Ontario Stewardship Councils are Important to Ontarians

We the undersigned; request that Premier McGuinty intervene and ensure that the Ontario Stewardship program with their MNR Stewardship Coordinators remain working on the landscape. It is a value for money program that the grassroots taxpayer understands and appreciates.

In our view the Stewardship program is, and should continue to be the bedrock for the delivery of Ontario’s Biodiversity Strategy and many of the important legislative initiatives your government has overseen. We would therefore respectfully request that you have Minister Gravelle and his management team reconsider the changes to the Stewardship program.
