Petition Background (Preamble):
We the undersigned demand that the City of Vancouver Parks Board cease and desist the removal or the shrubbery and blackberry bushes in Jericho beach park, in the area described in the PHASE 2 Shrub Removal Diagram.
These bushes are home to many different species, including 100+ Rabbits, most of whom are breeding at this time, and disturbing the plantings could result in harm or death to the animals or their offspring. Further consultation for management of this site is required.
