Petition Background (Preamble):
South central rural telephone has a monopoly in the town of Glasgow and people like me who live in the county can not have any other company to provide, cable or internet.
This is against my rights and freedom to be able to have just cable or just internet. But the way it is I have to pay scrtc $30 just for a home phone that has very poor service if I want cable or internet.
No company should be allowed to control our town or any other town. Please I would like to have cable with a reliable company and not have to pay for services we don't need or want and don't want to pay outrageous prices.

We, the undersigned, call on the city of Glasgow and Barren county, request to allow all companies who provide cable and internet to be able to offer and provide services to all residents.
