1. Gary Neville to be next England Manager
You know... as much as I disliked him when he was playing, I think Gary Neville is very good at his job with Sky.
He talks a lot of sense, in a style that the ordinary fan can understand. He is also very knowledgeable - knowledge gleaned from a career playing at the very highest level.
It is this fact that adds credence to my belief that he would make a great England manager.
The players would respect him because he has 'been there and done that', he is tactically aware and he is already on the England coaching staff.
More importantly perhaps, the fans would respect him because he would be a young manager who 'says it as it is', and would not pay lip service to the antiquated FA hierarchy.
Critics will argue he has never managed before. I would counter that he has his UEFA coaching badges, and the role of an international manager nowadays is more a media exercise than a dressing room one. - He has proved his excellence in this sphere via Sky's Monday Night Football studio.
So on this St George's Day, I am going to start a petition for Gary Neville to become the next England Manager.
Put your club affiliations aside and please sign if you agree.
P.S. - I'm not a Manchester Utd fan, and Gary Neville is not my uncle. Nor is this a sponsored petition.
2. Stop deportation of Sam Lloyd
Sam Lloyd is being deported for a crime he has already served time for. Sam has lived in the U.S. for 25 and knows no other life.
Sam legally entered the U.S. from England when he was 7 years old. Sam's crime was not a violent offense. Nor was it drug related. Sam has a daughter that was born in the U.S. His family is here. He has nothing left for him in England.
3. ANIMAL CRUELTY MUST STOP NOW!
We demand HARSHER PENALTIES for ANIMAL CRUELTY worldwide!
When we protect our animals, we then are also protecting our society against violence. People who have been known to hurt animals move on to hurt human beings. Widening our circle of compassion to include the animals is not just for sentimental reasons. It makes perfect sense. Animals are connected to people. What happens to them happens to us.
Britain is now in a Double-Dip recession. Now we have a four day weekend and many other bank holidays due to the royal family. This cannot be helping local businesses, and the economy will get worse.
If we ditch the monarchy perhaps we can focus our efforts on better things to boost the economy, for example we could sell the castles and royal homes as tourist attractions, or they could be used to shelter those who don't have homes in Britain at the moment, the royal family can get proper jobs to help or get the normal retirement money like everyone else.
In the 21st century we should not have "Royal" people, everyone is equal, most other monarchy's are now gone and they're probably doing a lot better than we are.
5. Let UK citizens vote in a Scotland Idependance Referendum
I believe this is the ideal opportunity to decide what United Kingdom citizens collectively wish to happen with regard to Scottish Independence.
It costs the UK billions every year to support Scotland. Similarly Scotland would be left with huge debt following separation.
The implications are serious for all UK citizens so it should be the decision of all United Kingdom citizens.
DJ Eco is a fast up and coming Trance DJ. Armin van Buuren has been quoted saying “I seriously don’t know how he does it. Everything this man is touching is turning into pure melodic gold.” on his A State of Trance Radio show.
He currently has no European tour dates, and has only played in Europe a handful of times.
This petition is set up for fans to show a major UK nightclub that fans would turn up in numbers to see him play.
7. Metallica To play a small warm up gig before Download 2012
I'm starting off this petition as a huge and epic request not just from a huge metallica fan but a fan of metal. I run and organise a rock/metal night at DeBees Music Bar in a small town of Winsford, Cheshire, UK and i am opening up this offer to James, Lars, Kirk and Robert to play this venue before taking the stage at the Download Festival, Donington, UK.
You may have heard this from thousands of fans from around the world but at least acknoledge this petition to say yay or nay, i don't have much money but will do ANYTHING to make this happen, so please respone to the e-mail address and will give more info on request.
Thank You.
8. Bring KPop Artists and Bands to the UK
For quite a while now, K-Pop has started to become increasingly popular in the UK. This can be seen by the flashmobs that are held in London, where 100,000 teens turned up in Trafalgar Square re-enacting moves by their favourite K-Pop idols. There are even regular K-Pop club nights that take place. So if K-Pop is so popular why don't we petition for Kpop artists to come to the UK.
Last year (June 2011) SM Town went to Paris and it was proven to be very successful. What's more, this is not a crazy idea that many people think won't happen, companies have been discussing this idea for a while, but they don't know whether or not it will be successful. Therefore we should show them how popular K-Pop artists actually are!
So please sign the petition! If you have any ideas on how to promote this petition further you can contact by by clicking on "contact author here" at the bottom.
PLEASE POST ON FANSITES AND ANYTHING ELSE YOU CAN THINK OF! Thanks :)
9. Change the music in Stop & Shop Supermarkets
Any regular customer to there local Stop & Shop or employee can tell you about the music that plays in these supermarkets. They will agree that the music choices this company decides on to play in there stores is horrendous.
I have heard comments such as "all they play is depressing music about breaking up or heartache" or "it seems as though they picked the worst songs from every decade."
This petition was made so Stop & Shop will change the music they play in there stores to more up to date music. Music that customers/employees would enjoy hearing.
10. Hetalia Movie: America and England's Past, Present and Future
Throughout the anime of Hetalia, no two characters have had the most beautiful and also painful memories as England and America. These two are usually the favorite among all the other historical pairs for many reasons. One of them being there's a tender side to England we only see when he raised America.
The Revolutionary War hurt the two, splitting them apart forever, yet now, they act as if it never happened. They seem too neutral, therefore it makes us wonder. Did they find a resolve after the Revolution or are they keeping their pain from each other?
11. PUBLIC APOLOGY FROM BBC WORLD HAVE YOUR SAY
On Monday 8th August 2011, during the height of major civil unrest, BBC World Have Your Say on the BBC World Service broadcast a phone-in debate on the England riots entitled "Is there a problem with young black men?".
The programme made a clear link between the England riots and the idea that the cause was due to a problem with young black men in general. It invited calls and comments from around the world to respond.
There is no editorial justification for the topic and the majority of comments on the World Have Your Say Facebook site reflect the dismay and shock that this subject has been deemed worthy of a respected international broadcaster.

The BBC's own editorial guidelines state:
"5.4.38. We aim to reflect fully and fairly all of the United Kingdom's people and cultures in our services. Content may reflect the prejudice and disadvantage which exist in societies worldwide but we should not perpetuate it. In some instances, references to disability, age, sexual orientation, faith, race, etc. may be relevant to portrayal. However, we should avoid careless or offensive stereotypical assumptions and people should only be described in such terms when editorially justified."
12. Abolishment of Prescription Charges in England
England is now the only country in the so called 'United' Kingdom that pays prescription charges. Northern Ireland, Wales and Scotland all pay nothing.
This is unfair and undemocratic. People who live in England have been taking it for too long.
13. Cinema & Bowling Alley Complex in Trowbridge Wilthire
There has been a promise of amenities for young people in Trowbridge Wiltshire for many years. Many promises have been disappointed.
There are stark few resources for young people, but The County Town of Wiltshire has failed its young people for many years. Even now, in these challenging financial times failing young people is a big mistake.
14. Bring Martyne Payne back Home to NZ
Martyne Payne a hard working man moved to NZ in Nov 2005 with his family and worked hard to establish a business where he has hired locals and is held in high regard by his community.
He has been deported from NZ even though his family is here now and his thriving business will suffer where he has paid large taxes to the Government continually since his arrival and turned a local garage that was not thriving to one that is now successful and employing people .He is not a strain on the tax payer and we feel that on moral and compassionate grounds that the Minister allow him to return.
15. End Lib-Dem cooperation with the Coalition
A coalition is when two or more parties in government work together, either because of similar ideology or to achieve an elective majority, theoretically reaching compromises on important subjects to achieve a roughly even legislative record (issue #1 goes to party A, issue #2 goes to party B in exchange. It's not ideal, but both parties get something they want).
This coalition fails in both of those regards.
The Lib-Dems do not, and should not, have even a remotely similar political ideology to the Conservative Party. Similarly, the Tories have little to nothing in common with the Lib-Dems, and compromises on major issues have been non-existent. Instead, only a series of humiliating concessions have been made, and the Prime Minister has seen fit to lend his weight to sabotaging even these, as has been made clear with the referendum.
This is not a coalition, it is a Tory government masquerading as a coalition, pinning the blame for their actions on the Liberal Democrats whilst slowly eating their electoral base.
It is a state of affairs that cannot continue, and thus the Liberal Democrats must salvage what is left of their reputation and leave this ship of government before they are nailed to the mast. They do not deserve the criticisms aimed at them, and if they are to avoid decimation at the next election they must realise their mistake early, pull out, and assume a campaign of coordinated blocking of the government's supposed-reforms until concessions are made on major points of Lib-Dem policy and tangible results are produced as a result.
16. Give us a Referendum on Proportional Representation
The public are unhappy with the current voting system and the proposed AV system is too complicated and of little interest to the majority of the public as will be shown by today's low turn out. The public have become disenfranchised with politics and our patriotism has been shaken.
Many other countries with excellent governments and economies use Proportional Representation voting systems such as Party List Voting, e.g. Belgium, Denmark, Sweden, Italy, Portugal and South Africa. It can be implemented simply with little if no additional costs. Other PR systems are still in use in Australia, New Zealand, Ireland and Germany on of the strongest economies in Europe. Voting turn out is getting lower and lower every election, the public are not happy with the current situation and revolts will become more common.
The public need to know and SEE their votes and opinions count, AV is not enough and people think you are not listening to them. They need honest politics where a coalition works together and is honest when they dislike or like the others policies. Please give us a referendum on PR so we can show you how we feel and listen to the results so we know you have our interests at heart.
17. Get Super Junior to come to England

Super Junior had a Super Show in France in April (2012), sadly it was not to England, but this is all because people let SM know how many people liked Super Junior there! So please ELFs pleeeeease, sign the petition. We can do this! We just have to work together!
Lets bring SS5 here! All we need to do now is show SM how much we want them to come here! To do that SIGN the petition and spread the news to EVERYONE YOU KNOW!
POST this petition ON FAN SITES and ANYTHING ELSE you can think of! Thanks (:
If you like other K-Pop artists as well, then please sign Bring KPop Artists and Bands to the UK | Online Petition Thank you.
18. SLS: Super League Show for England & Wales
Currently the BBC only broadcast 'The Super League Show' in afternoon and evening slots across Northern England regions (North East & Cumbria, North West, Yorks & Lincs, Yorkshire). Whilst viewers in the Midlands, Southern England and Wales can only see it in the very early hours of the morning (usually between 12:00am and 4:00am).
We would like the programme to be broadcast in it's usual afternoon/evening schedule across the whole of England and Wales from 2012.
This is desired because there are now a large number of Rugby League fans living outside of the four Northern England regions mentioned above, as well as two professional clubs that currently play in the Super League competition. We believe that currently the BBC is not making the programme accessible to a broad audience and attempting to widen it's appeal*.
* Part of the BBC One remit.
19. Ban the forcing of Halal meat on to the People of Great Britain!
!!!PLEASE BE SURE TO CLICK ON "SIGN PETITION" AT THE BOTTOM OF THE PAGE!!!!
The killing of animals is a shame but as the slaughter of animals is necessary to feed the many millions of meat eaters living in Great Britain it is vital that these animals are slaughtered in the most humane (Painless) way possible.
In a FSA approved slaughter house all animals are stunned prior to slaughter so the animal feels no pain or suffering at all.
But in a FSA exempt slaughter houses I.e Halal slaughter houses animal are not stunned prior to slaughter. Slaughter is carried out with a single cut to the throat, rather than the more widespread method of stunning with a bolt into the head before slaughter. Under Islamic law, an animal must be slaughtered by having its throat cut while it is conscious. The person carrying out the killing has to recite an Arabic verse at the time. Campaign group the Christian Institute, said: ‘The idea of having Islamic ritual said over meat would be objectionable to some Christians. I would find it objectionable, so it should be labelled as Halal.’
The Farm Animal Welfare Council (FAWC), which advises the government on how to avoid cruelty to livestock, says the way Halal meat is produced causes severe suffering to animals. They say “cattle can take up to two minutes to bleed to death - amounting to severe pain and distress to the animals”.
The RSPCA believes that religious beliefs and practise should be respected but also believe that animals should only be slaughtered under the most humane conditions.
Halal food is everywhere. According to recent news reports, it is being "secretly" snuck into your sandwich or fed to your child in their school dinner. It's also found in hospital canteens, pubs, sporting venues and most fast food out lets.
Britain's biggest supermarket chains are selling Halal lamb and chicken without telling unsuspecting shoppers. Those stocking meat slaughtered according to Islamic law include Waitrose, Marks & Spencer, Sainsbury’s, Tesco, Somerfield and the Co-op. But the UK’s second-biggest supermarket, Asda, has refused to confirm or deny whether it sells Halal meat.
Most lamb imported from New Zealand by British supermarkets has been slaughtered according to Islamic law, but this is not mentioned on packaging. Some lamb from British abattoirs is also Halal.
The country’s biggest hotel and restaurant group, Whitbread– which owns the Beefeater and Brewers Fayre chains – was also selling Halal food, as were well-known sporting venues such as Ascot, Twicken¬ham and Wembley.
The Jewish faith have a similar slaughter method call Shechita but there are no Shechita slaughter houses in the UK. Members of the Jewish faith respect our laws and import their own Shechita meat to be sold only in registered Jewish supermarkets.
Why is it that a blind eye is being turned to the Halal labelling of food? Because it is politically correct not to say anything about it incase it offends the Islamic community within Britain?
Sorry but that is wrong. Halal products and outlets must be labelled so that the general public can have a choice. Why force it upon people. Why can it not be treated the same as Shechita meat! Well labelled and sold only in Jewish shops! If followers of Islam want Halal meat why can they not do the same as Members of the Jewish faith?
PLEASE SIGN IF YOU WANT YOUR MEAT LABELLED!
20. Abolish Prescription charges in England
Only in England now do we pay prescription charges which must be subsidising the other parts of the UK who all pay nothing for medicines or prescriptions.
It is grossly unfair that the people in England are treated any different to other parts of the UK. It is divisive and promotes ill feelings between neighbours and countrymen.
21. Re-Election, get the tories and ConDems out!
The Benefit cuts, the needless spending on unwanted things with our tax money, the privatization of our public sectors, the cuts on our council, the outright breach of human rights and the government smiling as they do so.
22. Support a People's Constitution
1. Make a new people's constitution where all are accountable to the people;
2. A fully transparent system run by the people for the people with the environment taking the lead.
23. Save George and Nobby's medals
Stretford-End.com are setting up this petition to Manchester United Football Club, its players and employees, and the English Football Association to alert them to the already public situation of the families of former players Nobby Stiles and George Best.
Both players represented United with distinction yet both players medals and other mementoes are due to be sold at auction due to the families hitting financial difficulties. Nobby Stiles collection will be sold at Convery Auctions in Edinburgh on October 27th and George Bests at Bonham’s auction house in Chester on October 20th.
We've had Bold & The Beautiful & Young & Restless on the air for a number of years. Both shows have a huge UK following & fan base, the bold & the beautiful even has a forum on Diva TV. These two shows allow fans to escape reality for 45 minutes of the day.
It might not seem like much but these shows have become part of people's everyday lives. I believe that the stations should cater to what the fans want & need. The Bold & The Beautiful is the highest rated show on Diva Tv FACT! It does not make sense that the station would remove its highest rated show.
BRING BACK ALL OUR US SOAPS.
"It is one of the most debated points of the beautiful game, and the argument for the introduction of technology in football was bought to the fore again today.
England midfielder Frank Lampard thought, along with the vast majority of people packed into the Free State Stadium in Bloemfontein, that his cute lob had pulled England level against Germany.
Replays showed the ball to have landed at least a foot over the line, but two men remained unmoved, the referee and his assistant.
FIFA chief Sepp Blatter, the most vocal defender of keeping the game 'pure' sat watching in the stands. As the boos rang out at half-time he may well have turned a funny shade of red.
It was Blatter, along with football's rule-makers, who in March this year shut the door on goal-line technology and effectively ended any chance of video replays coming into the game.
FIFA general secretary Jerome Valcke said: 'The door is closed. The decision was not to go ahead with technology at all.' But a number of viable methods have been put forward in recent years, from the simple reference of a fourth official using TV replays to the implementation of HawkEye between the posts. HawkEye is already used successfully in cricket and tennis but is seen by FIFA as having no place in football.
Yet incidents like the one which damaged England's World Cup hopes keep happening and the impact of the decisions grows ever greater. Having occurred on the grandest stage of all, perhaps Lamparad's 'goal' can now be the watershed moment. Blatter will do well to remember the reaction." - Taken form an article by Matt Fortune of the Daily Mail.
Sepp Blatter needs to realise the truth about goal line technology, even if Germany played well there is no doubting whatsoever that the disallowed goal may have changed the complexion of the game and indeed many of the other decisions of the World Cup.
26. Force FIFA to use Goal Line Technology
After the debacle that was Frank Lampard's disallowed goal (THAT WAS CLEARLY A GOAL) was shown on TV as a clear goal. This just proves that FIFA need to start using Goal line technology as an aid to officials in matches.
Situations like this should no longer be part of football, technology like this is in use in other sports, so why is Sepp Blatter so against it, if he does not want it then maybe it was time he was replaced too.
27. Remove the England Flag from above Number 10
Remove the England Flag from Above Number 10 Placed there for World Cup.
The British Government today announced it was replacing the union jack above number 10 downing street (British Flag) with the St. Georges Flag (English Flag) for the duration of the World Cup.
The British Government (a coalition between Conservative and Liberal Democrat Parties) was elected by the British Public and so the flag above 10 Downing Street should reflect this.
28. England To win the World Cup!
COME ON ENGLAND!!!!
The England national football team represents England in international association football and is controlled by the Football Association, the governing body for football in England. Although most national teams worldwide represent a sovereign state, the four Home Nations which form the United Kingdom are each represented separately in international tournaments, except at the Olympics. England's home ground is Wembley Stadium in London and their head coach is Fabio Capello.
England are one of seven national teams to have won the FIFA World Cup, which they did in 1966 when they hosted the finals. They defeated West Germany 4–2 in extra time in the final. Since then their best performance at a World Cup was reaching the semifinals in 1990, where they lost to West Germany on penalties. They reached the semifinals of the UEFA European Championship in 1968 and 1996. They were the most successful of the home nations in the British Home Championship with 54 wins (including 20 shared wins) before the competition was suspended in 1984. They remain a prominent team on the global stage, rarely dropping outside of the top ten on both the FIFA and Elo rankings.
29. We should be allowed to hang England Flags and wear England t-shirts for the World Cup
For the world cup 2010, England have been informed that English flags will not be allowed to be flown, and England tops will not be allowed to be worn as it offends people from different countries and different cultures. This is against human rights and is wrong.
It is our country and we should be allowed to fly our own flag and wear our football teams t-shirts.
30. England fans should be able to support our country's football team openly
Well you have all heard about how were not supposed to be allowed to wear our England shirts or how we're not allowed to fly mighty England flag due to other ethic minorities not being happy about it during the world cup season.
