Petition Background (Preamble):
While ESL by technical application helps save the environment from fast degradation due to domestic & industrial wastes, its implementation is guided by government mandates. One basic requirement is the so called "SOCIAL ACCEPTABILITY".
All stake holders have the right to know if we are implementing a project which at any rate "out-cost" its collateral damages.

Petition:
We the undersigned are requesting from the Proponent of the Tapak ESL, to disseminate more information on the implementation of the said project.
We want to know why the proponents willingly sacrifice burying a watershed and a protected area, destroying one of the remaining patch of a virgin forest, altering the biodiversity of the area, killing all flora & fauna of that place, & alienate their constituents, all for the implementation of this ESL.
We want also to know how on earth did they obtain EIS/EIA/ECC of this project.
