Petition Tag - city of detroit

For almost as long as I have known her, my boyfriend's mother has been complaining about her plumbing problems. The toilet doesn't flush properly and consistently, raw sewage backs up into her basement and the sink doesn't work either. She also informed me that several of her neighbors have the same problems.

On my last visit to her, she informed me that if she could start a petition and present it to the city, she may be able to get some changes made. She has consulted with several plumbers and they all say the same thing, it is not a problem that is coming from her home, it is the sewer which the city is responsible for.
