Robert Burns - The Legend - Gerard Butler Role - Help Make It A Reality!!!

We, the undersigned, call on the Scottish Government, Heritage Funding and Scottish Film Commission to commit funding / various other resources and Awareness to a Burns Film in honor of - The year 2009 marks the 250th anniversary of the birth of Robert Burns.

It is only fitting that a Scotsman such as Gerard Butler play the role - A role he was indeed born to play

One project Butler hopes to take on next year is a biopic of the Scottish poet Robert Burns. "It is a project I am passionate about, and though it has been a struggle to get financing, it is my full intention to make it," he says.

We can help make this a reality with our show of support!!!

The Power of Fan Support can indeed move mountains and make the world stand up and take notice.

I am a transplanted Scot with roots in the Grant Clan and live in Canada and appeal to all who know it in their heart that this indeed can become a reality!!
