Petition Background (Preamble):
We, the store owners can hardly make ends meet in these times of hardship, reconstructing our windows, show cases and doors is not only bad for business but also unsafe.
We are not sure if you are aware of the robberies that are occurring on broadway, but the city must be prepared to take responsibility. There is no good that's going to come out of this project only bad. Please reconsider and come up with another project that we can ALL see good in.

Petition:
We, the undersigned, ask the board of building and safety commissioners to reconsider the order of compliance to remove roll up doors, neon lighting, signs, and awnings.
