Petition Background (Preamble):
West Iron County Schools do not currently offer a generalized art program or music or choir program. We strongly feel you are doing an injustice to the many multi talented students that currently attend your schools. There are many students that have no structured way to ever excel at there many talents.
This isn't just for the current student population but for generations to come. There are proven statistics that show having these programs in schools not only helps with behavior but having art and music classes also seem to promote better math and science skills as well.
