Hewlett Packard & Canon both download by stealth, to consumers' PCs, software that prevents them from using any hardware other than their own inferior brand name products - e.g. toner for their ink jet printers.
Petition:
We the undersigned call on both the Hewlett Packard & Canon corporations to immediately stop the practice of stealthily downloading to the PC's of consumers, such software that prevents the consumer having a choice of the product they may use as well as these corporations creating problems for the environment by this action.
