Petition Background (Preamble):
Kosovo is historically, as it is now, Albanian. Slobodan Milosevic treated the Kosovars like scum. The Serb police did terrible things... or was the slaughter of thousands of innocent Albanians an accident?
Milosevic said the Albanians fled the NATO bombs, not the Serbs. But this was in mid 1998, seven months before the first NATO bomb.
Kosovo has finally declared the independence that it deserves and now seeks full recognition.

We, the undersigned, call on the UN and the EU, as well as all member countries, to recognise the independence and secession from Serbia of Kosovo.
