1. Closing down of Tropical Sunset Beach Club

As residents of the surrounding area, we are often subjected to inordinately loud music and dj's on a microphone over weekends.

This noise has often gone on until the early hours of a Saturday, Sunday and also Monday mornings.

We have endured many years of a club, previously Tempo's, and currently Tropical Sunset Beach, from the premises on the corner of Malibongwe and Dawn Rd in Mostyn Park.

2. Support Eastcote HC Second Pitch

Eastcote Hockey Club has submitted a revised application (2414/APP/2012/2812 ) to LB Hillingdon to build a 2nd Astroturf floodlit, multisport pitch on their club grounds at Kings College Playing Fields Ruislip. This pitch will be used mainly for hockey & football similar to the existing pitch, with more than 50% of users being community non club members.

The second pitch will allow the club to play all its home games at the club on Saturdays, carry out midweek training and accommodate all of the youth coaching and matches at the club on a Sunday to cope with the ever-increasing number of youngsters who want to join in. It will also be used by local junior and adult football clubs for 6-a-side games during weekday evenings. The 2nd pitch would also be available to local schools

Ruislip Rangers Football Club will continue to use the grass pitches for junior football and the running track will be refurbished and maintained by the club in the future for unrestricted free community use.

The new artificial pitch provides more than 5 times more sports playing capacity than the traditional single grass pitch it replaces. This increase of sporting facilities entirely supports government ambitions to promote and encourage the general public to engage in physical activities as part of a healthy lifestyle, as well as providing increased leisure activities especially for young people.

The second pitch will occupy 5% of the area of Kings College Playing Fields ensuring that 90% of the playing fields will still be totally available for unrestricted access by the community who will be able to continue their traditional pastimes.

3. Former infants' school in Club Row

The former infants' school in Club Row was designed and built by E.R.Robson, architect to the School Board for London (SBL) from 1872-1884. Most of his early SBL schools have been demolished and, apart from his 1879 infants' school in Club Row, all the surviving examples have been extensively altered. The detached single-storey Nichol Street Infants' School closed in 1933 and survives more or less as built.

The owner of the Grade-II-listed building in the Boundary Estate CA has applied to Tower Hamlets Council for major alterations, which include the unnecessary demolition of several walls and the replacement of the unique roof over the entire roof playground.

4. Petition to form a soccer club under Arizona Youth Soccer Association for the Rancho Sahuarita and near-by communities

USA Youth Sports is a recreational sporting league with over 5000 children registered yearly in four seasons.

We would like to form a soccer club called USA FC to represent our area, to provide a direction for recreational players to play competitively and to play in the Pima County Junior Soccer League.

It is our feeling that players and parents should be provided with the option to play competitive "club" soccer and no recreational teams shall be "harmed" while building or maintaining this club...our desire is to provide a method to further develop those players that wish to do so.

We have elected board members (13) and 8-10 teams waiting for AYSA to approve this request. We are NOT properly supported or represented by clubs from and like Randolf, Tucson Soccer Academy or the Fort Lowell SC as we are forty (40) miles South of Tucson and NOT in Tucson. The communities South of Tucson would like to play soccer during the Fall season to also play games SOUTH OF TUCSON as well as be able to call Rancho Sahuarita our “HOME” field for at least SOME of our games.

We have more fields in our area than any one area in Tucson and are currently forced to drive to Tucson for tournaments and league play.

5. Stop Lapdancing in Leamington High Street and the Town

Opened in 2008 Shades Nightclub has been offering lapdancing and is applying to renew its license. The Licensing Act requires objections to be related to 4 key grounds: to prevent crime and disorder, for public safety, public nuisance and protection of children from harm. But the application I am now told is under the Miscellaneoous Provisions Act 2003 which I have been told by a council officer allows broader objections.

Housing is close by, a new student accommodation building is being built very nearby and it is a well known area for student accommodation. The railway station is a short distance away and the High Street is a shopping area including women's clothing. A community office is around the corner, cafes close by, the Hindu Temple is only a stone's throw away, churches are in the area and the internationally famous Sikh Gurdwara attracting thousands of people is just up the road and amongst many wedding venues attracting business into the town.

6. Official International Super Junior Fan Club

Super Junior (슈퍼주니어), often referred to as SJ or SuJu (슈주), is a popular boy band from South Korea formed by S.M. Entertainment in 2005. They are current leaders of the hallyu wave, undeniably backing a large fan base all over the world.

The official fan club Everlasting Friends is limited specifically to Korea. The goal is to open an international fan base for all fans to enjoy. Super Junior has been enjoying much success in and outside Korea as proven by SMTOWN Paris and the third official concert SS3 that was hosted all over Asia. Now the upcoming SS4 is being hosted all over the globe, it only makes sense for the group to open an international official fan club for all their fans to enjoy and to lengthen their options within the industry.

9. Concern, Compassion & Un-Common Sense for Canada

The Marihuana Medical Access Division of the Canadian Government is archaic, wasteful, inefficient, and incapable of serving those who depend on it. Police have shut down Compassion Clubs in every province outside BC. They provided OUR ONLY SOURCE for a SELECTION of high quality, safe, effective, organic, medicinal cannabis products ~ the government DOES NOT!

MMAR applications are long, complicated, multi-part paper forms which have to be filed and re-filed ANNUALLY! Most patients who obtain a license WILL NEVER BE ANY BETTER! Why complicate and bog down an already horrendous process by repeating the unnecessary? Do they assume if you don’t re-apply that you have died? The doctor provides a prescription, the onus should be on him to modify it, if required, or stop it. Once approved, additional “paperwork” should be the exception – NOT THE RULE!

Patients and growers apply – AND WAIT – for months, or years! Many forms are returned for reasons that neither the patient NOR the doctor can figure out…they tell you there is a problem, not what it is. The BEST case scenario today is a 3 month MINIMUM before you can even ask about the status of your application. If you make an “inquiry” before the 10-12 week window they quote, you are told that IT WILL BE DELAYED!

Our government PRODUCES & DISPENSES SUB-STANDARD MEDICATION. Cannabis replaces MANY different medications and relieves 200 ailments and symptoms. They offer only “cigarettes” or seeds; one Grade (B); one strain (Indica); process it like tobacco to further reduce its efficacy; and sell it to us. They sell a lower grade product for about the same price as the “criminals” on the street offer.

Imagine the government closing pharmacies, making you apply for your medicine, making you wait AT LEAST 3 MONTHS to see whether or not you can have it, if you ask about it before then IT WILL BE DELAYED, and IF they let you have anything it will only be aspirin and YOU HAVE TO BUY THE STUFF THEY MAKE!

This absurd situation has precipitated the ABSOLUTE NEED for Compassion Clubs. If there is a problem with ONE NEW outlet, raid them. The more established, responsible clubs require letters from doctors – verified. They do not allow non-members inside or loitering outside. They dispense only what is allowed and no more than 2 weeks supply. They keep records and conduct business in an ethical manner.

The government approves licenses if you provide the correct form, sworn to, that you have a medical problem but can’t get a doctor to fill out their form. Is that so different from a notary? That problem is the person lying or the notary swearing to it >>NOT THE COMPASSION CLUBS!

The Canadian Government does not know what it is doing. They should ask for help from the network of Compassion Clubs, growers, and patients. We possess the first-hand knowledge, experience, skills, and insight needed to make this right. WE WANT TO HELP – JUST ASK!

10. Restore the free pass

The wardens of the caravan club for many years have worked tirelessly to keep members safe and help them enjoy our sites, they are paid to work for around 40 hrs each but as you know the sites are open 7 days a week 24 hrs a day, who is looking after you on the other hours?

They have done this on a little over the minimum wage on the promise that when they retire they will have a free years free pass for every year they work for the club and they can use this when they choose. The Director General has just inserted a restriction on this use to stop retired wardens (and remember all wardens working now will eventually retire ) using this pass at peak times unless they pay! We feel this is the thin end of the wedge ,is the CLUB now turning into a Money Making Machine ?

We don't want to change the friendly feel of the club ,but without the goodwill of your wardens it will.

11. Save Alpharetta Ambush Soccer

The Alpharetta Ambush soccer program is administered by the City of Alpharetta. The team has achieved great success in the 9 years since DOC David Eristavi has managed the program, with many successful young players moving through Rec leagues to Academy to Select to RPL3. Eighty percent of players from top Ambush teams have even been offered soccer scholarships, many at NCAA Div. 1 schools.

The Ambush club is well known in the soccer community due to this success and has attracted top trainers who coach top Alpharetta talent.

During the 2007/08 season, the City of Alpharetta changed the residency requirement for Ambush teams from 50% for the entire program to 50% per individual team. This ruling has already had a detrimental effect on the Ambush Club and its residents.

Imposing a 50% residency requirement per individual team creates instability, including those who meet the requirement, as they are left with uncertainty from year to year about their team's status. The uncertainty has and will continue to lead to defections to other clubs.

We believe Alpharetta residents benefit by having a high-calibre youth soccer club by:
- Generating interest for youth soccer at all levels including Rec;
- Providing Alpharetta residents with a top-notch club and high-quality teams for their youth players to participate in;
- Adding to the great schools and programs that attract people to Alpharetta;
- Having players act as ambassadors for the City of Alpharetta;
- Teaching life skills on and off the field;
- Creating a stronger Alpharetta community for youth and adults;
- and thereby increasing housing values

We support the City's desire to be good stewards of residents' resources, and believe this can be achieved while still creating greater stability for the Club by enforcing the 50% residency requirement to the Ambush Club as a whole vs. individual Ambush teams.

14. Boycott of all three of Arsenal's awful 09/10 shirts

Football supporters love their club. One way to show this is to purchase and wear with pride a replica shirt in your team's colours. Clubs have become increasingly aware of this and often release new shirts each season to cash in on this inherent need to belong.

But Arsenal FC has gone too far.

The red home shirt lost the massively recognisable white sleeves last year (and looks like Charlton).

The new away kit is quite simply all blue (and looks like Chelsea).

The third kit is white with with dark shorts and resembles a baseball shirt (and looks like Spurs).

Now whilst the players have no choice in what they wear on the pitch, I cannot believe the club has been so short-sighted as to think that its fans will be happy to wear the colours of other, rival, London clubs.

17. Bring Back the Honey Bears

The Chicago Bears are among the few franchises that do not currently have cheerleaders. This has not always been the case. From 1977 to 1985 the official cheerleaders for the Chicago Bears were the Honey Bears. They cheered at all Bears home games and performed at halftime.

Papa Bear Halas was actually the one that came up with the "dancing girl", as he called them, and said that the Honey Bears would be around as long as he was alive. After his death in 1983 the McCaskey family decided to end their relationship with the Honey Bears, declining to renew their contract following the Bears' Superbowl XX Championship.

Isn't it time that one of the leagues original franchises have cheerleaders again, and return to glory? Its the way Papa Bear would have wanted.

18. Push Boston's Closing Time Back to 5 A.M.!

While traveling these Great United States of America, I've discovered Boston, the city I love, to be on par or to surpass many a major city in terms of culture, fashion, history, education, and diversity. What do these cities posses that Boston lacks? The case could be made for better roads, cleaner subways, or costlier housing. However, I believe that one glaring knock on Boston's national and international reputation is its early-to-bed nightlife.

For a city so vibrant, so rich, and so young, closing times affect people from all walks of life who find themselves in Beantown: tourists, college students, businessmen and women, musicians, professional athletes, and so on. To better compete economically with other major cities, as well as opening doors to greater investment and diversity, Boston should push its closing time back to one comparable with other great cities, 5 A.M. .

19. Save Ouran High School Host Club

Summary:
Haruhi Fujioka is a scholarship student at Ouran High School, a fictional school located in Bunkyō, Tokyo. Because of the superlative cost of the school uniform, Haruhi resorts to wearing long slacks, polo shirts and vests. Combined with her large glasses and tousled short hair, Haruhi's look causes her to be confused for a boy.

Looking for a quiet place to study, Haruhi stumbles upon the Third Music Room, a place where the Ouran high school host club gathers, a group of six extremely attractive male students. During their first meeting, Haruhi accidentally knocks over and breaks a vase valued at ¥8,000,000 and is told she was in debt to them for her action. She then joins the club, dressed like a boy in order to pay off her debt.Translating to eighty hundred US dollars(US$80,000).

Background:
The Ouran Private Academy encompasses kindergarten to twelfth grade. Most students come from wealthy families but, in rare occasions, special scholarships are granted to students from a lower income bracket. The school's unofficial motto is "Lineage counts first, wealth a close second," meaning students with stellar family backgrounds are given top priority over those from rich families but low social status.

Disclaimer:
I do NOT own any of this but did make some modifications.

I didn't know if I need a disclaimer or not.

21. Back The Manager - Save NFFC from Relegation

Fans have suspected for many years that the board is not fully backing managers with appropriate funds for both transfer fees and wages. This has to stop.

Fans have continued to support the club through nearly a decade of dismal performances culminating in 3 years in League One. Its time for Nigel Doughty to deliver on his promise of progress at the club.
