Help the sick and injured in Canada

We the undersigned call on the Canadian government to extend unemployment sickness benefits longer than 15 weeks. In between the time unemployment runs out ant CPP starts up people are losing everything, their homes, cars, even the will to continue living.

It's not fair that on top of having to deal with an injury or sickness we also have to find a way to eat and live because no government agencies are willing or capable of helping.

People are starving and freezing to death waiting on paper work from our government that should only take 16 weeks.
