This is a petition set up for the residents of Burleigh on the Gold Coast. They are in desperate need of better protection of violent crime in their area.
They need a Police Station in the middle of area where most of the problems occur and there is a perfect old run down building in the perfect location that has been an eyesore for far too many years now.

Petition:
We the undersigned call on the State Government to provide funding for a new Burleigh Police Station to be located in the old medical centre building so that crime rate can be reduced and incidences can be attended to quicker.
We the Burleigh community need to feel safer in our own environment.
