Petition Background (Preamble):
A survey has shown that the majority of Pokemon books are bought via Scholastic book orders. Many children's minds will not be further contaminated if this petition passes.
Petition:
We, the undersigned, are hereby asking Scholastic Books, Inc. to cease publishing of Pokemon-related materials by their company, or at least to pull their Pokemon-related materials from school book orders. Until this happens, we, the undersigned, hereby promise to: A) not purchase Scholastic materials from school book orders, B) encourage others to not purchase Scholastic materials from school book orders, and C) not promote Scholastic Books, Inc. in any way. We will even hide all Scholastic materials which we already own.
