1. Stop Animal Euthanization

It has been reported that 350 animals, cats and dogs, have been infected with ringworm. According to studies, ringworm is curable. There are many methods to cure ringworm, but may take a several months.

According to the Canadian Press Article
(http://news.ca.msn.com/canada/cp-article.aspx?cp-documentid=24206729) , OSPCA has decided that euthanization is the best solution because it will take several months to cure ringworm and have no time nor money for this treatment. It has been discovered that the outbreak was caused by human error. Protocols for identifying ringworm in the animals were not followed.

OSPCA should find an alternative, for example, raising money for treatment and taking time to treat the animals oppose to terminating them. There are many alternatives, they should find the best one. An animal should not loose their life because of a human error- it was not their fault, it was human error.

2. Make animal Euthanization illegal

for years animals that nobody wanted have been killed through Euthanization, which is a greek word meaning "good death" first of all there is nothing good about killing animals nobody wants. They would never kill a child in an orphanage, or an elderly person in a nursing home, or a vegetable on life support (without family consent) so why animals? is it because they can't speak, or read? this is a pressing problem, if we ever want to achieve world peace, we have to start at home, this includes not killing the innocent.

3. Against animal euthanization

Puppy mills across the U.S. are responsible for the issue of overpopulation.

Breeding animals contributes to the already six to eight million dogs and cats that are euthanized each year.

4. SAY NO TO GAS CHAMBERS

Help stop the cruel use of gas chambers in America. About six to eight million animals are put into shelters every year. 3 to 4 million never make it out--alive.

While many shelters use a very humane use of euthanization, such as the shot which takes a matter of seconds, many use the cruel gas chamber which a number of dogs have survived. The gas chamber process can take up to three minutes, that's three minutes of pain, three minutes of suffering! We need to stop this!

You can make a difference by signing this petition. Please help the animals. Spay and Neutering animals plays a major part in the gas chambers. People buy puppies because they are "cute." Then they grow up not to be puppies as some people seem to think, but full grown dogs, many unwanted dogs. So how do they get more puppies?

BREEDING, that's how, puppy mill breeding, backyard breeding, thats how. After that they get thrown to the pound, the pound gets overcrowded and they get gassed. SPAY AND NEUTER!!!
