1. Make Schnazzy an official word 
The word Schnazzy has long been used in schools around the globe. In this fast-changing world, we plead that the Oxford English dictionary recognize this word as true English.
The D.R.E.A.M. Act would allow children and students who have grown up in the United States, have graduated from high school and have no criminal record, to attend and complete college or serve 2 years in the military to legalize their immigration status.
Marketa is a beautiful person with many great qualities who's dreams and heart is in this amazing country. She cares for Australia dearly, looks after the environment, spreads the positive vibes and wisdom.
She is hardworking and honest and lived in this country 7 years, caring for Australian eldery, Australian infants, and teaching Australians of productive age yoga and that way promoting general well-being and creating happiness. Paying taxes and excessive college fees. Marketa does not fit in any of the boxes artificially created by Immigration Law and therefore does not qualify for permanent residency in Australia even though living in Australia is her biggest dream and she is loved by many Australians and their children.
4. Enact the DREAM Act in 2009
The DREAM Act is a bipartisan proposal, which would create a pathway to citizenship for thousands of young students who were brought to the United States years ago as children.
If Congress fails to act this year, another class of outstanding, law-abiding high school students will graduate without being able to plan for the future, and some will be removed from their homes to countries they barely know.
This tragedy will cause America to lose a vital asset: an educated class of promising immigrants students who have demonstrated a commitment to hard work and a strong desire to contributing members of our society.
5. Dream Theater Australia 2008, Venue change for Perth
Dream Theater are performing an Australian tour early next year (2008), with the following dates:
January
25th Perth Showgrounds
27th Adelaide Showgrounds
29th Melbourne Festival Hall
30th Sydney The Horden
February
1st Brisbane Riverstage
They start the tour in Perth, on the 25th at Claremont Showgrounds. It is feared that the show is intended to be held at the Showground's Robinson Pavilion.
It is a general consensus of the metal community, among many other fans of the band, as well as fans of other genres who have seen other acts/bands there, that the venue "Robinson Pavilion" is unsuitable for Dream Theater's performance, mostly on the basis of the sound quality of the venue, compared to the nature of the bands on-stage act.
It is believed that such a venue would taint the quality of the performance to the ears of those who would attend, hence it is proposed that the Perth date for the Dream Theater tour, be moved to another venue. Possible suggestions include: Challenge Stadium, Burswood Dome, Metro City.
If you agree that that Dream Theater should be at a different, more suitable venue, please place your signature on the petition.
6. Make the California DREAM a Reality: Increase Financial Aid
The California DREAM act would qualify California undocumented students for state and institutional financial aid.
7. Elimination from the selection for the United States Air Force
The reason for my elimination is that I have minor disability due to being blind in one eye. But, no record has been issued stating that I am disabled. However I am physically fit and able to perform the tasks demanded by the Armed Forces during and after basic training.
I am willing to provide the proper documentation from my physicians stating that I am able to execute the necessary duties. this matter infringes on the statutes set forth in anti-discrimination laws.
Discrimination is treatment or consideration based on class or category rather than individual merit; partiality or prejudice. As an American Citizen I am entitled to the same opportunities that all other citizens are entitled. My dream is to be a part of the United States Air Force so that I may take part in a legacy of excellence and contribute to my fellow man.
I hope to be considered for training as an Air Craft Mechanic, Medic, Weather Officer or anything that deals with computers and aircraft navigation systems. I know there are many jobs I am not qualified to do, but I want to perform any job that i can.
I am certainly qualified for any of the aforementioned positions.
I am asking for the opportunity to join the Air Force and make my family proud by protecting this nation. This has been my dream since I was a young child. I want to put my life on the line to protect this country, which has done so much for me.
Please help me fulfill my potential and serve the United States. With Your help, my dream of doing this could happen.
8. Stop LB 1024

After the almost year long debate of the "One City, One School District" dispute between OPS and Millard/Ralston school districts, legislature passed the LB 1024 proposal that would seperate OPS into three school districts, based on location throughout the city.
LB 1024 splits OPS across at 72nd street, and down Dodge Street. There will be no more magnet schools, and "equal" funding will be presented to each district.

Ever since Dream Street broke-up things have definitely changed. Whenever you pick up a magazine you will see pictures of the guys all over the magazines. Actually, that isn't quite the case. Am I the only one who notices that we usually only see articles/pictures on Chris, Greg & Jesse. It may be because as of right now they are more involved in the music business, but Frankie & Matt are still fulfilling their dreams of being in the spotlight once again. If you feel the same way I do, then sign this petition! You'll feel good knowing that you helped Frankie & Matt get in more magazines. I have a dream, my poor little children, that one day, I may moderate the loc board with my monkey bretheren. Well today, this dream is now. We must fight against the humanoid oppressors. 17. Our Husband/dad Deserves a New Trial
Our husband/dad was convicted of arson and was sent to prison two years ago. During the trial there was no concrete evidence shown and there was no motive shown. My husband was contracted to tear an old barn down in lieu of six months rent to a property he rented. Two weeks into the contract the barn burnt to the ground. My husband stood to gain nothing from the barn burning, in fact, he lost the contract and was forced to vacate the property. There was no insurance on the barn so that was not even a motive.
Family history: I was attending school and our dream has always been to open a respite care facility for special needs children. We were both working toward that goal. The burning of the barn literally caused our dreams to go up in smoke. My husband had no reason to burn down the barn and he would NEVER do such a horrible thing. We also both have strong convictions of right and wrong and doing such a deed is just wrong. We both love children and with this conviction we have no hope of ever achieving our dream. We were forced to have a public defender who did nothing but sit back and watch my husband and my children's dad get railroaded.
Please, help us get my husband back into court. We have since found a good Christian lawyer who would defend my husband like he deserved to be defended. We just want our husband/dad home. Thank You and God bless you.

18. We want Unknown to open up for Wave
A new Canadian R&B/pop Boy Band that are called 'Unknown', consists of 3 members: Brandon Paris, Steve Cox and Dana Jorgensen. Unknown is very talented and dedicated to their music. They keep in touch with their fans closely. Basically, they are very good at what they do. The band has many fans all across Canada and the US so far. As a fan, I see them working hard and trying to achieve their dream. Fans have been promoting them all around concerts,malls and schools. It's not about Money, its about doing something they love.
