1. Justice for Daniel Bowers SR
On March 15th, my dad, Daniel Bowers SR was killed in a motorcycle accident. My dad was going east on 104th and Washington and a guy in truck pulled out in front of him, making a left turn going west causing my dad to slam into his back left tire. He died of impact. The man is being charged with reckless driving resulting in death, which in the state of Colorado is a misdemeanor.
We have 10 witness reports stating that the guy rushed out of the parking lot trying to beat my dad and another car. The car was able to move out of the way my dad tried everything he could do to stop but he wasn't too lucky. The guy took away a very loved man. He was a father of three, a grandpa, a brother, a son, a best friend and so much more. It's not far the guy gets to live his life like nothing happened. We lost a very important piece in our lives that we will never get back. The less that could happen is the guy gets charge with a felony. It just seems like all he gets is a slap on the hand and he gets to go on with his life. I know he's living with guilt but it's not the same.
I want to see something happen even if he doesn't get charge, I do not want this to happen to anyone else's loved ones. It should be a law that if you are charged with reckless driving resulting in death the charges should be a felony.
2. Death Sentence for Anene Booysens rapists
"Impose the harshest sentences on such crimes, as part of a concerted campaign to end this scourge in our society," said Zuma in a statement.
Anene Booysen (17) was found by security guards at a construction site in Bredasdorp on the weekend. She was gang-raped and mutilated, and later died of her injuries in hospital. Reuters reported that she had been cut "from her stomach to her genitals". Zuma described the crime as shocking, cruel, and inhumane. "It has no place in our country. We must never allow ourselves to get used to these acts of base criminality to our women and children." Booysen reportedly identified her attackers before she died at Tygerberg Hospital on Saturday evening.
Doctor describes brutality
Die Burger reported on Thursday on the brutality of her injuries as described by the doctor who treated her. He said that he felt it necessary for the public to know the extent of her attackers' cruelty. He described in detail how her torso was ripped open, after which one of the attackers stuck his hand in her and ripped out her intestines. "She lost a large portion of her intestines. That is why she didn't survive," The doctor said. Another source confirmed the doctor's description. The source said that police who appeared on the scene had to pick up Booysen's intestines which were strewn around her. They were covered in sand.
Arrests
Her 22-year-old ex-boyfriend, Johnathan Davids, was arrested in connection with the crime. According to a source Boosyen and Davids were childhood friends and visited each other's parents' houses. Davids appeared in the Bredasdorp Magistrate's Court on Tuesday on charges of rape and murder. He will appear again on February 12. A second man, aged 21, was arrested in Bredasdorp on Wednesday night.
The Police and Prisons Civil Rights Union (Popcru) said it was satisfied with the progress police had made so far. "The arrest of two men in connection with this vicious crime should serve as a lesson to rapists and murderers whose aim is to infect our societies with despicable evil," said Popcru spokeswoman Theto Mahlakoana. The union called on society to stand up against crime and share any information related to the incident with police.
Condemnation
Various other organisations and unions also condemned the crime. The Congress of the People (Cope) said the brutality of the Booysen attack, allegedly committed by those she knew, was not only shocking but an act of depravity. "Cope is horrified South Africa has unfortunately and regrettably become the rape capital of the world," said Cope MP Beryl Ferguson. She said this also proved that the department of women, children and people with disabilities, police, and communities had failed to curb this crime. "It is also deeply disturbing that neither of the departments seems to have any clue nor even a workable programme to ensure that women in South Africa are protected from rape," she said. Government expressed shock and outrage at the crime. "They must face the full wrath of the law… those who molest and abuse children have no place in a democratic South Africa," said Government Communication and Information System acting CEO Phumla Williams. – Sapa

3. Harsher laws for drinking and driving
There are so many people who get killed by drunk drivers. On November 18, 2012 Larry Schofield was on a tow putting a van onto his truck bed when a drunk driver struck him, killing him, and kept driving. 6 hours after the incident he blew 3 times the legal limit.
Let's get this stopped!
Resident Evil 3.5 was a beta version of the well known game called Resident Evil 4. This version, also known as "The Hooked Man", "Fog Version" and "Early Version" was never released to public because it didn't really look like a Resident Evil game and it was extremely scary.
The reason why the version was pulled off is the same reason why we all gamers want to play it so bad! This version was so powerful that is brought another beloved franchise called "Devil May Cry". I'll post 4 YouTube links of videos that explain better what is this version and if you like its content, make sure to let Capcom know about it! We, gamers, appreciate it!

5. Stop the Keystone Pipe Line
Why we should oppose TransCanada’s Keystone XL Pipeline:
TransCanada does not care about landowners:
They have coerced families into signing fraudulent contracts and used eminent domain to take their land by force.
The pipeline threatens our health:
Toxic tar sands are corrosive and spill more often than crude. Spills are too difficult to cleanup. TransCanada’s pipeline threats the health of millions.
Grandmother and Texas landowner, Susan Scott has fought TransCanada for 4 years. She was unable to make an informed decision on TransCanada’s contract, which falsely described the pipeline as transporting crude oil, and not diluted bitumen (toxic tar sands).
Susan was bullied into signing with TransCanada after threats of land seizure by eminent domain.
U.S. pipeline company Enbridge is responsible for the worst tar sands spill in North America--and its total cover-up. Despite the warning signs, Enbridge allowed about one million gallons of toxic tar sands to spill in the Kalamazoo river. Over 200 people became sick, and the river’s fish all died. Enbridge paid for people’s silence and literally buried the spill.
Why we should oppose TransCanada’s Keystone XL Pipeline:
TransCanada has no integrity: They lie to landowners, indigenous communities, and regulators. TransCanada is a corporation that cannot be trusted with our communities’ safety.
Tar sands extraction is the most destructive plan on Earth: It produces four-times the carbon emissions as compared to crude oil. It will destroy a forest the size of NY state.
TransCanada has repeatedly lied about the contents of their pipeline. They claim it will transport crude oil, but we know that it will contain toxic tar sands. The contents of TransCanada’s pipelines are kept secret, even to regulators after dozens of uncleaned toxic spills. TransCanada lies to indigenous communities, and tramples their land and burial grounds.
Lies from TransCanada:
Tar sands exploitation has already destroyed 170,000 acres of ancient forest in Canada. There is no hope for regrowth.
With tar sands, Canada has no plan to comply with the carbon reduction agreements they signed, and their emissions will only make our climate crisis much, much worse.
6. Stop the abuse of fireworks! legal and illegal!
In Trinidad and Tobago, the abuse of fireworks on special occasions such as Divali and New Years Day is becoming more and more of a menace.
Impromptu surveying of citizens both over the internet and face to face show that the ill effects of abuse of not just illegal fireworks such as "scratchbombs" but also legally available fireworks over an extended period of hours not just affects human beings negatively, but also causes significant ill effects to animals.
Listed among the complaints given by citizens are: increased anxiety attacks/ ill effects to those suffering from nervous disorders, increased number of accidental and on occasion, even intentional burns caused by the setting off of fireworks in close contact to human beings and animals. increased damage to homes and other places of abodes caused by setting off of fireworks in close proximity to such establishments, death of animals due to heart attacks caused by extensive fright due to the loud noise of activated fireworks.
These complaints were given on a widescale and were not limited to any one geographical area.
7. Bullies to Bootcamp (Victims have rights)
In memory of Amanda Todd & all others. After a 15 year old female, was victimized and made her commited suicide after being bullied by many teenagers.
Help prevent & end Bullying now.
8. Ban Tractor Trailers on Highway 8
After the recent unfortunate deaths of the two young 18 year-olds (Dustin Peers and Chase Hudye) on Hwy 8 in August 2012, a small group of families from Elbow Valley and Lower Springbank got together. These families all have kids who were friends with Dusty and Chase.
After a couple of meetings, we established our agenda, which is to “make Hwy 8 safer for the residents and cyclists who frequent this road”. It became very clear that a divided, twinned Hwy 8 is years away, so the interim solution, in our opinion, is to remove the heavy truck traffic from this highway.
There are 3 other alternate heavy truck routes through Calgary from the west to Hwy 2 south, and the current Hwy 8 route is the only one that is a 2-lane undivided highway. To accomplish this, all it takes is some No Heavy Trucks signage, Provincial approval, RCMP enforcement, and your support.
Please join us in this worthwhile endeavour to save lives in our Springbank Community. Help us by please writing to our website www.NotOn8.ca, Rockyview Municipal Council, your MLA, the Provincial Minister of Transportation and our Premier.
9. Supporting Alan Jones and Freedom of Speech in Australia
This petition has been generated in support of Alan Jones in the face of the negative campaign being run against him and his position as presenter at 2GB.
The targeting of the station's sponsors is designed to force the station's hand in this matter and does not let the natural course of supply and demand in business, i.e. ratings competitiveness, take place.
Nearly 2,800 innocent men, women and children died September 11, 2001. Many fire fighters and policemen serving their country sacrificed their own lives to save others. Since then, war has erupted and even more death befell upon our country.
The horrendous act of terrorism has changed the United States forever and on its anniversary our district should take a day off to celebrate the lives of those who had lost them.
11. Change US gun laws so that they protect the people
United States firearm laws need to be changed as they no longer protect the people. There are over 40,000 firearm related incidences every year in the US, 23% of which are intentional homocides.
Going on a per 100,000 inhabitants:
America has 3.0 intentional homocides ever year; compared to
UK (0.073)
Germany (0.2)
Australia (0.1)
How many more innocent people need to be killed before the US government realises something needs to change?
Yes, I'm aware the guns don't kill people, people kill people but guns make it easier for people to kill people which is what they are doing.
If people who actually needed firearms had them and were licensed to have them then America would be a whole lot safer then it currently is.
But No, ANYONE can go and buy a gun "for their own protection"....protection from what? other people with guns? Can you see where i'm going? Not everyone needs a gun which would mean not everyone would need a gun to protect themselves.
The Law as it stands is now working against itself and doing the complete opposite of what it was designed to do.
Every 1 in 1.5 Americans possess a firearm, surely not everyone of those people is in the right frame of mind to hold such weapons.
Less guns = less massacres, less homocides, safer America.

12. Investigate death of Chavis Martin: Arkansas Man's death is suspicious
Chavis Carter was a 21 year old black male stopped with two other white males in Jonesboro, Arkansas. When officers stopped the vehicle, they smelled marijuana. At this time Carter was handcuffed and searched TWICE! During the search, officers found a dime bag of marijuana, but are claiming to have missed a gun. Carter called his girlfriend and told her that he would call her once he got to jail.
The two other men were allowed to leave... and somewhere something went far left. Despite being left handed, handcuffed, searched two times and placed in the back seat of the car, police and Jonesboro authorities are claiming that Carter committed suicide by shooting himself with his own gun in the right side of his head. The officers on the scene claim they thought the gun shot was a piece of metal in the street that got ran over and that they found Carter's body in the back seat. Authorities have recently released a video showing how this could happen and have ruled his death a suicide.
There are so many questions that need answers...how was the gun missed during two searched? How did he manage to get the gun to shoot himself in the right side of his head, being handcuffed? Being left handed, why was he shot in the right side of his head? If he was going to commit suicide, why call his girlfriend and tell her he would be phoning her once he got to jail? How did the officers not know that that was a gun shot when it was that close to them?
Sign the petition showing Jonesboro Police that we don't believe their investigation findings and will not let the issue go. There are questions that need answers and we demand them. When is enough enough?
On August 12, Ayoub Madni, a 19 year-old young man died in Le Diamant Vert swimming pool, Fès, Morocco, because he did not receive the vital help on time.
Swimmers and witnesses reported they told lifeguards they could feel parts of a human being in the bottom of the pool, but the guards did not take it seriously.
One of Ayoub’s friends had to insist agonizingly on the guards to take action when it was too late: Ayoub had already died. This is not the first case that happened in this swimming pool. Other deadly negligence occurred in previous years. Le Diamant Vert is one of the most expensive swimming pools in Fès, overcrowded by night on Ramadan and during the uncommon heat wave of this summer. However, basic conditions of safety, such as providing enough light poles and a sufficient number of lifeguards, are not respected nor enforced. If previous youngsters’ deaths went unnoticed, let us make Ayoub’s an opportunity- however tragic and unjust- to prevent other catastrophic deaths out of the negligence of this organization.
We, the undersigned, call on the Moroccan authorities and local authorities in Fès to hold, Le Diamant Vert, accountable for their negligence.
14. Support the Right to Die Campaign
We are a group of year 10 students from Carshallton Girls, trying to raise awareness of the serious subject of Euthanasia.
15. Release Mohammad Ali Salmani Nodoushan
Charges:
1. Conversion to Christianism;
2. Persistence on New Faith;
3. Pro-human rights activity
Items 1 to 3 all automatically entail a death sentence.
16. Justice for Breanna Ritchie
This petition is so that justice can be severed for Breanna Ritchie who was killed in a car wreck with the driver being RYAN Pirrello was driving twice the speed limit at estimated speed of 75 mph on a road posted 45.
He lost control in a curve killing Breanna Ritchie, 16 years old. He had trace amounts of drugs in his system but wasn't high enough to be charged with a greater charger so the max sentence he can receive is 5 years in prison. The least is probation. His lawyer is trying to get him the least.
By signing this petition you are asking that he receive the max sentence in prison of 5 years with no parole.
This is a small price to pay for taking a life !
17. Get Bestgore.com off the net
This site offers people to watch all kinda of graphic videos of murder, rape, animal attacks and other videos kids, youth or anyone can watch.
It's a site that should not be able to be online and active!
Abortions are taking the life of Innocent fetuses. People say abortion should be legal if the pregnancy is because of rape or incest, according to abortionblackout.com only 1% of abortions are because of rape or incest.
Also according to abortionblackout.com 31% of all abortions are paid for by our tax dollars though medicaid.
19. Abolish the death penalty in Florida
The death penalty has become time consuming, cost-inefficient and has had no clear effect on the deterrence of crime. In a time of economic recovery, the call to abolish a wasteful punishment is way past due.
It is time we stop allowing the government to put our budget in the death penalty and start putting it into education and health care.
20. SAVE OUR ORANGUTANS FROM EXTINCTION
The Orangutans are the two exclusively Asian species of extant great apes that are native to Indonesia and Malaysia. Highly intelligent creatures they share almost the same characteristics as we do the human species.
Native to Indonesia and Malaysia, Orangutans are currently found only in the rainforests of Borneo and Sumatra. Classified in the genus Pongo, there are only two surviving species.
Both Orangutan species are considered to be Endangered with the Sumatran Orangutan being Critically Endangered. Threats to Orangutan populations include poaching, habitat destruction and the illegal pet trade.
The Orangutan has a new threat though, shoppers thirst for palm oil is now threatening to wipe the whole species of the face of the earth.
The demand for a cheap ingredient found in thousands of products, from shampoo to biscuits, is contributing to the extinction of the Orangutan.
One in 10 mass-produced foods on the worlds supermarket shelves is estimated to contain palm oil, a bulking agent and preservative, but supermarkets and food manufacturers have been accused of doing too little to ensure their supplies are not threatening forests that are vital to the survival of Asia's only great ape.
An estimated 5,000 Orangutans are killed each year in Malaysia and Indonesia by the burning of vast tracts of virgin forest to supply the world's growing demand for palm oil. Building roads to the plantations has made the situation worse, by opening up the jungle for poachers, who kill Orangutan mothers and sell their babies as pets to Asian families.
Only 3 days ago a mother and her new born child was murdered by an angry mob of palm oil workers for the crime of foraging for food that they are finding hard to obtain as of the destruction of their forest / habitat.
Conservationists say Britain, the second biggest importer of palm oil in the EU, could do more. They want the Government to make companies responsible for the environmental impact of their activities in the Company Law Reform Bill. Five major food retailers - Sainsbury, Marks & Spencer, Waitrose, the Co-op and Asda - have joined a not-for-profit organisation aiming to clean up the palm oil industry. But Britain's biggest retailer Tesco and the major store chains Morrisons and Iceland, have refused to join the Roundtable on Sustainable Palm Oil.
We now ask you to not only sign the petition, but to boycott all Britains supermarkets that have refused to join the Roundtable to now make safe the Orangutan.
21. Boycott China Until Murderers Are Held Accountable
On Monday, a picture became circulated of a helpless infant dieing in water in a red bucket in a HOSPITAL in China. After the Chinese Birth Control Office injected poison into the pregnant woman to make her deliver the baby dead, it actually came out alive and started to cry.
The people responsible ripped the baby from its mother and threw it in a bucket, with water in it, to die. This is not going away and harm will come upon our world for this kind of atrocity continuing. Shame on the Chinese government for allowing this, and anyone else who condones this criminal, terrorist activity upon helpless infants.
I ask, and hold and hear by that those involved need to be held responsible, and put in a courtroom where they will be judged for their crimes by the great citizens of the common world. Thank you. Justice and the common man's concern for human life will prevail!
22. Jackson Houston Hollywood Drug Ban
Drugs in the music and movie business have taken many lives over the years. At no point has the industry taken a solid stand to improve this condition. Society in general bans drug use in the workplace as do others such as professional and amateur sports teams.
Hollywood should now lead the way in banning drugs and drug use in light of the recent losses of Michael Jackson and Whitney Houston. A policy banning drug use should be contained in every talent contract and embrace a true zero tolerance drug policy.
This policy would be mandated and appear in every recording or movie contract. The clause would terminate the contract upon breach. This ban can and should also extend to any lyrics and content that promote the use and sale of illegal drugs.
23. Justice for Hayley - Driving ban should commence on prison release
On 3rd August 2009 Hayley was killed in a car crash aged 17. The driver, Sadat Hakim was found guilty of death by dangerous driving and sentenced to 5 years imprisonment. He was banned from driving for 4 years to run concurrently.
We hope to change this decision, and get the driving ban to commence on prison release.
24. Stop Commercial Diver Deaths
There are laws governing the safety of divers that work in the North Sea, that have prevented accidents and deaths occurring at the rate that was prevalent in the 1970's.
These laws have yet to be reflected in the inshore and coastal areas of the EU.
The following have happened this year:
25th January, Belgium, Olivier Rouxhet, Civil protection fire fighter diver, drowned when trapped on a sluice gate in the river Meuse during a search for two missing children.
23rd March, Spain, Javier Diaz-Macias was working (upstream) on a dam, his body was recovered downstream, it looks like he went through the spillway.
28th March, Spain, Hector Luelmo-Mayo, A soldier with the 5th intervention Battalion based in El Ferral de Bernesga, one of a 4 man diving team, separated from his group, body recovered the day after.
27th April, Italy, Ottavio Baumgartner, Cleaning water intake grill at a the Edipower plant in Sermide in Northern Italy, found stuck on the grill with his mask off, failed to respond to treatment.
4th June, Spain, Julio Dacosta-Gallo, Cleaning the propeller of a tug when 'somebody' started her up, his colleague (Andres) on the other side of the prop was injured but blown clear, Gallo got sucked through the blades and cut to pieces.
7th June, Portugal, David Mato-Garrido, Fish Farm or Fish Processing Plant, Sucked up a water inlet pipe and drowned in the hour it took to get a recovery diver to him.
9th July, Spain, Daniel Heres Álvarez, diver died gathering gelidium ( a kind of kelp used to extract several foods, pharmaceutical and cosmetics components mainly agar-agar ), in north of Spain due to unsafe procedures.
It is time the regulations took into account the safety and training of commercial divers on inland and coastal waters!
Wire rope barriers are dangerous and expensive. Where they have been installed, motorcyclists colliding with them have suffered horrific injuries and death, often far worse than the consequences of the item the wire rope was protecting them from.
Recent studies have shown that they are also more expensive to maintain than their competitors. Various countries such as the Netherlands and Norway have banned their use so there is no reason why they continue to be used in the UK.
Over 250,000 healthy cats and dogs are being put down per year, due to the issue of over breeding resulting in them having no owners, no home and therefore.. no life.
It is unjust and unfair to spare the life of an animal, if help can be given to them. Please remove the 7-14 day euthanization policy, and instead provide foster carers to look after them until they find homes.
Let's all speak out, for the animals that can't.

27. Reveal Industry Statistics, death and abuse in the Canadian Family Court System
PLEASE NOTE: That the above publish date is the origin of petition cause. The petition below was been updated in the month of November of 2011.
The following statement is of my own personal opinion and true beliefs.
I spent less than a year as a licensed private investigator with little to no skill in order to discover what will no doubt soon lead to one of the most significant discoveries and or disclosures of judicial industry information regarding the Canadian family court system ever disclosed.
It is my true belief with respect to my simple discovery that there are no changes that could possibly ever be made to the present family court system that would reduce the enormous amount of suffering and death presently taking place.
With your support, this never before seen judicial industry information will be for the first time, gathered, compiled, then disclosed to the public.
28. Prompt Media and Journalistic Reform
The photo that televised global media news networks used on the announcement of Osama Bin Laden's death yesterday has been confirmed fake, originally reported by the Guardian news paper Monday 2 May 2011 12.03 BST.
This finding prompts the need for news media reform geared toward responsible journalistic principles.
29. Boris: Install mirrors that save cyclists lives (Petition for Paula)
On April 5th 2011, on a clear afternoon long before rush hour, London cyclist and student Paula Jurek was knocked down and killed by a lorry turning left from Camden Road into St Pancras Way. She was just twenty.
She joins many other cyclists killed or gravely injured in the same circumstances in London, but if you click the image above to sign this petition for Paula, and many others, you can help ensure this doesn't happen again.
Her death could have been prevented by three things, one of which is so cheap and simple it could be done tomorrow.
As Boris Johnson tries to coax more cyclists onto our roads, he must also make the same effort to keep them safe. Here’s how:
1. MIRRORS FOR LORRY DRIVERS: In 2010, Mr Johnson introduced "Trixi" mirrors, mounted at junctions to give lorry drivers greater visibility on their left sides and to prevent these kinds of accidents.
But he installed only 39 of these mirrors for the entire capital.
He said they would be "reviewed", but their effectiveness has already been demonstrated in Europe. In January, he was asked when this review would be available. His answer: "TfL will shortly be discussing the results of the trial… to retain the existing mirrors and to install further mirrors." That was January. Where are the results? Where are the mirrors?
Both lorry drivers and cyclists have agreed the mirrors are a big help. Even the Deputy Chair of London's Transport Committee and one of Mr Johnson's own colleagues, Caroline Pidgeon, says these mirrors are an important part of improving cycle safety. But Boris has stalled.
The mirrors do not cost much to install or maintain, and the process involves no disruption. They save lives. We need more, now.
2. CITY TRAINING FOR LORRY DRIVERS: Lorry drivers cannot always see cyclists. While a few London boroughs have specifically trained lorry drivers to watch for them on the capital’s busy and sometimes narrow roads, most boroughs still haven’t.
3. SAFE CYCLE ROUTES IN CAMDEN: There are few provisions for cyclists in Camden, yet many students and young people bike there every day. Camden's roads are packed and its cyclists need safe cycle lanes and cycle boxes. The junction at which Paula died has only one cycle box. Why? It should have three.
Camden Councillor Paul Braithwaite has been pushing TfL to improve cycling provisions where Paula died. "There are far too many deaths on Camden Road," he says.
Smoking causes many life threatening illnesses such as lung cancer and heart disease. Also, for every two hours you spend in a smoke-filled environment, you are inhaling the equivalent of one pack of cigarettes in secondhand smoke.
Furthermore, when non-smokers are exposed to secondhand smoke it is called involuntary smoking or passive smoking. Non-smokers who breathe in secondhand smoke take in nicotine and other toxic chemicals just like smokers do. The more secondhand smoke you are exposed to, the higher the level of these harmful chemicals in your body.
Lastly, about 3,400 lung cancer deaths in non-smoking adults are caused by secondhand smoke. Smokers not only kill themsleves, but murder others who do not smoke too.
