The Australian gaming community has long asked for legal reform that added an R18+ rating for games but now the South Australian Government thinks that removing the MA15+ rating in favor of just an R18+ rating.
We can't allow the South Australian Government to have rating guidelines different to the rest of the country for two main reasons;
1. eventually the other states will adopt the same legislation and we will be back where we started and
2. it wont stop gamers in SA buying games from interstate that are rated MA15+ there but R18+ in SA.
We, the undersigned, call on the South Australian Government to keep a rating scheme for games identical to the rest of the country and to vote in favor of R18+ legislation.
