary or possible to imagine that every kind of animal or plant had been specially created, nor that the beautiful and ingenious devices by which they get their food or escape their enemies have been thought out by some supernatural power, or that there is any conscious purpose behind the evolutionary process. If the idea of natural selection holds good, then animals and plants and man himself have become what they are by natural causes, as blind and automatic as those which go to mould the shape of a mountain, or make the earth and the other planets move in ellipses round the sun. The blind struggle for existence, the blind process of heredity, automatically result in the selection of the best adapted types, and a steady evolution of the stock in the direction of progress..."
"Darwin's work has enabled us to see the position of man and of our present civilization in a truer light. Man is not a finished product incapable of further progress. He has a long history behind him, and it is a history not of a fall, but of an ascent. And he has the possibility of further progressive evolution before him. Further, in the light of evolution we learn to be more patient. The few thousand years of recorded history are nothing compared to the million years during which man has been on earth, and the thousand million years of life's progress. And we can afford to be patient when the astronomers assure us of at least another thousand million years ahead of us in which to carry evolution onwards to new heights."

Evolution is currently being taught in schools as a fact. It should not be taught a fact, because it goes against the beliefs of many religions.
What is taught in public schools should not offend the religious. I am personally not religious, but I do not believe that evolution should be taught as a fact. Rather it should be taught as a theory.
As time goes on, it is becoming more acceptable to state evolution as a fact inside the education atmosphere. However, the proof for evolution has not increased, but is lacking more and more every day. Stated below are facts that show the theory of evolution lacks substance.
First, there exist no transitional fossils. These are a must-have in order for evolution to even be considered as true. However, all the assumed transitional creatures and intermediate fossils have been found to be their own species.
Second, dating methods such as carbon dating and radiometric dating are not reliable. Carbon dating is based on the assumptions that all organisms take in the same amount of 14C atoms and the ratio of 14C to 12C atoms in our atmosphere are always the same. However, both of these have been proven false. Radiometric dating methods show isotope ratios, which are by no means dates. Also, both of these methods do not work together. 14C atoms only last for "50,000 years," but far too often fossils that are radio metrically dated to millions of years old, contain C14 (such as coal).
These are just a few examples of the large gaps in the evolution theory. As Dr. Patterson from the British Museum of Natural History said, "If I knew of any [transitional] fossils I would certainly recognize them...I will lay it on the line, there is not one such fossil for which one could make a watertight argument [for evolution]."
Teaching evolution on a factual basis is lying to our students, our future leaders.
This petition for Delphi Community High School to offer courses in Biblical Teachings, and to have Creationism taught in Biology, or any other science class, along with Evolution, the Big Bang Theory, etc... Evolution is taught in schools today as a fact, but it is only a theory.
As Dr. Carl Baugh puts it, "Evolution is anti-evidence faith and philosophical propoganda, which does not even qualify to be a scientific hypothesis, much less a proven "fact" of history or science." So if schools teach propoganda, than they can teach the Bible also, and that is what this petition is saying.
Are you a fan of fiction shows like Dark Angel, Buffy the Vampire Slayer or Gargoyles. Are you tired of turning on your TV and finding those shows replaced with more popular shows such as House, Smallvile or American Idol.
Well here is your chance to bring a more desirable breed of television show back to the Australian airwaves. X-men: Evolution was an animated series that initially aired on Channel Nine in 2000 but was cancelled after around 4 episodes. Consequently only the first season was ever available on DVD.
X-men: Evolution follows the exploits of a group of mutants who, as a result of evolution and various other phenomena and events, are endowed with superhuman powers such as telekinesis. They are led by Professor Xavier who mentors them in the responsibilities that come with there gifts and later opens the Xavier Institute to help mutants control there sometimes troublesome gifts, all in his efforts to promote a peaceful co-existence between homo-sapiens and mutants.
X_men: Evolution is set in the past tense of the orginal X-men aniamted series. Therefor, in this particular incarnation many of the X-men are teenagers who, for the most part of the show, live in a social climate where most homo-sapiens are unaware of the existence of mutants. This changes in season three when mutants become exposed and are met with fear and persecution from a mostly ignorant populous.
The main characters include Jean Grey, Evan Daniels (also known as Spyke) and Nightcrawler. Characters from the orginal animated series such as Logan, Storm and Rogue also make an appearance. The main villains included Magneto, The Brotherhood, Mystique and of course, humans.
While this show wasn’t perfect and was cheesy at times I’m sure many fans of Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Gargoyles will agree that unlike modern television shows X-men Evolution possesed a good central concept and many original and inventive ideas. If you’re like me and the recent X-men movies have disillusioned you from the entire X-men franchise then I urge you to give this show a chance and watch some of the better episodes such as Mutant Crush and X23.

On November 8th 2005, the Kansas Board of Education, in a 6-4 vote, voted to absolve the definition of science and redefined it as "no longer limited to the search for natural explanations of phenomena."
This new definition will allow not only the scientific theory of evolution to be discounted, but allow the highly flawed and non-scientific theory of intelligent design to be taught.
However, this is not the first time that the Kansas Board of Education has tried to undermine science. In 1999 they voted to eliminate nearly all references to the highly important scientific theory of evolution from their schools. Luckily, the voters of Kansas were able to retroact this grievous act. Yet, these very same voters allowed the road to be taken again.
It is in this light that drastic measures must be taken to protect not only the citizens of Kansas but the rest of the world.
Few people realize that intelligent design is a science. It is a theory just as evolution is. However schools are not allowed to teach intelligent design, but they are allowed to teach evolution.
Students in our schools are only being exposed to one possible theory on the most primitive questions about our existence. Isn't it the duty of our schools to present students with the information they need to form their own conclusions? How can they be fulfilling their responsibilities if they are not allowed to teach intelligent design?
I personally am a Christian and believe that the theory of intelligent design is true, however my opinion on whether or not the theory of intelligent design is true is irrelevant.
If the theory of evolution is allowed to be taught despite its flaws, then intelligent design should also be taught in our public schools.
Evolution is an outdated theory created by a man hundreds of years ago and has been disproven hundreds of times by many different people and is completely inacurate.
We believe that evolution should not be so strongly depended on, in the Illinois school system, as the exclusive theory on how the world came into existence. We believe evolution should be taught in the schools--but as theory, not as fact. Its challenges and controversies should also be taught along side of it. We believe that other theories (such as creationism) should gain more attention in Illinois classrooms.

In June, 2003, Cartoon Network started airing the 3rd season of 'X-men Evolution' in Hungarian. The voiceovers aren't bad, but they don't live up to the original.
I was upset about this and lo and behold, this petition was born. :D
This petition is to abolish evolution from science textbooks and move it to social studies textbooks since it is technically a religion. Children are being taught evolution as a fact, not a theory.
