Petition Background (Preamble):
On May 25, 2005, our dear friend was struck by a truck while riding her bike. She was not wearing a helmet and suffered severe head injuries, skull fracture, bruising on the brain, etc. Our purpose in writing this petition is to encourage people to wear helmets when they are biking, skating, skateboarding, etc.

We, the undersigned, do hereby agree that wearing helmets for recreational sports should be encouraged and required in the city of Warren, Ohio.
