Reduction in Ticket Prices at Wigan Athletic
Petition published by Bas Savage on Aug 15, 2006
| 70 Signatures |
Target: Wigan Athletic Football Club
Region: United Kingdom
Petition Background (Preamble):
When Wigan Athletic were promoted to the Premiership in 2004/2005 season, their was an average gate of 11,155 during that season.
Ticket prices for the first season in the Barclays Premiership were relatively cheap and this resulted in more people coming to watch Wigan Athletic, especially younger people.
This resulted in an average attendance of 20,904 in 2005/2006. However, for the 2006/2007 season ticket prices have rose emphatically, especially the concession prices, who are the future fans and Wigan are driving them away.
