Petition Background (Preamble):
My son Jalen Jackson is a senior honor student at Washington high School located in Charles Town West Virginia. Who on Feb. 29,2012 with a few seconds left in a basketball game heard his coach call me his mother " a stupid bitch"!!
Jalen became very upset and stated to me and my brother using profanity to us clearly out of frustration what he heard, was approached abruptly and grabbed by the athletic director and told you better calm down, Which no one is ever allowed to touch a person without permission, this is assault and battery. Jalen appealed a 3 day suspension all the way to a level 4 and has had to serve the suspension which dismissed him from National honor society. Nothing was done at all to the administration all staff involved knew the AD put his hand on a student and they need to be punished because it wasn't reported to their superiors. I just want my son to graduate with all of his honors that he has earned.
Standing up for something that was wrong directed toward his mother and him responded as any child would to me does not constitute for such harsh discipline. Please help me by supporting Jalen. He graduates on May 26,2012 thank you.

We, the undersigned, call on the NAACP, STUDENTS, PARENTS, STAFF, ANY AND ALL CITIZENS to support Jalen Jackson and his plea to graduate with all honors he has earned on May 26, 2012.
