Employees feel that they should be allowed to wear shorts, pedal pushers, or capri's to work, especially during the summer months.
Most employees have to walk in the heat of the summer and long pants make this very uncomfortable. With temperatures reaching 100 degrees, this can also be unhealthy.
We would like management to consider changing the current dress code to allow shorts.

We, the undersigned, urge the management of the University Bookstore to allow employees to wear non-athletic shorts and pants that reach below their fingertips or longer.
