Recently Dick Wolf and NBC created a new drama, "Law & Order: Los Angeles" to keep the "Law & Order" fandom going on NBC due to the recent cancelation of the original "Law & Order" on NBC in May 2010 (after being on the air on NBC for 20 record-tying/breaking seasons).
The new LA "Law & Order" has really poor writing quality which is affecting the acting of the cast members on the ‘new’ series. And the show is being treated as a 'sunny beach Law & Order' and not a gritty crime/police/legal-drama as the original series was. Fans don't figuratively want sunshine - even if it is shining; they want gory crimes, grit, and courtroom drama! NOT “ripped from TMZ” celebrity scandals, surfers, and ice cream!
They want: “RIPPED FROM THE HEADLINES” STRAIGHT UP MURDER, PERIOD-POINT-BLANK; NO SPECIAL STATUS!
The showrunners are: Rene Balcer, Peter Jankowski, Blake Masters, Christopher Misiano, and Dick Wolf. Jankowski and Balcer come from the original series along with the creator Wolf;
But who are Blake Masters and Christopher Misiano? - I can tell you what they are doing, making the 'new' Law & Order CRAPPY. They have these 'messed up' storylines that make no sense and are NOT what "Law & Order" is about - and the fans disagree with them.
The fans of "Law & Order" and "Law & Order: Los Angeles" want a change or they want OUT!
We want "Law & Order" in "Law & Order: Los Angeles" NOT 5% Law, 5% Order, 90% Los Angeles are everything in the media and on television about it.
We want "Law & Order: Los Angeles" to be what "Law & Order" is! Not these 'new L.A. stories'!

8. Bring Placebo "Battle For The Sun" Tour to US and Canada
Placebo’s current “Battle For The Sun” Tour around the globe has been a complete success since same started past June 2009. On July of 2009 Placebo were set to start a tour in North America and Canada next September 2009 as announced on their official website PlaceboWorld.
After an intensive schedule playing about 5 countries in less than 10 days, Placebo´s frontman, Mr. Brian Molko, collapsed on stage at the Summer Sonic Festival in Osaka, Japan past August 2009, victim of exhaustion coupled with a virus he contracted in Asia. This situation forced the band to cancel the entire North American and Canadian Tour, not without letting the fans know the band was willing to try and do everything to rearrange the cancelled dates as soon as possible.
Mr. Brian Molko recovered well and the band got back to work on September 2009. After 2 unforgettable appearances in Mexico on September 2009 (Coca Cola Zero Fest and MTV Latin America Music Awards) and the über successful South America Tour past April 2010, Placebo is now back in Europe for their Summer Festivals Tour.
The band’s headline performances continue growing. Unfortunately they haven’t rescheduled North American and Canadian Tour. Many fans overseas are getting really frustrated as the dates Placebo’s management has been releasing since Mr. Brian Molko recovered and until -at least- next September 2010, do not include US and/or Canada.
Notwithstanding the above, we still have hope for US and Canada dates to be rescheduled before “Battle For The Sun” Worldwide Tour is officially over.

I believe it is time for speaking again with a national voice—expressing a clear vision—in order to affirm who we are and to assert a “stronger public presence” in this country. I have an (im)modest proposal as a means of realizing these goals: commit ourselves as individuals, congregations and as a national religious denomination to a focused, decade-long project to pressure our federal government to restore a fully funded, national affordable housing program back into the federal budget, and to make it a policy priority to achieve.
Across Canada, in a dozen meetings dedicated to addressing poverty, civic and community leaders told Liberal MP Ken Dryden that the single most important thing this nation’s government could do to alleviate poverty in Canada was for the government to forge, fund and restore a credible national housing program.
Since it was slashed from the federal budget in 1993, Canada is the only G8 nation with no national affordable housing program. More than 300,000 people in this country are homeless. Close to three million families are struggling with basic, core housing needs. The inadequacy of decent housing for our First Nations and Inuit people is an international disgrace. Ten years ago, Canada’s mayors declared that we have a national housing crisis.
Ask politicians, journalists, and community advocates the question, “How can an individual congregation influence public policy outcomes?” and they answer, “Send letters to elected representatives."
Politicians are influenced by pressure from their constituents.” We sorely undervalue this: we rarely use it. It’s time to begin the work, and commit to it until it is achieved. In so doing, I believe we may discover the unique things that Canada has to say, and we may yet learn to speak the special language of this place to greater effect.
We could discover broader fellowship, expanded vision and renewed strength — we could discover ourselves — our vision and our voice.

22. Abolish the proposed Harmonized Sales Tax in Ontario
On March 26th, 2009, the Ontario government announced the introduction of a single sales tax on July 1, 2010 to "further strengthen Ontario’s economic growth and tax competitiveness".
While attempting to alleviate the financial situation many Canadians will be put in, the McGuinty government will provide $10.6 billion in tax relief to people and $4.5 billion in tax relief to businesses over the course of three years.
However, the implementation of this tax will cause most items and services (such as legal services, real estate and gasoline) to increase dramatically; something us as Canadians are not at liberty to agree with in today's economic crisis.
The purpose of this petition is to challenge the intended introduction of the Harmonized Sales Tax on the provinces of Ontario. Those who sign this petition believe that this taxation will only hinder the economic growth of the provinces of Ontario and British Columbia.

25. Boycott of all three of Arsenal's awful 09/10 shirts
Football supporters love their club. One way to show this is to purchase and wear with pride a replica shirt in your team's colours. Clubs have become increasingly aware of this and often release new shirts each season to cash in on this inherent need to belong.
But Arsenal FC has gone too far.
The red home shirt lost the massively recognisable white sleeves last year (and looks like Charlton).
The new away kit is quite simply all blue (and looks like Chelsea).
The third kit is white with with dark shorts and resembles a baseball shirt (and looks like Spurs).
Now whilst the players have no choice in what they wear on the pitch, I cannot believe the club has been so short-sighted as to think that its fans will be happy to wear the colours of other, rival, London clubs.

28. Classes of 2010 and 2011 against the Graduation Project
In 2006 when the class of 2010 was notified of the graduation project there was an extremely negative response within the student body.
The graduation project is a time consuming task which students must complete in order to graduate high school. It consists of four major parts, a paper, presentation, product, and portfolio. This project is not incorporated into many high school’s demanding curriculums and is superfluous. This project takes a minimum of 30 hours.
If a student does not complete the project they are not allowed to graduate, unfortunately some students do not have the time or money to complete the project, increasing the dropout rate in North Carolina schools. By 2010 the dropout rate could increase greatly, depending on the outcome of the graduation project. No child’s future is worth betting on the outcome of a poorly planned project. The blame for this lack of preparation cannot fall on the schools themselves because the government, who was so quick to implement a project to try and “help” students, is now putting all of the responsibility on the separate schools to fit “their unique needs”: which can be translated as putting all of the burden on the schools while waiting until 2010 to assess the “success” of the project.
There are a fair amount of schools who already have a graduation project worked into the curriculum and have made the appropriate changes to fit in the extra work. Many schools, however, are having to scrap together a plan as the four years progress quickly for the class of 2010. At the very least, more time is needed for the schools to create a plan and structure for the project before it becomes a graduation requirement.
The schools that will benefit from this project already have a similar project in place, it should be the school’s decision whether to implement the project based on the schools unique needs. In order to help the student’s education process and prepare them for the “21st century workplace”, we, the classes of 2010 and 2011, believe that each public school in North Carolina should only implement the graduation project if a majority of the school’s teachers and administration think that it would be beneficial to the student body.

Schluss mit Parteiendiktatur, die Macht soll wieder vom Volk ausgehen. Daher: Abstimmen für Wolfgang Pöltl.
